INTRODUCTION

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. (Hebrews 11:11)

We took a space of time from the previous article to compile our thoughts on the two women in Hebrews 11:11. Yes, two women: Sarai and Sarah. Sarai means my princess.

And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. (Genesis 17:15)
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. (Genesis 17:16)

Sarah also means princess, but a princess beyond the tribal position and the place of wedded honor as in the name of Sarai. Through God’s renaming of Sarah from the name of Sarai, God revealed her new national and spiritual place of honor and blessing with the abundance of added blessing in the words: she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Added to the meaning of princess we have the added meaning of blessed abundance, and from Sarah we build on FAITH. We have one woman living two distinct parts. One part is of the earth, earthly. The other part is of the heavenly heavens. Sarai is a princess connected to Jerusalem of the earth. Then we have Sarah, the woman who is connected to the Jerusalem above . . . the heavenly city of God.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Galatians 4:26)
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. (Galatians 4:27)
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. (Galatians 4:28)
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. (Galatians 4:29)

As Sarai, the princess, we are aware that she would give birth to a prince, and this prince would be called Isaac, which means great joy and he shall laugh. Now, in Isaac, all the hopes and promises that God gave to Abraham would be accomplished through the Heirship which would be in Isaac, the child of the spirit of promise. Are you ready? We are stepping out onto hallowed ground, and you might remove your shoes.

The Womb of the Spirit of Faith
—– From That Which was Dead Came Life —–

Jerusalem, which is above, is the womb of the Spirit of all faith. This comes from the Prince of Faith who is the possessor of all faith and the Creator of all faith, Jesus Christ. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Sarai’s womb was dead. Abraham, he being dead, was also pronounced for being as good as dead by the Spirit of God. Therefore, sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the seashore innumerable. (Hebrews 11:12) Through Scripture we learn that the name of Abram was changed to Abraham and Sarai’s name was changed to Sarah. (This name change from Abram to Abraham was a divine prophetic shadow of the spiritual principle THAT A MAN MUST BE BORN AGAIN.) Abram means father of the lofty and/or father of many while the name of Abraham means father of a multitude or many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. (Genesis 17:5) And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. (Genesis 17:6)
Let us build on Abraham and Sarah. Out of Abraham came many nations, and Sarah would be blessed as the mother of kings and people. In Isaac, the prince, the stream of faith would enlighten the future heirs of the promises and blessings given to Abraham. Isaac would be the heir of all of Abraham’s wealth and possessions. In the seed of the promise, which was Isaac at that time, all the earthly blessings and promises met. In the supernatural realm in Isaac and his descendants would ALL the heavenly blessings meet.
In Hebrews 11:12 God builds on a supernatural faith. He is building both the earthly blessings using the sands of the sea as a great number and then the heavenly seed innumerable in the stars of the sky, or the heavenlies. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. (Hebrews 11:12)

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. (Genesis 22:17)

Genesis 17:1 begins with Abraham’s repentance. Although the word repentance is not used, God DEMANDS of Abraham that he would walk before me, and be thou perfect. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. We MUST see this spiritual perfection of righteousness in connection with Abraham . . . walk before me, and be thou perfect. This is connected to Abraham’s belief and receiving the righteousness of God by his belief and FAITH in the God of glory who had appeared to him in Mesopotamia. When Abraham believed God, it was added unto him righteousness. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. (Genesis 15:5) And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:6) We, who have believed through faith, have also acquired that same righteousness IN Christ Jesus our Lord. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. (1st Corinthians 1:30)
The Spirit of God in Genesis Chapter 17 used the phrase I AM in connection with the God of Eternity in the very first verse . . . I am the Almighty God. CLICK HERE for more about the I AM.

Mini Side Note: This title of Almighty God is only recorded THREE times in Scripture.
1. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I [am] the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. (Genesis 17:1)
2. And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard [even] to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh. (Ezekiel 10:5)
3. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15)
End of Mini Side Note.

Through these two words I AM He is building a connection to His name’S sake. The phrase His name’s sake is a term used many times in Scripture to unify ALL the names of God into ONE name, which is above all names, the name of Jesus Christ. CLICK HERE for more about His name’s sake.
In Genesis Chapter 17, the Lord used two words, I AM, to build on the God of Creation. The only wise God is bringing attention to Himself . . . LOOK AT ME, YOUR GOD . . . KNOW ME, YOUR GOD . . . SEE ME, YOUR GOD . . . for in the Supernatural Person is ALL blessings and promises that will be fulfilled in the ONE who is the fullness of time. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. (Galatians 4:4) It is this GOD who at sundry times and in diverse manners spoke in times past unto the fathers. Why do I bring sundry times and diverse manners up here? God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (Hebrews 1:1) I bring this up now at this point because of the supernatural window in Luke Chapter 16, where the Spirit of God draws back the curtain of the UNSEEN and once more we see Abraham and he is addressed as ‘Father Abraham‘ and contained in this representation as father Abraham is ALL grace and ALL truth.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (Luke 16:24)
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. (Luke 16:25)
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (Luke 16:29)
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. (Luke 16:30)
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (Luke 16:31)

Here the voice of Abraham and all the prophets are heard. In this spiritual phenomena we are able to pull back the curtain of the UNSEEN world and look into the supernatural fiery furnace of hell, and simultaneously look up into heaven to the bosom of grace and truth. Never listen to the unrighteous. Always see Luke 16 as a REALITY of the supernatural and not as a parable. The Lord Jesus Christ NEVER referred to Luke 16 as a parable, but He deliberately referenced a nameless certain rich man and a certain beggar named Lazarus. The Lord Jesus unveiled the UNSEEN world of hell to shake the soul of unrepentant man and their sure destination in their unbelief. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Luke 16:23)

Now back to all the promises given to Abraham that began with the promise of a seed and the birth of Isaac, the prince. Isaac was received both by Abraham and Sarah through FAITH, although in the promises given, both Sarah and Abraham laughed. The flesh has a difficult time with supernatural matters. They both accepted the birth of Ishamel, who was a child of the flesh, yet they laughed at the prospect and promise of a child of the Spirit. The child of promise and blessing must come through the Spirit of God, and Isaac was a child of the Spirit. In the promises of God to Abraham, Isaac brought forth all the great joys of those promises. Up to the birth of Isaac, Ishamel had considered himself as the rightful and only heir of all of Abraham’s wealth and blessings which were a great inheritance. Since Ishmael was born after the flesh and held the Adamic curse upon his shoulders as a child of Adam, he was a child of The Law of Sin and Death. Isaac, however, was born of the Spirit and thus his inheritance would reach beyond the stars to the heavenly Jerusalem which is above.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, (Hebrews 12:22)
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Hebrews 12:23)
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)

We are now beginning to see the depth of Scripture with the eye of the spirit of faith. We are seeing the reality of the diverse manners and sundry times of Hebrews 1:1 and 2. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (Hebrews 1:1) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. (Hebrews 1:1) To open the window of faith we should identify with the voice of the Spirit of God that through FAITH (not natural strength) but through FAITH Sarah received strength to conceive. It was the God of creation who sent forth a created seed for Sarah’s dead womb.

But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. (Galatians 4:29)
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24)
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (Galatians 3:25)
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

What we should see is that in Abraham there is both an earthly seed of promise in Isaac and a heavenly seed which was Christ. One gives us the blessings of the earthly world and the earthly Jerusalem which was the seed in Isaac, and the Seed which was and is Christ gives us the heavenly blessings as the stars in the sky. Again, keep in mind that from Genesis 1 to the end of the divine Scriptures, the reader (the seeker of Truth) is spiritually taught truth through sundry times and in diverse manners.
Those who are born of Christ, born of the Spirit, are all ONE in Christ Jesus. We have been taken out of this world, and we have been made a new creature IN Jesus Christ. All has been changed eternally in the sight of God. In God’s sight, our being has been made perfect IN His beloved Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are only born in the flesh are born in Adam and have the spirit of Adam as Ishamel, for he was born of the Adamic nature. Isaac was born in the Spirit which is from above. Isaac was a gift from God to a barren couple. In this manner, without God’s intervention, Ishmael would have been the heir, but God in His determinate counsels and foreknowledge provided a seed through a supernatural act of God.
Now one more fact that many overlook: Sarai is the only woman recorded in Scripture that her name was changed by God. Sarah is the related name to the Jerusalem, which is above, the mother of ALL the redeemed. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Galatians 4:26) When Paul, through the Spirit, used the term, mother of us all, he was speaking of those IN Christ, which are ALL one in Galatians 3:28 and 29. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28) And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)
A great misconception in Chapter 3 of the gospel of John is that Christ was NOT referring to Old Testament truth when He declared that a man must be born again . . . Christ WAS speaking of Old Testament truth. Faith, the supernatural faith of God, is consistent throughout both the Old and the New Testament. Consider the first person of FAITH: Abel. It is ONE God-given faith that opens the heart to the new birth. These verses in Galatians Chapter 3 encompasses ALL those of faith. Many prophets and individuals in the Old Testament had FAITH. In this we see that FAITH is the full circle of God’s love in Christ Jesus. I want you to see that the Spirit of God is adding depth to sundry times and diverse manners. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (Hebrews 1:1).

And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. (Numbers 12:5)
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. (Numbers 12:6)
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. (Numbers 12:7)
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? (Numbers 12:8)
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10)
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11)
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2nd Peter 1:21)

The UNSEEN Spirit of Faith

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. (Hebrews 11:11)

The great God of all creation, the beginning of the creation of God, created a seed for the seedless Abram. According to Hebrews 11:11, the seed was given through faith. Notice the address of this verse (11:11). The Holy Spirit gives us FOUR one’s (1-1-1-1).
Let us begin with the first number (1). God reveals HIMSELF to both Abram and Sarai. The number ONE is His presence with them. Then next we have two one’s (1-1) this is God’s personal witness IN them that He would not leave them childless, and two ones give us the number 2, which is the number of witness. This is also connected with the God of creation for in Revelation 3:14, it is God, the Son, who is the True witness of God. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. Thirdly we have three one’s (1-1-1) which speaks of the fulness of the Godhead bodily: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Then finally, we have four ones: (1-1-1-1). The number four is the number of the earth, and they who dwell therein.
After this divine address of 11:11, God tells us that through faith Sarah obtained the strength to conceive. Out of a dead womb, God resurrected life, and gave a seed as a son to Sarah. She received strength through FAITH in God’s Son. We, as the redeemed, have been called out of the womb of The Law of Sin and Death by the SEED which is Christ the Lord who has given us eternal life in Himself. We must be reminded that God desires that we should always want to always hear the words from above, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. This is that holy thing from above, the holy child Jesus, the Holy One and it is HE who has made the holy brethren partakers of the heavenly calling in Christ Jesus. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus. (Hebrews 3:1)
In Isaac all the promises of God and the blessings to the SEED of Abraham would be seen and fulfilled in the fulness of time. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (Galatians 4:4). This SEED is Christ. All the blessings that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ both now and forever are sealed by the Spirit of grace, the Holy Spirit of God. Now, let us return to ANOTHER sundry time and ANOTHER diverse manner.

The UNSEEN Spirit IN, THROUGH and BY
Eliezer of Damascus
The UNSEEN Stewardship of the Holy Spirit

Remember when Abram said to God that he had no heir but this Eliezer of Damascus, the steward of his house that Abram was looking only at himself.

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (Genesis 15:1)
And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? (Genesis 15:2)
And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. (Genesis 15:3)

Abram was in a terminal position according to the flesh. Eliezer, the steward over the house of Abram is mentioned only ONCE in Scripture. Eliezer’s stewardship was much more than a description of an occupation. (As there is ONLY ONE Holy Spirit there was also only ONE steward by the name of Eliezer). By the way, his name means, God is help.
As Isaac grew into manhood, Abraham did not want a wife for his son from the people that Abraham dwelt among known as the Canaanites. Previous to the search for a wife for Isaac, much transpired: the offering of Isaac by Abraham on one of the mountains of Moriah, the separation of Lot from Abraham, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the battle between the four kings of the east and the five kings, Abraham’s victory over the kings of the east, the conflict between Abraham and Abimelech king of Gerar, Sarah’s death and much more. Isaac was forty years old when he met and married Rebekah.

And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines’ land many days. (Genesis 21:34)
And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. (Genesis 24:1)
And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: (Genesis 24:2)
And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: (Genesis 24:3)
But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. (Genesis 24:4)
And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. (Genesis 24:10)

Abraham, called his steward and together an oath was sealed to seek out a proper bride for Isaac. And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: (Genesis 24:3) But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. (Genesis 24:4) Thus, he journeyed into the land of Abraham’s nativity. Notice in Scripture that at that point in time that this steward was nameless. For this nameless servant was a type of the Holy Spirit. This is part of those sundry times and diverse manners.
When Christ ascended on high, He sent the Holy Spirit of God into the world to draw out a bride for His Son. This is the bride of Song of Songs. The beginning of the creation of God (Christ), the God of creation, the God of heaven sent His Spirit into the world to search out a bride for His Son, Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God brings with Him, the treasures and blessings of heaven and the wealth of eternal life.
The bride to come would be named Rebekah. Her name means tying and/or enchained. In a sense a complete union, even in this world, many use the term ‘tying the knot’ when referring to marriage. The ring is a symbol of complete unity that cannot be broken by man. But, when heavenly things are known, it is the Spirit of grace tying us as the bride to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom.
There are many spiritual parallels between the unnamed steward of Abraham and the Spirit of God. Now the unnamed servant of Abraham went into a FAR country until he came to the appointed place. And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. (Genesis 24:10) (Why ten camels? Ten is the number of God’s perfect order and it is also the number that represents man’s responsibility to God.) The servant of Abram, Eliezer, journeyed to Mesopotamia where the God of glory first appeared to Abraham. And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, (Acts 7:2) The bride for Isaac came out of the house of Nahor, the brother of Abraham.

And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. (Genesis 24:14)
And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. (Genesis 24:15)

Remember that this all took place AFTER Abraham was called to offer up Isaac in Genesis 22:8. And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. The search for a bride for Isaac came AFTER the prophetic scene of sacrifice in Genesis 22. AFTER the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary, and AFTER His resurrection, and ascension into the heavens, Christ sent the Holy Spirit into the world to gather a Bride for the Bridegroom.

And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. (Genesis 22:11)
And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. (Genesis 22:12)
And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. (Genesis 22:13)
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. (Genesis 22:14)

In this sacrifice of Isaac that the geographical location that Abraham and Isaac were in previously were directed to the land of Moriah, and one particular mountain of Moriah, later called The place of the Skull, Golgotha, or as we know it today as Calvary. The ram in this thicket was God’s grace to both Abraham and Isaac. The ram was caught by his horns and wrapped around his head was a crown of thorns. Later in history, God’s Son bore a crown of thorns and was beaten without measure. In His distress, His pain, His anguish, He said of His enemies and those who cried for His crucifixion, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. This is where grace and truth were met together in the history of mankind. No one but God can express such mercy in His darkest hour, and yet with a love beyond all understanding He reached out with words of mercy to an unmerciful crowd. Now let us return to Mesopotamia and to Eliezer was the unnamed steward.
In the Old Testament the Spirit of God is mentioned many times. It is quite obvious that He works among men. However, Eliezer, the unnamed steward in Genesis 15:2 was a spiritual type of the Holy Spirit today. The Lord told His disciples, and to us as well in the written word of God, that He would send His Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. The number one priority of the Spirit is TRUTH . . . to lead US as well as past disciples into ALL TRUTH. The Holy Ghost is the invisible personality of the Spirit of Christ searching out of this world a bride for God’s dear Son. When the unnamed servant reached Mesopotamia, he bowed his head and worshiped the LORD. Abraham’s LORD was also the LORD of Eliezer . . . I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.

BEING IN THE WAY
And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. (Genesis 24:26) And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren. (Genesis 24:27)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Notice a degree of parallelism between the first statement by the unnamed steward in Genesis 24:27 as he worshiped the LORD when he said I being in the way and the proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ in His declaration that HE IS THE WAY.

Christ drew attention that there was A WAY . . . THE WAY . . . and the second mention introduced the One who was and is THE WAY. That is the work of the Holy Spirit to introduce and direct man to Christ . . . THE WAY. It is the work of Christ to testify and proclaim Himself as the WAY, the ONLY WAY to God the Father. One (the Holy Spirit) proclaims and leads and the other (Christ) states His Person and Purpose.
This man, being but a steward and servant of Abraham had the equality as the faith of his master. . . . I being in the way. What are we seeing here? The reverent prayer and profession of faith in the way, in the truth and in the life of John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. This servant of Abraham believed that the LORD could lead him to his destination without a map or a GPS, and that the LORD through FAITH could accomplish His will. While the servant was traveling to Mesopotamia, the LORD was already preparing Rebekah for His purpose as a bride for Isaac. She would journey to her bridegroom sight unseen by faith.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (1st Peter 1:8) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.  (1st Peter 1:9)

We do not know exactly how the Spirit of God was working in the heart of Rebekah. However, we know her complete willingness to go to the bridegroom sight unseen believing that he would be her beloved. This is more of sundry times and diverse manners. It is quite evident that the work and the power of the Spirit of God were not only upon Eliezer, the servant, but also upon Rebekah and on the house of Nahor. It was Eliezer who unquestioningly followed the voice of the Spirit of God and was led to a specific location in Mesopotamia by the Spirit’s map of faith. This shows us today how the Holy Ghost fulfills His many tasks on this godless earth calling out a bride for God’s beloved Son, and leading the holy brethren home to Christ and to the Jerusalem which is above, the mother of all the redeemed of the Lord.
Now Abraham’s servant, Eliezer, had a great and long journey to find a bride for the heir of his master Abraham, the son of his father’s love. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; (Ephesians 5:1) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2) Here the Spirit of God describes the sweetsmelling savour of the sacrifice of Christ for us. As He laid down His life for us, we see the journey that we must take through this world back to our Isaac, the Heir of ALL things. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2) After a brief stay at the house of Nahor, the servant of Abraham and Rebekah and the host with them began their long journey back to the land of Canaan. But this time was not wasted for the servant who was faithful told Rebekah all about the son of his master, Isaac.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:17)
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (John 14:18)

We see the promise of Christ . . . I will not leave you . . . I will come to you. We see the unity of the Spirit in the Godhead and this promise of Christ.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16:14)
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16:15)
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. (John 16:16)

Now let us gather around the campfire of the word of God. The Bible is a burning message from God to the sinful hearts of mankind to open a way of salvation by the Spirit of truth. We are born of the Spirit and NOT of the will of man, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13) It is the word of God that gives voice to the Spirit of God to show us all the wonderful truths about our Bridegroom. Throughout the entire journey, through many nighttime campfires, Rebekah listened to the steward uplifting the many excellent qualities within his master’s son and heir Isaac. As she listened, she saw the image of her bridegroom in her heart, soul and spirit.
The Spirit of truth today, although we have not yet entered into the heavenlies, will embrace us with the heavenly truth and will reveal to us the Son of God’s glory, and show us that HE IS HEIR of ALL THINGS. We are instructed by the word of God to listen to the voice of Christ from heaven and not reject His voice.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (Hebrews 12:25)
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)

The promise, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also (John 14:3) includes the voice from above, and the gospel sent down from heaven in the Spirit of Christ and included the presence of the Holy Ghost to give gifts to man. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4) All these things are done for us in the Spirit of grace in the journey that we are taking to our home in the heavenlies, the Jerusalem which is above, the mother of all the redeemed. As the journey of the steward and Rebekah was coming to an end they saw Isaac approaching them as he walked in the field, thus, she lighted off the camel and she took a vail, and covered herself. It was time for Rebekah to leave the old behind, to forget the land far away, the land of idolatry and to enter into a new life with Isaac in his mother’s tent, the Jerusalem which is above all.

And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. (Genesis 24:64)
For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself. (Genesis 24:65)
And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. (Genesis 24:66)
And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death. (Genesis 24:67)

In our journey through the Spirit of God, we have learned of Christ, for even the Lord Jesus told us to learn of Him for He is the center of our life. Although our journey may be long, the Spirit will be realized in His presence in the city of God which is Jerusalem above.
Isaac did not need to show the great wealth of his father to Rebekah, nor did he claim his preeminence as the heir of all things for she was already aware of his position and place. Therefore, the heir of his father’s treasures led Rebekah into his mother’s tent. In all the things that Rebekah heard about the bridegroom: that not only was he the heir of all things, but he was as the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley and the seed of his father’s love she had been prepared by the Spirit of God (Eliezer) to fulfill her role as the bride of promise. Rebekah was greeted, received, and led into the tent of honor, homage, and acceptance.

Sarah’s Tent

As Rebekah entered into Sarah’s tent, she saw the articles of Sarah’s life. The treasures of Sarah were not to be forgotten, and this joined Rebekah with the faith of Sarah. And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, the symbolism is to show us the continuation of God’s plan of redemption, and the work of the Spirit of truth leads Rebekah in the tent of the Jerusalem which is above where the true bride of Christ in garments white and clean will find her rest in the Lord Jesus Christ. The treasures of dear saints, who have gone before us, have left their treasures for us not only through their testimony but their glimpses that God has given to them into heaven itself in the beloved of our soul, the wonder, the majesty, and the glory of the Son of God. As we, the redeemed, walk through this life we must also leave spiritual treasures behind and a testimony of faith to the One who loves us and gave Himself for us.
In Hebrews 11:11 there is no Sarai, only Sarah, and the abundance of Sarah is fulfilled in Isaac. The seed was given through faith, and this puts faith in another light for God inserted both faith and the seed to bring Isaac into the world. We step higher for in Galatians 3:16 the SEED is God’s seed and this comes into play through the faith of both Sarah and Abraham. The article of FAITH comes from the Author of faith the Lord Jesus Christ. He plants the seed of FAITH into the heart. Through His Spirit He leads us through the wilderness of this world by the Spirit of God and enlightens us to all the facets and glories of the Person of Christ. Both the seed given to Sarah and Abraham was the gift of faith.
Man has little understanding of the far-reaching power of faith for it comes from the divine Author the Lord Jesus Christ. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who was the Author of the faith of both Abraham and Sarah. Christ is not only the timekeeper, but He is also the watch maker and the divine time piece records both man’s time and forecasts the future of man. Abraham was as good as dead. The tomb of Abraham’s body had been sealed and there was nothing but death inside, but God is the God of impossibilities, and Jesus Christ, the fullness of the Godhead bodily, there is NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE.

The SUPERNATURAL POWER of God
Attacked – Denied – Rejected

Hebrews 11:11 and 11:12 are meant to harmonize together thus showing the complete power of the God of faith. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. (Hebrews 11:11) Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. (Hebrews 11:12) Through the UNSEEN being unveiled, we not only see time in the Bible, but the future and the UNSEEN and things which are above and things which are IMPOSSIBLE with man are brought forth by the power of God. We are controlled by time in our daily existence, but time itself is dead. It stands still for 9:45 in the morning of this day will never come again. As the clock ticks the seconds disappear into the past and that very second dies and will be no more. So why time? Time has been given to measure man to set a boundary of man’s existence and also to create a log or history of man’s condition in Adam. One day, time will end and there will be time no longer. And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer. (Revelation 10:6) As time ends, the books and records of mankind at the great white throne judgment will be examined on things done while in the flesh or in the time frame of each individual’s life. There is no faith found at the great white throne judgment. The books will be opened so that everything done will be open and bare before the Judge. The final bereavement of the second death for these lost souls is the lake of fire. There is no time line, just travail of the soul for all eternity. Again, I remind you, Luke Chapter 16 not a parable but a real place called hell. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Luke 16:23) Liberal and lost theologians try their best to explain away the reality of hell therefore unveiling that they have NO understanding of the UNSEEN. They do not believe that the Lord of glory has the keys of both death and hell. I fear that many will lift up their eyes toward heaven and see a poor beggar in the bosom of Abraham.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:4)
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (Titus 1:16)

In Jude 4 these men are crafty as the wolf in John 10:12. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. These men of Jude 4 are not open, but they have a hidden agenda to scatter the sheep by taking the name of the Lord Jesus out of preeminence and given their contrived names to the sheep. History has proven this since Constantine divided the sheep. He used the weapon of earthly power to turn the sheep against each other. This is man’s doing and it is sad in our eyes. These men of Jude 4 bring in lasciviousness: they changed the moral code from biblical doctrine against sin to an immoral doctrine of the acceptance of sin. These ungodly men exalt themselves and become the image of jealousy: man exalting himself above the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. These ungodly men creep in as the snake to sever the relationship of the child of God from the Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ. They not only deny the Person of Christ but deny the sonship of all believers that we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ. There are certain verses given by the Holy Spirit to assure us of our sonship IN the Lord Jesus Christ. The one verse that these ungodly individuals like to change is John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. The ungodly remove the words sons and replaces it with the word children. Now, this is amazing because in the first Chapter of the gospel of John, we are introduced to the Son of God for being the beginning, and the first mention in the New Testament of sonship by divine birth is IN John 1:12. Without Sonship there is no Heirship and this is very important because our Heirship is directly related to the Person of Christ. In fact, IF we are NOT sons then we will NOT be like Him, and we will NOT inherit all the treasures of salvation. These theologians of guile and division do not want you to see this divine appointment of joint Heirship in Christ.
We are NOT angels, but sons. We are born of God and taken out of the realm of humanity and to back this up the Spirit of God wrote John 1:13, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. In this verse, the Holy Spirit takes us into the UNSEEN for we are NOT born of blood, NOR of the will of the flesh, NOR of the will of man, BUT OF GOD. We have been declared by God’s own word that we are SONS and JOINT HEIRS with Jesus Christ. Sonship is also seen in 1st John 3:1-3.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1st John 3:1)
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1st John 3:2)
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1st John 3:3)
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:15)

I have a Savior who works in the hearts of man to bring them into the world of the UNSEEN in these last days at the end of the world. Today, the Lord Jesus is calling His redeemed by His Spirit and it is HE and HE ALONE who rules over the written word of God. As He is the Living Word of God and moves all things according to His will and purpose, He uses the WORD of His power to determine those of faith. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3) Those who tamper and pervert Scripture and remove words are as those in the book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament.

Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him. (Jeremiah 36:22)
And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth. (Jeremiah 36:23)
Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. (Jeremiah 36:24)

Why were those men so bold to cut apart Scripture and burn it on the hearth? And why did the Holy Spirit deliberately want us to know that this action of cutting out the words of God and destroying the words of God was performed in the winterhouse and in the ninth month? EVERY WORD, every phrase, every number, every color mentioned in Scripture is for our learning. All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2nd Timothy 3:16)

Mini Side Note: Note the time: in the ninth month. Through the number 9 God instructs us of His completion, the finality of His work. It is the end not only of God’s work, but this number also denotes THE END of man’s evil supremacy. The number nine (9) is the number of conclusions. It is the number of judgment, that all unrighteousness concludes in judgment.  In this number nine we have the conclusion of the whole matter: the matter of evil, the matter of man’s sin, and the matter of man’s judgment.End of Mini Side Note

Their boldness came about through willful ignorance. It was because they KNEW NOT Scripture NOR the power of God. (Matthew 22:29) Today the Greek language is considered a dead language. So therefore, why resurrected it? It is to take light and life out of the word of God. It is more a tool of confusion to the people as these deceptive men and women of the established pulpits insert a word here and a word there and announce to those anxiously waiting for a NEW revelation that ‘in Greek this word really means. Denying the words of the Spirit of God is to deny the Deity of Christ who is the beginning of the creation of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ does not need man to uphold His word. He chooses vessels to expound Scripture in the mind of the Spirit and gives them the understanding from the beginning to the present day.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. (Luke 24:27)
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. (Luke 24:31)
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (Luke 24:32)
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. (Luke 24:44)
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, (Luke 24:45)
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (Luke 24:46)
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:47)
And ye are witnesses of these things. (Luke 24:48)

We are witnesses also to these things. I have seen individuals try to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they failed. I have personally witnessed groups of men trying to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and they utterly failed. Through history, kings and potentates have attempted to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and they all failed. Nations have tried to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and they failed. Religious organizations and denominations have tried to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and they failed. Old and young, male and female, Jew and Gentile have tried to stop the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and they ALL failed. YOU are witnesses to the power of the SOVEREIGN GOD that NO power on earth can stop the heavenly POWER of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The world for more than two thousand years has witnessed the SUPERNATURAL POWER of both the Living Word of God (the Lord Jesus Christ) and the SUPERNATURAL POWER of the written word of God. Ye are witnesses. NOTHING CAN STOP THE GOSPEL of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ will never surrender His Headship over the Church to any living being. Christ alone is THE HEAD of the beginning of the creation of God.  He is THE HEAD over all nations. All nations rise and fall at His command. He is LORD OF ALL. He is HEAD OVER ALL CREATION and ETERNITY . . . He is the FULLNESS of God. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

MALE and FEMALE UNITED in FAITH

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. (Hebrews 11:11)
Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. (Hebrews 11:12)

As we examine the numbers of Hebrews 11:11 and 11:12, history unfolds through Abraham and Sarah. Faith through and in their descendants stretches days into eternity. We see for the first time since the Garden that God unites faith in both man and woman. What Adam and Eve divided, Sarah and Abraham were united in FAITH to do their part in the promises and plans of God. When Noah passed out of this world, FAITH went with him. God stayed His hand of faith until He sought out Abram. Abram was not looking for God that day: it was God who was looking for Abram. God appeared to Abram in all HIS glory. And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran. (Acts 7:2) Faith had been removed from the earth. The sons of Noah had NO faith, for not all men have faith.

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (2nd Thessalonians 3:2)
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. (2nd Thessalonians 3:3)
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. (2nd Thessalonians 3:4)
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. (2nd Thessalonians 3:5)

Remember the promise of the Lord to the children of faith. He promised I will come to you . . . and this is still being fulfilled in the hearts of the redeemed. He will direct you heart which is the center of your being. As the Lord Jesus is the beginning of the creation of God, this includes that He is the LORD of all light and life. He is the TRUE divine witness of truth, and with His voice from heaven will lead every child of God into all truth. These Scriptures reminds us of His present position and what He is capable of.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; (Revelation 3:14)

The Scriptures prove the personal relationship of the child of God with Christ. He is not only their SOVEREIGN, but He is their Great High Priest who stands as an Intercessor for them at the throne of God. He is able to direct your heart through a relationship that the world cannot understand. He has changed you and given you a new heart, a heart of the Spirit and not of flesh. By His own Spirit, He has given you life and freed you from The Law of Sin and Death. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
We have all these treasures of faith in an earthen vessel along with the love of Christ comes the love of the written word of God. Remember . . . at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that Satan took away the word of God. As he questioned Eve, the forked tongue of deception and lies also questioned the credibility of God . . . Hath God said? Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Genesis 3:1) God had said, in the day that thou eatest of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt surely die. This was The Law of Sin and Death which we are delivered from in Romans 8:2.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: (Genesis 2:16)
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17)

Adam was COMMANDED by His Creator, and yet, both Adam and Eve turned to the words of Satan . . . Ye shall not surely die.

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Genesis 3:3)
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Genesis 3:4)
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:5)

Satan took away the word of God and substituted his own words in place of the words of God, and he has continued to do this throughout the history of man. How many times has Satan spoken from the pulpits of ungodly men and unholy, disobedient women, denying the word of God and substituting the words of corruption for divine truth? The LIE at the tree was just the beginning of the deception of Satan in the realm of mankind. The heart of this fallen disgraced cherub is full of hatred for God. There is NO limit of his enmity against God. It is a burning fire and fever in his twisted heart. So, it is NOT a great thing that man in Adam follows the same subtleties as his father the devil. John 8:44 has a wide reaching range for it not only included the men at the temple, but it reaches ALL men in Adam, God DROVE Adam and Eve from the garden. This separation represented the absence of communion with God. Man surrendered his soul to the devil and became a child of the devil and could now only be redeemed by and through FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why today the number one thing is to take away the Divine Man, the God Man Jesus Christ, to remove the truth of the word of God and to twist the words into a LIE. The devil is a master craftsman in deception. This deception that he employs today is mightier than his sword of the past.
As we consider Rebekah and her journey, the servant of Abraham told her all things concerning Isaac. When the Lord expounded the word of God of those on the Emmaus Road, the authority of those words was that it burned in their hearts. When it came time for Abraham to find a bride for his son, he would NOT choose one from the children around him, so he sent his servant to find a bride for his son. It is quite evident that the servant knew the path and the way of faith, for he said, I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren. When the servant returned with Rebekah, notice that we hear no more of this faithful servant.
Isaac becomes the center of Rebekah’s desire. The heir to all the wealth and riches of Abraham took Rebekah into his mother’s tent. This is where future heirs of the promises will come forth. To make it plain: Sarah’s tent speaks of the Jerusalem, which is above, the mother of all the redeemed. The Heir of all things abides in all of His glory, yet He and He alone can share His own glory with the redeemed. The words of I IN THEM, and that we MAY BE ONE in Him is the umbilical cord of our salvation.

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:21)
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 17:22)
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (John 17:23)

Read these words with the heart of the unity of the fullness of the Godhead bodily. If you cannot embrace the SUPERNATURAL in these words, then you have a big problem. Looking on the outside of Sarah’s tent it NOT the same as being IN the tent. Rebekah had never seen Isaac before, it was the faithful servant who had led her back to his master’s realm. There in the tent of Sarah, Rebekah’s eyes were opened for she saw him as he was, and so our eyes will be opened when we see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isaac was born of the Spirit. (Galatians 4) This is only a shadow of the Heir of all things. The heavenly HEIR is our Lord Jesus Christ. After He revealed His glory to His disciples on what mankind calls the mount of transfiguration, the Spirit of God made this comment: they saw no man, save Jesus only . . . . they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. (Matthew 17:8)
And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. (Mark 9:8)

Sometimes in sundry times and in diverse manners the Spirit of God wants to direct our eyes and our hearts in the proper direction. He eliminates all that is around us, and we see JESUS ONLY. We see Him as the Lord of glory, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning of the creation of God. Imagine all that had transpired around Peter, James and John, as the Spirit of God gives us those final words, they saw no man, save Jesus only. Yet through all of man’s religious garb, and through all of man’s religious works the high church in Rome and all sanctimonious cults cannot say that they see Jesus only. All the works of man get in the way. The grand buildings, the spires, all the traditions and the will of man blinds their eyes and their hearts to the reality of the Person of Jesus Christ. Their ears become closed to the words of truth, this is why the Spirit of God in Revelation 3:14 informs us that there is only ONE true witness of God and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.
When the Spirit of God speaks to our hearts, He only has one objective: to glorify the Son of God in all truth. In Hebrews 11:11, it is NOT the nature of mankind but the Supernatural nature of God . . . out of deadness and corruption God brought and brings life. In this verse we also see the state of mankind. The first woman was in transgression. Her womb was made dead to all spiritual life in God. The man who brought sin into the world, also became dead to God. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. (Hebrews 11:12) The Spirit of God shows us that Abraham in Adam was also dead to God, for Adam brought sin into the world and death came in to destroy man. It was death by sin, the seed of death from sin that alienated all of mankind from God. All were put under The Law of Sin and Death.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17)

In Romans 8:2 we have the aftermath of sin and death. The cure for the plague is given to us in the Spirit of life IN Christ Jesus. In Genesis 2:17 we have the counsel and foreknowledge of God declaring to man the result of the consequences of disobeying God. To say that ALL MEN are not contaminated by a sin nature is a lie. The seed of Adam became the seed of Satan and Adam’s father’s end result was to destroy mankind. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44) This verse is the Spirit’s voice to all of mankind. All who have been born of a woman are under The Law of Sin and Death. They have the true character of their father the devil, which all the brilliant minds have not yet figured out: that sin is IN the seed, therefore, it is transmitted to all of mankind under The Law of Sin and Death.
In Genesis Chapter 6 we have a witness of the word of God that it was the daughters of men who lured the sons of God away from the Almighty God. Here again we see the nature of Adam in the sons of God giving way to the daughters of men. It was Eve who transgressed. She is the one who passed the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil to Adam. Adam freely took that fruit and partook of it, and in that act he lost all of his freedom and became a slave and a subject to sin.
Genesis Chapter 6 is also a witness of a world under Satan’s control. As Revelation Chapter 13 is where The Beast, the man of sin, will sit down on Satan’s throne. All the witnesses around us are rapidly revealing that we are reaching out to this point in sundry times and in diverse manners when all men will look to The Beast and his false prophet and their technology as God. The Beast will be the promoter of sin and AI will be the promoter of The Beast. As the man of sin sits upon the throne of sin, he will show himself and falsely claim all the rights of God.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2nd Thessalonians 2:3)
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2nd Thessalonians 2:4)
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? (2nd Thessalonians 2:5)
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. (2nd Thessalonians 2:6)
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (2nd Thessalonians 2:7)
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2nd Thessalonians 2:8)
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (2nd Thessalonians 2:9)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2nd Thessalonians 2:10)

~

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelations 12:9)

~

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. (Revelations 13:2)
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Revelations 13:3)
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (Revelations 13:4)
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (Revelations 13:5)
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Revelations 13:6)
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelations 13:7)
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelations 13:18)

In 2nd Thessalonians the great falling away is the confusion and the deception of evil men to take away the true witness of the word of God. In Psalm 119 it is recorded that before the face of God is His written word, and it is settled in heaven. The written word of God, Scripture, is the final manuscript of His true testimony to mankind, therefore, we are told to search the word of God for truth because only within its pages can truth be found. However, in the day in which we live, deception and putting AWAY the true word of God has become Satan’s objective to destroy the true witness of the Spirit of God, who claims and is TRUE in the words, thy word is true. Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever. (Psalm 119:160)This relates to the LAST testament on earth that reflects that which is settled in heaven.
In Revelation Chapter 13, we see The Beast, and in 2nd Thessalonians that beast is the man of sin. Satan unveils, after many millenniums, the true character which Adam became when at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. One of the names of the coming Beast is also known as ‘the man of sin,’ this phrase is also the title of Adam when he was at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. How fitting that Adam finally receives his true name . . . the man of sin. As Satan, at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, took away the true word of God, he has now, through the course of time, built his own tree where true knowledge cannot be found. Satan spearheaded man into the iniquitous realm of evil and sin where the current men of this world insatiably feeds on unbridled evil.
All liberals and the schools of liberalism have refused truth. They dwell under the evil throne of Satan. The words strong delusion in 2nd Thessalonians describes the insanity and the mind set of liberalism today. Satan, at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, made a statement that he could not keep, Ye shall not surely die. However, God KEPT His word that in that fatal day that thou shalt partake of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt surely die. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17) At birth, the first breath of life begins the journey of both sin and death that Adam brought into the world.
In Hebrews 11:11, we see the death of Genesis 3. It is the death in Sarah’s womb. Also, in Hebrews 11:12 we see death in Abraham’s seed. In Genesis 24, we see the God of glory, the God of faith, the ONE and true God, who is the Author of all faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, giving Abraham a promise that He will eternally KEEP not only in Abraham’s life time but through the history of man and through the door of eternity in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him. (Genesis 17:19) The PROMISED heir in Isaac was given his name by the Almighty and he was and will yet be the joy of Abraham. This shows a far reaching prophecy in sundry times and in diverse manners, that in the fullness of time, God will send a divine Seed, that holy thing, that holy child, that Holy One, and thou shalt call His name Jesus. He will be that promised Seed of resurrection that will fulfill ALL the promises that were given to Abraham, and to all those of faith. Those who believe in Him (past, present and future) SHALL NEVER DIE. They shall merely be transported from one life to another life . . . . sundry times and diverse manners.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25)
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:26)

In Genesis 24 we have a wonderful ending, it is Rebekah, the bride IN the tent of Sarah with her prince, Isaac. Is this not a view of our final resting place with our Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ? We never read a phrase about Rebekah coming out of the tent. It is almost a window for us: that this was her final resting place. As we look forward to passing into the city above in the place of our Prince of peace, the Lord Jesus Christ, we must rest in our thoughts and let our hearts find a place in this wonderful tent of eternity, the city of our God. I think that this is a good place to end this article . . . thinking of the tent above, Jerusalem, which is above, the city of our God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen and Selah.

I’ll see you again in sundry times and in diverse manners.
