Noah and the New Earth – Part 2 –

Noah and the New Earth
(Hebrews 11:7)

Part 2

The Battle Between Good and Evil Continues

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. (Genesis 8:21)
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. (Genesis 8:22)

God’s Heart and the Heart of Man

The cleansing of the earth was complete, but the world of the heart of man was and is still in the old world. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. (Genesis 8:21) God always wants to inform man that our Creator STILL LOOKS on the HEARTS of all of mankind. If we understand this, we would then see that the old world that Noah left would be continued in the cleansed earth with the uncleansed sins of Noah’s sons. Look at Psalm 24:1. The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. This is God’s division. The new earth of Noah’s day WAS and IS STILL the Lord’s. It is HIS creation, and HE alone will determine when He will give the earth up.
The division brings in the world of man. Noah stood on the ground that had been cleansed by the waters of the flood; yet, in the flesh, Noah’s sons and their wives still belonged to the old world. Although the Lord had delivered them, the old heart of man was NEITHER renewed nor cleansed in the renewed and cleansed new world.
The world of man presents a question to us, What is man? They all (eight souls) had come through the flood, but seven souls were not changed.  Noah was the LAST ONE who had been changed IN THE OLD WORLD THROUGH FAITH and had obtained heirship and God’s righteousness through the more excellent sacrifice.
When Noah’s children stepped into the new world, they still belonged to the old world. Noah saw the new earth as a haven of rest from the past evil world that had perished. Noah, being the LAST MAN of faith in the old world, became the FIRST MAN of faith in the new world, and thus, in his role as the heir of righteousness, he offered a burnt offering up to God. And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. (Genesis 8:20)

And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, (Leviticus 1:1)
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. (Leviticus 1:2)
If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD. (Leviticus 1:3)
And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. (Leviticus 1:4)
And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. (Leviticus 1:5)
And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. (Leviticus 1:6)
And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: (Leviticus 1:7)
And the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: (Leviticus 1:8)
But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. (Leviticus 1:9)

Faith in the More Excellent Sacrifice

Here is the understanding of FAITH. Noah walked with God before the flood. This shows his obedience to God. In Noah’s path of FAITH, he understood the divine sacrifice of righteousness. Although he lived in the path BEFORE the cross, his Creator had shown him the FULL path of FAITH in the more excellent sacrifice. Noah ALSO understood while in the old world God’s sanctification and God’s justification.

In Genesis Chapter 8 there are NO instructions given to Noah by God concerning the sacrifices. Herein we see the understanding of Noah for Noah KNEW that this new earth HAD TO BE SANCTIFIED through the BLOOD of the sacrifice to God. This confirms that Noah, the last man of FAITH in the old world, had ties all the way back to Seth and Abel IN THE MORE EXCELLENT SACRIFICE which IN CHRIST is the crimson cord of God’s righteousness. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. In verse 21 of Genesis 8 we see God’s acceptance of that sacrifice for the Lord smelled that sweet savour. God looked on the sacrifice of Noah as a foreshadow of the sacrifice of His beloved Son on the cross of Calvary yet to come when God would shed HIS blood for the sin of the whole world. His satisfaction in Noah’s sacrifice was magnified by the foreknowledge of being satisfied in His beloved Son in the sacrifice of HIM who was most precious to the Father.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2)

God also reminds us of the heart of man. As it was deceitful then and desperately wicked it is STILL deceitful and STILL desperately wicked. This has followed man and will continue to follow man through the entire history of mankind. It is the black and ugly thread of sin that followed them from the old earth to the new earth, from the old world to the new world. Here we have a good example of the new wine in old bottles.  The earth being the new, and man, the same old man, being of the old world.
The exception, of course, was Noah. He was still that same preacher of righteousness, and was justified before God, he was an heir of righteousness which linked Noah to God’s Son who is the righteousness of God in the MORE EXCELLENT SACRIFICE.

Neither do men put newly wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. (Matthew 9:17)

The corruption of the old world would ferment in the sins of Noah’s sons because of the SAME OLD HEART of deceit that came from the old world.

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5)
And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. (Genesis 8:21)

God reinforces the wickedness of the heart in Genesis 8:21. Here is revealed the sin in ALL of mankind. God was giving them a NEW and WASHED CLEAN earth. He also gave them a godly covenant NOT dependent on man BUT this covenant did have conditions that they would NOT shed man’s blood.

But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. (Genesis 9:4) And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. (Genesis 9:5) Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. (Genesis 9:6)

God reminded them that HE WAS THEIR CREATOR and that what He created out of dust was precious to Him and although man had completely given up God in the old world, God kept FAITH alive in His servant Noah.

Understanding the Reality of the Old World
They Were Warned of the Coming Judgment

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Also, in Genesis 8:22 the Lord set a time, NOT A DATE, but a time period for the earth through the words, While the earth remaineth. We are swiftly approaching the END of THIS EARTH. History of the old earth and the old man will be erased and done away with by the fires of God. As God looks down today, the heart of man has not changed, and man will be the finality of Adamkind. This world, the earth, will be removed by FIRE, and this fire will consume all of the first creation.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2nd Peter 3:7)
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (2nd Peter 3:8)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2nd Peter 3:9)
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2nd Peter 3:10)
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, (2nd Peter 3:11)
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2nd Peter 3:12)
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2nd Peter 3:13)
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (2nd Peter 3:14)
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (2nd Peter 3:15) (These verses allow us more understanding in the message of Noah’s preaching that he preached God’s righteousness through the crucifixion of Christ on Calvary.)

In the days of Noah God was long suffering. For a hundred years the incredulous world watched Noah build the ark, yet they would not repent because of the hardness of their hearts. God is also long suffering since the days of Noah in the new earth. Even after giving His Son and revealing the complete divine revelation of God’s plan and purpose in the glorious salvation through the Son of His love, the Lord Jesus Christ, man’s heart still remains blackened by the evil and dark heart of sin and iniquity. Man refuses the LIGHT of God’s dear Son, and not only dwells IN the darkness, but LOVES the darkness and HATES the light of Christ. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (John 3:20)
In the divine sphere of love, God is longsuffering to usward. Our world is walking in the sins and MORE SINS than the antediluvian world. In Romans Chapter 1 we have a list of man’s sin and iniquity AGAINST God and AGAINST himself. Where does murder come from? It comes from SIN in a heart that is desperately wicked. All through the time and history of Adamkind, we see this rebellion AGAINST God and man AGAINST man. The world that then existed was WARNED of a coming judgment by God though the preaching of Noah.
Noah KNEW what was approaching all of the mankind, consequently THIS world should greatly FEAR knowing that their days are also numbered and God, one day, will dissolve the earth with fire, but NOT ONLY the earth, BUT the heavens also. They will be dissolved, and He will create a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH wherein righteousness will dwell, and righteousness in the Lord Jesus Christ as He sits upon His throne with the scepter of righteousness.
All this will be the completion of the great transaction that took place in the fullness of time at the cross of Calvary for the old man, Adam, was destroyed in the words of the Savior, It is finished. These three words are written over the history of Adamkind. These words embrace yesterday, today and forever. The entire history of man in Adam takes in ALL of yesterday, the new covenant, or testament in the Testator’s death, and the seal of His resurrection.

MAN HAS NO POWER OVER GOD

Think how accurate the word of God is. The Roman government, the most powerful authority of their day and age, crucified the LORD of glory, crucified their own Creator, crucified the will of God (the Testator); then sealed His testament with the seal of Rome. There was no power on earth that could break that seal, however, that seal also spoke as a witness against God, for Christ had declared that He would come forth from that dark chamber of death and that He would be raised in the newness of life. ALL earthly power denied the Son of God IN HIS LIFE and IN HIS DEATH, but ask yourself, What is man? The seal of Rome was broken by one angel of God sent down from heaven to reveal to man that MAN HAS NO POWER OVER GOD. As one angel silenced a hundred and eighty-five-thousand soldiers of Sennacherib in the days of Hezekiah, so one angel showed to the whole world that ONLY God has the power of LIFE AND DEATH.

It is neither man not Satan that has the POWER of LIFE and DEATH because in the resurrection of Jesus Christ we have the witness of God that Christ has the POWER of an ENDLESS LIFE. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16)

Understanding the Scriptures
From the Beginning to the End

The angel spoke the words of truth, HE IS NOT HERE, HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD. The Lord Himself gave a witness of His own resurrection. It is His testament in the word of God. He is the Testator and the Testament of a new life. When we are born of His Spirit, we have a new life, we no longer belong to the world, but to Christ and heaven. We have a new heart, and a new spirit, and a restored soul. That seal of Rome was broken to reveal ALL the blessings of the Testator.

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (Hebrews 9:16)
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. (Hebrews 9:17)
Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. (Hebrews 9:18)
For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, (Hebrews 9:19)
Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. (Hebrews 9:20)
Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. (Hebrews 9:21)
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22)
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (Hebrews 9:23)
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (Hebrews 9:24)
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; (Hebrews 9:25)
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Hebrews 9:26)
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:28)

In the world of Roman power each testament or will were sealed with a wax seal of the powers to be, and this seal could neither be opened nor broken until the testator’s death. When the Roman seal was broken on the Lord’s tomb, it was broken by divine authority and the resurrected Man, Christ Jesus, became the voice of both the Old and New testament. In the gospel of Luke, the Lord Himself in His resurrected image proclaimed . . . And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. (Luke 24:44)

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, (Luke 24:45) And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (Luke 24:46) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:47) And ye are witnesses of these things. (Luke 24:48)

Here is the complete authority of the Testator over all the Scriptures and over the powers of man: the power over sin and death, the power over the works of the devil.

Christ reminded them of ALL the Scriptures and began with Moses, and remember, that Moses gave us the first words in Genesis . . . In the beginning God. From that point onward, Moses, through the Spirit of Christ, and other man through the Spirit of Christ, began the progressive revelation of God. We are blessed to have this book, THE WORD OF GOD in its completion to show us not only the beginning but the end of man’s history as well, and the divine Seed of salvation of Jesus Christ our Lord. This resurrected Man, who by the way is in heaven for us today. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) He is our wonderful Savior, He is our divine Counselor, He is and will ever be our ALMIGHTY GOD, as He is IN the Father and the Father IN Him, HE IS THE EVERLASTING FATHER and the PRINCE OF PEACE for He has made peace with God for us. This resurrected MAN has been given power over both heaven and earth. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18)
As we read the word of God, and God unrolls His scroll of time to us, the Spirit of Christ within us leads us into ALL TRUTH. We hear the voice of His Spirit as the complete testament of truth from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. Through these pages, the scroll of time, the seal of mystery is broken, and ALL THE TRUTH of the glorious LIGHT of Christ comes forth in a new and living way. The windows of heaven are open and the manna is there for us to feed upon. The word of God is our breath and our life. We remind ourselves that man does not live by bread alone.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. (Luke 4:4)

As God gave breath to Adam, and Adam became a living soul, so through the breath of the Spirit of Christ and His word, we have become the children of God, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ as sons of God.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:7)

Understanding Heirship and Righteousness

Now we, the children of God, as Noah, have received heirship in the righteousness of God. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7) In Hebrews 11:7 God leaves the greater part for last. IT IS HEIRSHIP and Noah through heirship stood in the righteousness of God.
It was through FAITH and by FAITH that Noah walked with God. It was by FAITH that Noah received the grace of God. It was by FAITH that Noah received heirship of God’s righteousness. What a sequence of faith! As we see in Romans 1:17, from faith to faith. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. When looking at Noah’s life and the testimony in the word of God OF his life, we see a sequential FAITH, from FAITH to FAITH. The disciples asked the Lord to increase their faith, thus, showing that FAITH has dimension as Hebrews 11:1 informs us that FAITH IS A SUBSTANCE, a tangible object that God places in our hearts and without that tangible faith we cannot please God.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Do you see the sequence of FAITH? It is in those who diligently seek Him. By faith they believe that God is TRUE, and every man is a liar. By FAITH, through the word of God, they DILIGENTLY, from faith to faith, seek Him and the goodness of His love towards them.
Divine righteousness can ONLY COME from the ONE who holds ALL righteousness in the scepter of His love. This embraces the ONENESS, the completeness and the fullness of the Godhead bodily. In Colossians 2:9, the word bodily has a character of more than oneness which is completely revealed in Scripture as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Simultaneously ALL three acts in unison in ONE divine manifestation of the Father IN the Son, the Son IN the Father and the Holy Ghost IN embracing the whole, for God IS SPIRIT, and they that worship God must worship Him in Spirit and truth. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
When we use the word righteousness, it must always point to God’s dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7) The entire Godhead embraced righteousness in God’s Son. The throne of righteousness is established in the Son. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8) Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Hebrews 1:9) The throne of righteousness is forever, and to show its full regal power, the Lord Jesus holds the scepter of righteousness in His right hand.

He is the SON of righteousness with healing in His wings showing the loftiness of His righteousness throughout all eternity. Those who love Him hide under the wings of His eternal life for He has loved us in that righteousness unto the death of the cross. In Matthew 3:15 we have a verse with divine dimension. And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. We are at the river Jordan. John had been baptizing multitudes in the river of death. The baptism symbolized the giving up of ones life and being raised in a new life or a resurrected life for God. When the Lord Jesus came, John was well aware of who He was, for John KNEW that Christ was before him, and that John was merely a servant of HIS ministry. When John exclaimed, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? Matthew 3:14, he was expressing his knowledge that the ONE before him WAS and IS the power of resurrection. When the Lord Jesus spoke the words, it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness, He embraced NOT only baptism in the Jordan, but the baptism of the cross. At that point He MUST in His divine power FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS so that He, in the power of His death, could bring forth a NEW RACE and give them life in HIMSELF.
The full parameters of God’s righteousness reach all the way back to Abel in the witness of a more excellent sacrifice. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (Hebrews 11:4) The word more in Hebrews 11:4 not only connects the 15th verse of Matthew Chapter 3, but it reaches far greater in the Lamb that was slain from the foundations of the world. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8) All the sacrifices in the Old Testament were building blocks to the more excellent sacrifice on the cross at Calvary. Abel was made righteous through the more excellent sacrifice as a foreshadow of Christ on the cross at Calvary. As we look back to that cross, and that more excellent sacrifice, we are made, by Christ, righteous IN Him. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (1st Corinthians 1:30) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (1st Corinthians 1:31)

FAITH is a Substance
The SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST

Remember that we began with FAITH. FAITH is the ring of sonship from Abel through Noah to our present day in the more excellent sacrifice. The Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. He has the RIGHT to pen our names in His book of life. He has the RIGHT, as the Author, to initiate our FAITH for without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please Him. Noah was lovingly cradled with the ONLY faith that man can have. FAITH has not evolved, but it has been consistent from Abel onward in the children of God. In Hebrews 11:7, the word heir is directly connected with the Son of God for it is HE who is ALL righteousness, and it is HE who is the SON, the HEIR.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:15)
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (Romans 8:16)
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:17)
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19)
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (Galatians 4:5) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:7)
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2)

God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost wrapped the whole of His divine word in the parameters of FAITH.

The phrase heir of righteousness in Hebrews 11:7 shows a direct connection with the Son of God, for the Lord Jesus is the HEIR of ALL things. It also shows that God saw this HEIRSHIP not only in Noah but all those who have embraced God’s righteousness through FAITH IN the Son of God. As we are heirs of God, we are brought IN under the Heir of All Things which is Christ. God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost wrapped the whole of His divine word in the parameters of FAITH. For FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The word of God unfolds the mystery of the UNSEEN. These divine words are the spiritual ladders that ascend up to God and descend down from God. Not one jot nor one tittle will fall to the ground for the word of God is settled in heaven FOREVER. It is in the Library of God’s Righteousness defended and upheld by the Living Word IN the Son of man in heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ. As the Heir of All Things, the word of God that you hold in your hand is NOT yours, it does NOT belong to earth, it belongs to heaven and to God’s dear Son. He created His word to give us divine comfort through the Scriptures to show us His creatorial power NOT only in material things, but IN spiritual things as well.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2)
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (Colossians 1:15) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:17)
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; (Revelation 3:14)

Do you see the crimson thread of FAITH passing through those verses? In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, (In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1) and then we see that Christ IS THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD. We also see that IN the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)

In Colossians 2:9, we see Jesus as the GODHEAD BODILY. As we have seen, this phrase entwines and blends together God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost in the BODY that was prepared for the Son of God. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (Hebrews 10:5) This UNITY cannot be explained by mortals. Since God has a determinate counsel, there must be more than one in His counsel. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: (Acts 2:23) The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. (Psalm 33:11) The Godhead will always remain a mystery to mortals. It is NOT up to us to divide the Being that has created us. He is revealing who WE are and what WE need from HIM, and that is salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son.
When Ezekiel saw the wheel within the wheel, he never gave an explanation of its meaning and there is still a mystery surrounding Ezekiel’s vision. However, there is one thing that we can determine and that there was a MAN, and that MAN was from heaven, and that is the same MAN who came to earth and was manifested in the likeness of man to give Himself on the cross at Calvary. When the Lord Jesus walked upon the earth, Christ referred to His words as the words that the Father had given Him. He referred to His works and miracles as the works that the Father had given Him to do. He also declared that He was IN the Father and that the Father was within Him. In John 14 and 17 He referred to the words that He spoke as the words of the Holy Father, and at the river Jordan, God the Father proclaimed from heaven, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Can you explain this mystery? Only FAITH can embrace this.
Three times the heavens were opened and God the Father spoke and testified of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. There at the river Jordan, God the Father, found pleasure and was pleased with His beloved Son. On the mount of transfiguration, the most holy mount, this was where Moses received the two stones, written upon by the finger of God. That was where Elijah heard the whispering voice of the Spirit of God. This has been a place of thundering and lightning. In the day of Elijah, the rocks quaked and there was a mighty wind as God passed by in His fire, and NOW, this is the place where the Son of God revealed His glory to Peter, James and John. While the Law in Moses and the prophets as Elijah looked on to see the same glory revealed to the three men on the holy mount. Not only was this God’s beloved Son, but they were to listen to Him, hear ye Him. For it was Christ who had the words of Spirit and life.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (2nd Peter 1:16)
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (2nd Peter 1:17)
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. (2nd Peter 1:18)
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (2nd Peter 1:19)

The Holy Ghost was sent down from heaven with the gospel to reveal to the sons of God this grand and wonderful salvation. To have the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ within our feeble beings give us the jubilee of freedom from sin. One can say, My beloved is mine and I am His. (Song of Songs 2:16) It is the voice of the Spirit who reveals the true wonder of Galatians 2:20 and the outcome in Galatians 6:14 and 15.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Galatians 6:14) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. (Galatians 6:15)

The World Proclaimed the JUST MAN Guilty
and the UNJUST MAN Blameless

It is through the strength of the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ that by FAITH we can say goodbye to the world, and the world through the crucifixion of our Lord can say goodbye to us. It was man who cast out of this world the Lord of glory, the Prince of life. Man settled for the devil’s corn and the devils’ man Barabbas, who followed the footsteps of Cain, shedding the blood of man, for Barabbas was of the wicked one, and his domain was one of rebelliousness full of sin and evil. But Barabbas did not stand alone. The counsels of man, speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ, declared, We will not have this man to reign over us. (Luke 19:14) Their hearts were so engulfed with enmity and hatred that their vision was blurred in the things of God and there was NO fear of God within them. Before Pilate the people condemned themselves AND their children concerning the blood of Christ. Their united voices with the devil as their master declared Let his blood be on us, and on our children. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. (Matthew 27:25) Then they capped it with their own headstone in the words, Crucify him. Crucify him. But they cried, saying, Crucify [him], crucify him. (Luke 23:21)

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. (Matthew 27:22) And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. (Matthew 27:23)

Pilate stood before a jeering crowd and explained to them that he found NO FAULT in this JUST man. Yet, for the press of the crowd, and the fear of man, Pilate condemned He who was Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father and the Prince of peace. After Pilate had condemned the JUST ONE Pilate sought to wash his hands, yet they would never be cleansed of this MAN’S blood. As long as the earth remains, the blood of the Lord Jesus will speak loudly from the ground just as the blood of Abel cried out. For the blood of Christ left its mark and stain on an ungodly world, and ALL need to pay attention to Hebrews 10:29. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
God describes in detail this scene before Pilate. It is given for our understanding and learning. God brings before us the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the rulers of the Jews, and then the Spirit of God says to us, AND ALL THE PEOPLE, Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. (Matthew 27:25) We ask this question, What is IN man that without a second of thought man will condemn himself AND his children? This is one of the most profound requests ever made by man in the Scriptures. God was standing in the court of Rome, and they, being full of enmity and hatred, not only condemned the Lord Jesus, but CONDEMNED themselves and their children. And their requested condemnation is still being fulfilled in Israel today, as it has been fulfilled since ALL the people cried out before God. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. (Matthew 27:25) AND ALL THE PEOPLE, this was the circumference of the Holy Spirit, as long as you belong to Adam’s race, the sin and iniquity within you will cry out as the Jews cried out, it is ONLY THROUGH FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ that you can receive the grace of God. This grace comes from the crucified One who was condemned by Pilate, the Roman government and ALL THE PEOPLE. It is only through the Lord Jesus, the Son of God’s love, that you can be adorned by the love of God which is beyond all understanding. It is by FAITH that we believe, and it is through FAITH that we diligently seek Him. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Through Faith we are made Heirs and Sons

As we examine the life of Noah, we see the evidence of a man diligently seeking after God and walking with God. In the 7th verse of Hebrews Chapter 11, we behold the third man mentioned with the introduction of, By faith. When the great flood came, Noah passed through that flood and was placed upon a new earth as a type of resurrection on the THIRD DAY. Each one of these three men (Abel, Enoch, Noah) is introduced by the Holy Ghost with the words. By faith.
In Abel we learn that he has MADE righteous through the more excellent sacrifice. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (Hebrews 11:4)
In Enoch we see the far reaching of the prophetic word of God: yesterday, today and forever. We also see the translation of the righteous. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5)
In Noah we see God’s hand in preservation and for the heirs of salvation, and joint heirs with Christ. We see the proof of heirship in Noah, for God also sent down the Spirit of His Son into the heart of Noah. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7) Noah’s FAITH was the tangible presence of the Son of God WITHIN. And for us today, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts to seal that heirship and that God can call us, the sons of God. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) The Spirit of God gives this verse to confirm our heirship and our sonship. It is thus sealed forever by the Spirit of Christ. We also have the marvelous words of the Lord Jesus in His most holy prayer to the Father in Chapter 17 of the gospel of John. In verses 21 and 22, the Lord draws the unity with His Father and the unity of Himself and the unity of those whom God has given to Him. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:21) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 17:22) This might be a good time to take a break and open your Bible to John 17 and read the entire Chapter.
Now, aren’t you glad that you did what I requested? Can you prove to yourself that you have the Spirit of God in your heart? Are you one of His own? And I want you to pay attention to the last verse of John 16, be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

What is the difference between the last verse in John 16 and John 17? In John Chapter 16 the Lord Jesus is finalizing the world, He has overcome the world. In John 17, we are transported into heaven through the high priestly prayer of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the GODHEAD there is always a presence with the Father, and the Holy Ghost, and the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whether in heaven or on earth. This unity cannot be broken. We have the same unity as we see in 1st John 2:20. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. This unction in the Person of the Holy Ghost is the SAME HOLY GHOST that leads us into all truth. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1st John 2:27) This is an anointing which ye have received as a holy oil that Moses placed on Aaron. This is received by the Holy Ghost who was symbolized by that oil. Now read verse 29, If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. This completes the heirship of righteousness. The SAME heirship that Noah had as heir of righteousness and the SAME righteousness that WE, the sons of God, receive from the Father THROUGH His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (1st Corinthians 1:30) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (1st Corinthians 1:31)

The Son of God is MADE unto us wisdom, and righteousness. We are sanctified IN Him, and in His fullness, we are redeemed from the lost estate of Adam into a new creature outside of the will of man. We have been adopted by the MOST HOLY GOD and brought into a family relationship by Jesus Christ our Lord. It is through Christ who has been anointed with the oil of gladness that we are anointed by the Spirit of grace. Through this holy oil of gladness, we have been made priests before our God as the Son of God has been made higher than the heavens. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:16) In our relationship of priests before our God, we are brought into His presence of His holiness higher than the heavens.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (1st Peter 2:9)
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:6)

Understanding that in the Fullness of Time Christ
was the More Excellent Sacrifice

As Abel acquired the righteousness of God through the more excellent sacrifice, so Noah was heir of righteousness through that same excellent sacrifice. These ALL were a sweet savor to God. God’s great counsel through His word not only displays His foreknowledge but His will and purpose as the history of mankind unfolds. At that end of this age, God has brought us into this foreknowledge as we see the world through the evil heart of man being turned upside down.
Noah trusted in the sacrifice of God. As God warned Noah, he moved with fear for God had shown Noah His foreknowledge of the great epic that was about to take place. Just as the Lord Jesus has shown us when He proclaimed that at the end of the age the world would be in the exact same circumstances as in the days of Noah.

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (1st Peter 1:2)
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2).

As Noah looked forward to the cross of Christ and the more excellent sacrifice, it would take a NEW earth to fulfill the more excellent sacrifice for the OLD earth had been completely corrupted.

And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. (Genesis 8:20)

From Abel to our present day, that sweet savor of Christ has NOT CHANGED. Christ is the SAME yesterday, today and forever. Only God could fulfill ALL time according to His will and purpose. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (Galatians 4:4). Christ came in the fulness of time as a parenthesis of yesterday, today and forever. As we look back to Christ, we enjoy ALL the blessings in the purpose and will of God for us in the present day. When we consider yesterday back to Abel, we see that their eyes looked FORWARD to that same fullness of time. As we patiently wait for the Lord, we say in our hearts, Even so, come Lord Jesus. Noah and ALL those of FAITH in the Old Testament look FORWARD to the coming of the great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
In that fullness of time, Christ offered His soul as a sweetsmelling savor to His Father for us in His most excellent sacrifice. The word sweetsmelling is only used ONE time in the entire Bible. Thus, denoting that the sweetsmelling savor of the Lord Jesus Christ was a one time offering in His sacrifice for us. Does this not tell us that the sacrifice of Christ was FAR ABOVE all the collective lambs and rams and bullocks of the Old Testament. Consider the multitude of these sacrifices that the ONE sacrifice of Christ Himself is far above them all. If you can handle this: when Christ died on the cross at Calvary, the reign of sin and death was over. Christ had defeated sin and death and covered the sin of the whole world with His blood.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Hebrews 8:2)
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; (Hebrews 9:11)
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: (Hebrews 9:13)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:16)
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

Understanding the Inheritance of an Endless Life

The Lord Jesus has given us an inheritance far greater than that of the temporal world. We see this inheritance ushered in Hebrews 9:15 that it was through HIS BLOOD and death upon the cross of Calvary. In our NEW birth we have an inheritance which the Holy Ghost relates to us. We have a NEW country, a NEW King and Ruler, a NEW city (heavenly), and a NEW life, eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16) As He reigns with the power of an endless life, He has brought us, the children of God, INTO THAT ENDLESS LIFE. You cannot be separated from the love of God which is IN Christ Jesus. He is NOT going to give up His power of an endless life that He has imputed unto you. NO ONE nor ANYTHING can ever separate a child of God from His Savior.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:27) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

In the foolishness of man, man would like to say BUT. There is NO BUT in this statement by the Holy Ghost. We are one with Christ and we are safe in the bosom of the Father, and He will not release us from our everlasting presence WITH Him. As Christ was not born after the carnal commandment, so also those who are born again are NOT BORN of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)
Let’s again consider Hebrews 7:16, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. This verse has two parts. The first part is the negative, Christ was NOT born after the carnal commandments. Thus. this takes us back to Genesis 1:28, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. This was the carnal commandment given to the natural man, Adam and Eve. But Christ came into this world NOT under that commandment. The second part of Hebrews 7:16 IS that HE has the power of an endless life. This endless life did NOT begin IN HIS BIRTH at Bethlehem. This was the beginning of the manifestation of that Holy thing SENT DOWN from heaven with the power of an endless life. There is nothing natural about the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. He came as a SUPERNATURAL BEING. While He was in Mary’s womb. He was the SAME SUPERNATURAL BEING with the power of an endless life. When He created the worlds, He was the same power of an endless life. When one day He ends the heavens and the earth and creates a new heaven and a new earth it will be in the same power of His endless life.
God in His purpose wanted to show His love in the Person of His beloved Son that He would be born in the same world as man, that He would grow and mature as an image of a man, that He would endure the physical sufferings with the presence of evil all around Him.

Understanding the POWER of an Endless Life
and the POWER of Eternal Faith

Think of the power that was IN Jesus Christ, the Son of man. He was recognized by the demons as the Son of God, and THEY obeyed His words and perished in the swine. Yet, man knew Him not. He was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world KNEW HIM NOT. He came to Israel to be their King, and to break their shackles that bound them to Rome, and they KNEW HIM NOT and they refused to receive Him. In all this, as He left His footprints upon the earth, we see the tremendous power of sin within man, that good in the Lord Jesus Christ was ALWAYS fighting sin and iniquity that was in the heart of mankind for man loved the darkness of Satan and hated the LIGHT of Christ. They denied the power of His endless life which is the good part, the positive part of Hebrews 7:16. Why is it so good? He has taken US, the children of God, into that power of an endless life to reign with Him forever. The word power in Hebrews 7:16 is the outgoing power of ALL of the attributes of Christ. Although man may not consider the power of God, an attribute nevertheless Christ has the power of ETERNAL FAITH. Here is a thought: Faith is the wedding ring of salvation that binds us to our beloved so that He may reign in our hearts with that power of an endless life.
Noah saw the great power of God as God destroyed the earth. Man began to build once more his own world on a new earth washed clean. Have you ever considered that the day or the moment that you were born again that God destroyed Adam in you and replaced Adam with the Spirit of the Son of His love, the Lord Jesus Christ? I have written this many times that as the Son of God, in His eternal power, brought God down to man, so also as the Son of man in that same power He brought man to God. He endured the cross, despised the shame, and in that power of an endless life overcame death, hell and the works of the devil, and in that same power He presents each and every child of God before God the Father in their newness of life the power of HIS endless life. Although we still experience as we walk upon this earth the battle of our own flesh against the Spirit of the Son of God, He will never let that flesh separate us from the love of God which is upheld by the power of His endless life.
It was NOT the earth but man in his world of sin that refused to be changed and refused to receive the Lord of glory, and in the case of Israel, their King, the son of David. The heart of man since the days of Noah was and still is continually evil.

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. (Genesis 8:21)

If it were possible that man in his religious state could cut himself off from all sin, he would still be faced with the reality that SIN IS WITHIN him. Each beat of his heart was that same old heart of iniquity. His thoughts would contain the same evil imaginations as in Genesis Chapter 6. This is exactly why the Holy Spirit gave us Chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews, to reveal that FAITH separates man from man. FAITH separates man from the world. FAITH separates man from sin, and FAITH separates man from death. FAITH JOINS man with the love of God. FAITH JOINS man with the Spirit of Christ. FAITH JOINS man with God’s righteousness. FAITH JOINS man with the power of God’s endless life.

Faith in the POWER of the Endless LOVE of God

FAITH, as that ring of FAITH, weds us to the Son of God, who is not only God’s beloved Son, but now, He is our beloved, and He has written in the Song of Songs that we are His, and He will not surrender us nor give us up. (Song 2:16)

My beloved [is] mine, and I [am] his: he feedeth among the lilies. (Song 2:16)
I [am] my beloved’s, and my beloved [is] mine: he feedeth among the lilies. (Song 6:3)

In the Song of Songs we see the value of the love of Christ. He is able to draw His own out of the darkness of this world. At times He mysteriously passes by and then hides in the shadows and behind the lattice work, but His voice is always there speaking to the heart and declares that His loved ones would, Rise up my love and come away. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. (Song 2:10)

At times of trial He hides us in the cleft of the rock. He reveals Himself to us in the secret places of the stairs, the ladder that ascends up to God. O my dove, [that art] in the clefts of the rock, in the secret [places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet [is] thy voice, and thy countenance [is] comely. (Song of Songs 2:14) His angels who are UNSEEN in their ministry constantly descend and ascend to present the wonder of our Beloved. Our hearts cry out, Let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice, let me, in remembrance, enjoy the sweet savor of thy love in the sacrifice of thyself on the cross of Calvary.         When that comely image was so smitten by man that he could not be recognized as the Son of man then the wonder, the power of that endless life broke the chains of death and ascended out of the deep and revealed to all of mankind concerning the cave of death that He is not here, He is risen . . . he feedeth among the lilies. Mary stood in wonder when she recognized the Lord on the morning of His resurrection. Her heart could say, My beloved is mine, and I am His. And in this we also can say, Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether. (Song of Songs 2:17) Bether means division, He has separated us, the Bride, His beloved for ALL eternity to be with Him. He has encircled our heart with the ring of FAITH that we may dwell with Him throughout eternity. There upon the mountains of division, He secured and sealed our union with Him with the POWER of an endless life and the POWER of an endless love.

Through Time to Timelessness

By FAITH Noah built an ark. That was a tremendously unique undertaking, and we can go further on that it was a Supernatural undertaking. Noah, being warned of God of what was about to come upon the earth, MOVED WITH FEAR as he built the ark, and continued to preach righteousness to the world THROUGH FAITH and his LOVE of God.

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Hebrews 12:23)
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (Hebrews 12:25)
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. (Hebrews 12:26)
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. (Hebrews 12:27)
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: (Hebrews 12:28)
For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:29)

This section of Hebrews Chapter 12 is addressed to the general assembly and church of the firstborn. The world is still under the umbrella of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel of God’s righteousness has been preached to man for over two thousand years. It is the gospel of the Son of God.
This entire book of Hebrews is a tribute to the Son of God. Everything about the Son of God is explained in the book of Hebrews, and over and over, the Holy Spirit WARNS mankind NOT TO DESPISE the Son of God. Chapter 12 of Hebrews is very important and verse 23 we have our names, the names of the redeemed written in heaven. We are the spirits of just men made perfect. We have a heart. We have a soul, but most of all we have the Spirit of Christ IN our heart, and over our soul.
Christ is the Mediator of the new covenant. He in His more excellent sacrifice has sanctified that covenant, the New Covenant in His own blood. This blood speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. In God’s progressive revelation of Himself, in His counsels, and in His foreknowledge, God drew Abel by FAITH into the heirship of salvation. There is a warning in verse 25, See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven. Here again we see the preaching of Noah about righteousness only it is translated into our present day. Noah was preaching the things of God. He told them of his day of the divine sacrifice, the more excellent sacrifice, for Noah was a preacher of righteousness AND AN HEIR of God’s righteousness. Yet, they refused the testimony of Noah. Now in THESE LAST DAYS, God has spoken to us BY and THROUGH His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are born anew of God have testified to the earth, to the world and to them who dwell therein, (The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein) the righteousness of God which is IN AND BY the Lord Jesus Christ.
They refused Him when He spoke while on the earth, and they escaped NOT the penalty of darkness and unbelief. Now, since His ascension, as the Son of man, to heaven He has been speaking through the gospel with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. Those who refuse the everlasting message of salvation will face not the waters of judgment but the consuming fires of God . . . For our God is a consuming fire. God will remove all those things that are under the curse. All the things that have been made as the tangible earth and the world of possessions will not only be shaken but they will be removed. Noah, in his preaching proclaimed the God of creation to the world of mankind, and they refused his message, and perished and became spirits in prison to the time of Christ.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: (1st Peter 3:18) By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; (1st Peter 3:19) Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1st Peter 3:20)
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. (Isaiah 42:7)

Those spirits, when the Lord descended into the deep, were transferred from their prison into the fires of hell. This is a dreadful message; it should cause the heart of man to twitch within the chest. Man should cry out, I am undone, how can I be saved? God is long suffering to usward. Just as in the days of Noah, God was NOT willing that any should perish, however, they refused the sanctuary of God’s grace by loving their darkness and sin. There is a positive to grace because we have received a kingdom which CANNOT be moved. It is upheld by the power of the Lord’s endless life. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
I remember once when I was in a bookstore, I was looking for old books in ‘the religious section,’ and among the old books was a book titled, Time Travel. Out of curiosity, I opened the book. It showed me the evil imagination of man. This had nothing to do with God, but everything to do with man trying to BE GOD. This thought came to me, and I remember it well, every time that I open my Bible, I TRAVEL THROUGH TIME from the beginning to the end, from the creation to a new creation, from the past, present, and future, from yesterday, today and forever. I can travel back to Genesis Chapter 6 and see all the evil of their hearts, thoughts and evil imaginations. Then through the Spirit of Christ, I can travel to Romans Chapter 1 and I can see all their defilement and sin in that long list of ungodliness. Then I can travel to today, the world in which I live and make my presence in, and I see the same trait of man in all the ungodliness of Romans 1 of Genesis 6.
Over and over the Spirit of God proclaims that as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. (Luke 17:26) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. (Luke 17:27)
In Noah’s work of building the ark, it was a strange craft or building . . . what was it? You see the world had never seen anything like this. This was a blueprint from heaven. The ark itself was a witness AGAINST ungodliness. Enoch in his prophecy shared that prophecy with the world that then was. And of course, in our day, we know that Enoch’s prophecy is also related to the very end when The Beast and the false prophet are both destroyed and when Satan himself is cast into the lake of fire.
The ark, through its construction, became a calendar of one hundred years, and when the ark was completed and Noah and his family and the animals were safely within, although the world knew not the hour of their judgment, God shut Noah in, the day and hour of judgment had come, and the calendar was completed. The Bible tells us that they were all washed away. Now think of the durability of the ark. As the rains viciously pelted the ark from above, the fountains of the deep broke as volcanoes of water throwing rocks and mud into the atmosphere, The tremendous tsunami’s that must have taken place turning the foundations of the world upside down, that which was beneath was thrust up to become the new earth. Hugh canyons were created by the waters and exposed the heart of the earth. The earth itself was reformed and reshaped. The Potter was remaking the clay, and you think that God can’t take an old man full of sin and divinely create a new man and give him life from above? Yes, the Bible allows us to travel through time so that we might realize the time in which we now exist in dealing with our own heart, soul and spirit. Just as in the life of Noah, we travel though a long period of time. His life span was nine hundred and fifty years (950). And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. (Genesis 9:29)

The Great Division
The Law of the Leper and The Priest

As we consider man on a new earth, God reminds us in Genesis 8:21 that man’s heart is STILL continuously evil. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
God spoke while Noah was still offering his sacrifice while sanctifying the new earth. At the same time, God is speaking about the evil heart of man and his imagination as in Genesis Chapter 6. There were only eight souls on this new earth at that time, but only ONE, Noah, had FAITH’s golden ring. ONLY Noah had the grace of God. Only Noah walked with God. His entire family came under the umbrella of Noah’s FAITH. Yes, they were saved through the flood, but FAITH was not found in them. This is why in 2nd Peter 2:5 we are informed that Noah is called the eighth person. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. The number eight is identified with the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He arose on the first day of the week, which is the day AFTER the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, therefore the number eight is spiritually identified as the eighth day when Christ arose from the dead.

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1st Peter 3:20) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: (1st Peter 3:21)

I hope that you are able to see the picture here, baptism is our declaration to the world that we have died to this present world, and NOW through the power of Christ’s resurrection we LIVE in the power of His endless life. The reality of the new birth is that HE LIVES IN ME, and I LIVE IN HIM as a new creation, supernaturally changed by the power of God. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)

We are born of God NOT after the carnal commandment. In Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John the women went to the sepulcher on the FIRST day of the week, which was the day AFTER the Sabbath, which was also the EIGHTH day. Now, to put this all together we need to time travel all the way back to Leviticus Chapter 14:7-10 to The Law of the Leper.

And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. (Leviticus 14:7)
And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. (Leviticus 14:8)
But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean. (Leviticus 14:9)
And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil. (Leviticus 14:10)

The cleansing of the leper was a visual sign given to Israel to show them what SIN was capable of. That SIN ate away at the live of all man, and when SIN has finished it brings forth death. The leper was a walking testimony of SIN. His SIN had brought him into this condition, but his CLEANSING FROM SIN and from leprosy had to be proclaimed on the EIGHTH DAY OR THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK . . . the day of resurrection. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:26)
The cleansing of the leper was also a witness of being dead to SIN and then CLEANSED and made whole, white and clean, as ONE risen from the dead. This outwardly and visually connects the leper to resurrection on the eighth day. Do you see this?

And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD. (Leviticus 14:23)
And when these days are expired, it shall be, [that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 43:27)

When the Lord Jesus healed the ten lepers recorded in the gospel of Luke Chapter 17, only one returned to worship Him as the Son of God, God Himself.

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. (Luke 17:11)
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: (Luke 17:12)
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. (Luke 17:13)
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. (Luke 17:14)
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, (Luke 17:15)
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. (Luke 17:16)
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? (Luke 17:17)
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. (Luke 17:18)
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. (Luke 17:19)

Israel had the oracles of God, and the one leper who returned was a Samaritan, a stranger. Those lepers who were of Israel DID NOT return to worship Him. Remember that in John Chapter 4, the Samaritans worshiped in the mountain wherein the Jews worshiped in Jerusalem. Logic tells us that those under the divine covenant should have been the ones to return to the Lord Jesus to worship Him, but NO, it was a Samaritan, a stranger. This shows the working of God in all hearts, whether a Jew or a Gentile. And it shows that the place of accepted worship was NOT and is NOT in a building made with hands, but at the feet of the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY ONE WORTHY OF WORSHIP. Today, we worship Him in SPIRIT AND TRUTH. God places SPIRIT and TRUTH together, they cannot be separated. You CANNOT worship God in SPIRIT and sin. You CANNOT worship God in SPIRIT and error. You CANNOT worship God in SPIRIT and religion. It will always be true that TRUE WORSHIPERS will worship God in SPIRIT and TRUTH.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. (John 4:22) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

In the cleansing of the ten lepers, the Lord marveled that only one returned to worship Him. He asked this question, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? He had cleansed ten and ONLY ONE former leper returned. The other nine former lepers had the same outward appearance, but only ONE, the stranger in Israel had a new heart, and God looks on the heart, NOT the outward man. Read and meditate on Leviticus Chapter 14, and you will be spiritually opened to that miracle that the Lord performed that day in cleansing the ten lepers. By cleansing them He proclaimed that He was the TRUE HIGH PRIEST for in the book of Leviticus, ONLY the HIGH PRIEST could perform the ceremony of the cleansing of the leper. And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD. (Leviticus 14:23)

Mini Side Note: The word priest is recorded twenty-nine times in Leviticus Chapter 14 dealing with The Law of the Leper, No other book nor any other chapter has the word priest recorded that many times in the Old Testament.

Yet, the God of creation, the Lord Jesus Christ, CLEANSED those ten lepers in a moment of time, with the power of His endless word, I WILL: be thou clean. In the gospel of Luke there is the record of a man (a single individual) set free from leprosy.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. (Luke 5:12) And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. (Luke 5:13) And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. (Luke 5:14)

This truly was a marvelous action. Those ten lepers in Luke 17 were drawn to the Lord Jesus by the Spirit of God, and the Spirit of God records this action for our learning and comfort of the Scriptures. In the sight of God, I have come from the Gentiles, I was a stranger from the oracles of God, yet, God in His divine will and purpose cleansed me from the leprosy of SIN that brings forth death. When the Lord Jesus told those ten former lepers to go and show themselves to the priest, He was sending them as a witness to His great power. His declaration that HE WAS AND IS the TRUE HIGH PRIEST which in our study is magnified in the book of Hebrews in Chapter 7, verse 26. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15)
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; (Hebrews 8:1)

The Pharisees had asked the question of the Lord, When shall the kingdom of God come? That single leper from the ten, a stranger of the Gentiles had found the Kingdom of God AND THE KING of that Kingdom. The religious leaders with ALL the oracles of God had NO CLUE of the ONE who was before them. When dealing with the multitude of religious professors, always remember the parable of the sower. There were many seeds but only one brought forth fruit for God. IT IS NOT ABOUT PROFESSION IT IS ALL ABOUT POSSESSION OF THE SON OF GOD.

The Great Division in Time When
Faith Ceased to Exist

Noah was a unique man for his time or any time frame. He was a man of FAITH. He had found God’s grace, and he constantly walked with God. Although he was born in the OLD world, he was the ONLY person who brought FAITH to the new earth. Although there were eight souls, God desired to show us the difference among the one man of FAITH and the seven souls without FAITH. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (2nd Thessalonians 3:2) When Noah was taken out of this world and went home to glory, FAITH ENDED IN THE WORLD OF WICKED MEN. God watched the evil heart of man and his imagination as they gathered together and continually repeated the errors recorded in the first Chapter of the book of Romans, and they ended with the man of Romans 2:1, they were inexcusable. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. (Romans 2:1)
After Noah, and after many generations of FAITHLESS man upon the earth, the God of glory appeared to Abraham. There is a message in the verse numbers of SIX, SEVEN and EIGHT within the 11th Chapter of Hebrews.
In number six, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) The message in the number six is a message to ALL of mankind that through FAITH and FAITH alone can anyone please God.
In number 7, By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. In Hebrews 11:7, the number seven is the number of God’s completion and the number of God’s rest. We see Noah in a new earth, where the ark came to rest.
(Between Noah and Abraham there was a time span of approximately 400 years when FAITH ceased to exist. Genesis Chapter 10 to Chapter 11:26 discloses generations upon generations from the three FAITHLESS sons of Noah and from one offspring, Nimrod, is revealed the first new earth development of a one world government. This was a period in time when FAITH ceased to exist.)
In number 8, By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. In Hebrews 11:8, we have Abraham in the presence of the glory of God as we see in Acts 7:2, And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran. FAITH had returned as a gift to Abraham. Life had changed and Abraham BELIEVED God and it was added unto him for righteousness.
Between Hebrews 11:7 and 11:8 the Holy Spirit had NOTHING to write about FAITH because during that span of time as we saw in Genesis 10 and 11, there WAS NO FAITH ON EARTH. Thus, this shows that there was an enormous drought of FAITH or absence of FAITH in the sons of Noah. These three men, Shem, Ham and Japheth degraded themselves to the lawlessness of idolatry and all that comes with it. Many sins make up idolatry and man’s religion. For the sin of idolatry opposes the worship of the ONE GOD and ONE SAVIOR, Jesus Christ.
The psalmist declared to God in Psalm 51:4, Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. In the New Testament, God confirmed that all man have sinned and come short of the glory of God. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Consider the word glory in the day of Abraham. It was the God of GLORY who appeared to Abraham. Abraham was removed from Adam through his belief in the God of GLORY and FAITH returned to the earth. Then we need to read Hebrews 1:3, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Through this verse we see that Christ is the express image of God. He is the APPEARING figure of the ONE GOD possessor of heaven and earth, and the BRIGHTNESS of the God of GLORY. It is HE who appeared to Abraham as the manifest IMAGE of the invisible God. The description of the Son of God is given throughout the WHOLE of the word of God, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, from the beginning to the end.
At the burning bush, God revealed Himself to Moses as I AM THAT I AM. In John Chapter 8:58, the Lord Jesus revealed to the Jews and Pharisees, Before Abraham was, I am. In the closing verses of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ Revelation 22:16, the Lord Jesus brings the finality of His Person through the phrase, I, JESUS, (I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star. ) If we let the voice of the Spirit speak to us, we can only be thankful for God’s unspeakable gift in His beloved Son.
After Noah, hundreds of years passed, and there was the development of the first world kingdom of man through the same twisted philosophy of control over others that exists today in the building of city powers, country powers and world powers. Mankind still desires a one world kingdom of their own making. This was the same philosophy in the days of Nimrod after the flood. According to the TRUE HISTORIAN and HIS RECORD in the word of God, the Holy Spirit informs us that the kingdom of Nimrod began in the land of Shinar.

It was the gathering of a united world together in one people, and one language. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. (Genesis 11:1) In contradiction to the prophetic word given concerning Ham, Shem and Japheth to multiply and to replenish the earth in Genesis 9:1 and 7, they assembled together in one area to unite under one name, thus, there would be ONE CENTER OF CONTROL and ONE MAN, NIMROD IN CONTROL.

And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. (Genesis 11:2)
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter (Genesis 11:3) .
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 11:4)

Nimrod was a specifically noted as a MIGHTY hunter; we can believe that Nimrod used force and violence to all those who refused to comply with his one world system. He was truly the anti-God of the future Antichrist, and as the Antichrist, Nimrod was totally controlled by his father the devil. Remember that the devil is a devouring beast going throughout the entire world as a roaring lion. He is a hunter of men, and the souls of men. Satan stalks his prey by hiding in the shadows of idolatry and religion and sin. Every line from verse 18 onward in the book of Romans, Chapter 1, is a divine message of time travel of the evil heart of mankind and his depraved imagination.
We began with Genesis 6, and after the world was destroyed when the children of the devil once again emerge in Shem, Ham and Japheth. So, the message that we have in Romans 1 is applied to the old earth and to the new earth. Romans Chapter 1 is Satan’s manna. He feeds men with the SIN of their evil imaginations. This food is toxic and poisonous to the destruction of mankind.

The Great Division
The Wilderness of Sin versus God’s Heirship of Rest

In the days of Moses when the children of Israel passed through the Red Sea, they entered into the Wilderness of Sin. And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin. (Numbers 33:11) This was not a mistake by the Holy Spirit of God, He desires that we would concentrate on the wandering of Israel through this Wilderness of Sin and apply it to the wilderness that we roam in. The Wilderness of Sin has many dispensations.
God asked Adam. Where art thou? And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou? (Genesis 3:9) They hid among the trees in their own wilderness of sin. As man progressed or regressed throughout his history he continually tried to hide his sin from the Almighty God. But God will always find you and your sin. Some where when you are not expecting it, God will say in your heart, Where are thou?
God asked Cain, What hast thou done? How great is your sin? It is evident from the Scriptures that man throughout his genealogies and all of his generations has passed his sin onto the next generation both inwardly and outwardly. Sin resides permanently in all man because sin brings forth death under The Law of Sin and Death, and the result is that all men die. God is long suffering to usward and Peter was considering ALL of mankind from the old world and the new world when he was directed to write these words in 1st Peter 3:20 and 2nd Peter 3:9.

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1st Peter 3:20)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2nd Peter 3:9)

Scripture teaches us that God is patient, but as we have seen in Genesis Chapter 6, His patience does run out, whether an individual or a nation or as in Noah or the entire world there comes a time for God’s Final Call in the realm of man, that FINAL whisper of the Spirit of God to the conscience when God simply says, What hast thou done? I used to tell my radio listeners at the beginning of each program, “Time is against, God is for us, each second is someone’s final call.”
We have posted many messages on the internet for we are doing our part trying to pull precious souls out of the fires of hell. Where are you today? Are you in Christ under His blood atonement or still under the power of the prince of this world, the devil, Satan. I beseech you be ye reconciled to God through the Son of His love, Jesus Christ. You cannot undue what you have done, but through Christ’s sacrifice of Himself, He can make ALL THINGS NEW and give you newness of life.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:14)
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:15)
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. (Hebrews 2:16)
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Hebrews 2:17)
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)

Amen and Selah.
