Some Babel Principles

Principles from the tower of Babel in the land of Shinar

   • United men can dethrone God.

   • Consensus determines truth and morality.

   • Man in his own determinate strength and will can achieve physical, social and spiritual greatness.

   • In the religion of humanism there is power and truth.

   • United man can create an accepted and perfect social and governmental order.

Some Principles of Human Government

Man’s government is always built on a wrong foundation:

   • It is built on the presumption that men have the ability to govern with truth, justice and righteousness.

   •  It is built on the presumption that men know what is right for the masses.

   •  It is built on the presumption that because men know what is right, they will do what is right.

Some Principles of God’s Government

   •  Holiness and sin cannot dwell together.

   •  God’s Holiness and Righteousness demands that He must judge sin.

   •  Universal depravity: all have sinned.

   •  God never departs from His holiness to fellowship with man.

   •  Truth is not determined by the majority.

   •  God manifests His power in the affairs of mankind.

   •  It is God, and God alone who defines truth.

   •  God is always on His throne.
