INTRODUCTION
to
The Highest Himself

When you consider Psalm 87:5, you see a title, The Highest Himself . . . And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. This station, this position is the HIGHEST of all things and over all beings, and yet the Holy Spirit desires that this title would not be capitalized . . . . the highest himself. In Psalm 18:13, the Highest is capitalized, The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. In Psalm 87:6, we have the lowliness of the man in verse 6, The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. As you pull the curtain aside, you see the lowliness of the Lord Jesus, humbling Himself and becoming a servant from a high and lofty position in heaven above. He descended as a Man from heaven with ALL the SUPERNATURAL POWER yet concealed within the Highest Himself.

The Highest Himself Manifested to Mankind

In Psalm 24, verse 1, we read, The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof. This shows complete possession, and then further we read, and they that dwell therein. No man, woman or child can escape this fundamental reality that ALL belongs to God. This is the aspect of the possession of His creation. Although Adam brought sin into the world, God in His creatorial power and position still OWNS and POSSESSES ALL of creation including mankind. Consider the Highest Himself becoming man and taking on the LIKENESS of sinful flesh so that in His death upon the cross, He could destroy sin and death and the works of the devil.
Not to be confused: the first tree of SIN was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The second tree is recorded in Galatians 3:13, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. This tree was also the tree of SIN, which was the cross. The difference between these two trees was that the second tree held the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: (John 3:14). He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7) Adam was given The Law of Sin and Death BEFORE he took of the fruit of that tree. In disobedience to the Holy Word of God, and from the hand of Eve, Adam took the fruit and partook of that fruit and consequently brought sin and death into the world.
Psalm 24 says, Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? Man could NOT rectify himself before God, he could not cleanse himself of the sin of Adam, and he could not remove death from his soul. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully shall receive the blessing from the LORD AND righteousness from the God of his salvation. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Psalm 24:5) This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. (Psalm 24:6)
Isaiah Chapter 53 begins with, Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? This was not the prophet speaking of himself or of other prophets. This was the Godhead relating to man the wonder that would come in the Son of God. For He shall grow up before His Father, and because He was made in the likeness of man, they would see NO beauty in Him, they would NOT see the glory within Him shining forth. For their eyes were blinded by their own sin. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. (Isaiah 53:2) He shall grow up as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground, and yet, in HIM was LIFE and the LIGHT of man. Within the Son of God was ALL LIFE. ALL creation was in His breath and His voice separated the darkness from the light. And yet, man still loves darkness and embraces himself with darkness and hides his soul from the Light of Life in Christ Jesus. Only the Lord Jesus has the right to ascend into the hill of the Lord, and to stand in heaven’s holy place because of His own purity and His righteousness and His sinlessness in His Holy and divine nature.
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. In Hebrews 7:26, He is separate from sinners just as Mary was chosen as a vehicle to shelter in her womb that Holy Thing, the Lord of glory. His birth was a Supernatural act of God because Christ was The Supernatural One revealed in Isaiah 9:6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. In Isaiah 9:6 we see the wonder of the Gift of God given to us from heaven’s glory. This was not a man of Adam’s race, but a Supernatural Man given of God the Father to redeem the world unto Himself. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (2nd Corinthians 5:19)

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Romans 3:24) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Romans 3:25)

Since Adam brought sin into the world, there has been no purity in the descendants of his race. Adam separated himself from God by bringing sin into the world. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Romans 5:12)
Many miss the completeness of the phrase that their eyes were opened when Adam sinned. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (Genesis 3:7) Not only were they opened, but they saw things differently. Man’s vision and his thoughts and his actions became self-centered in his sin. When man looks at the creation, he rarely sees that the highest mountain, and the highest tree as from the hands of the Creator. He only considers the works of his own hands and has no thoughts of The HIGHEST Himself. Man is self-centered in his own achievements, in the simplicity of how high he can climb, jump, fly, leap or be exalted above other men. The desire to acquire the highest position of a country, or over a religion, or of an organization, or a place of preeminence is central in man’s thoughts and desires. Mankind rarely seeks to KNOW the HIGHEST Himself. Mankind can neither measure the HIGHEST Himself, nor achieve the standards set by the HIGHEST Himself. How can that which is created know the ONE who created him? How high can the mind of man ascend without the knowledge of God? Man will never accept his low estate in sin. He will not admit that all has come from the HIGHEST Himself: knowledge, understanding, language, and reason: all has come from The Highest Himself. How can dust (mankind) have any power and knowledge except it is given to Him from on high? The image of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, took the dust of the earth and molded this dust into His own image, the image of God. Dust was forgotten in the creation of man; it was only sin that brought man back to dust. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return. (Genesis 3:19)
The shadow that goes before me, can it know me? So, how can man, how can I understand that which is far above me, the Highest Himself? It is only through His grace that He has given ALL men, the word of God, so that they may know their condition and know the remedy for the sin that Adam brought into the world. We can only know the Creator by the revelations that the Creator has given of Himself in the word of God. This is our direct connection with The Highest Himself. This is where we not only receive the knowledge of our Creator, but also the knowledge of our Redeemer. We are informed by God, He reveals to us the purpose of man. At the creation of Adam, Adam did not know his purpose for being. It was the image of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, who created Adam, who gave Adam purpose and dominion and knowledge.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Genesis 1:29)
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Genesis 1:30)
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31)

This dominion was the first subject that Adam was schooled on. God gave Adam dominion over the fish of the sea, and He gave him dominion over the beasts of the earth, dominion over every fowl of the air, and everything that creepeth upon the earth. These last two are very important, for the fowl of the air was much higher than man and everything that creepeth upon the earth was much lower than man, and there was no sin in the world. When Adam named all the creatures, he did it with a pure mind, and a pure heart, and a pure spirit, and a pure soul. Adam was the first man on earth who possessed dominion and total human authority over the earth. Adam was the first ruler of the earth and over the earth. He was the ONLY man and he was the highest man. He had a purpose to be fruitful and to multiply and to replenish the earth. We need to remember all of this was BEFORE sin came into the world. It took the disobedience of one man to change everything around him. His disobedience removed his glory, and along with sin, Adam brought DEATH, not only to himself but to ALL that had life on the earth. When God created Adam, He determined Adam’s height, his weight, his looks, his members, his mind and heart, and He also gave Adam created knowledge to allow man to think, to understand and to speak. Even the tone and timbre of Adam’s voice came from his Creator. Adam’s communion with God was God inspired. Adam had ALL eternity before him, and then, he disobeyed the Almighty. BEFORE sin there was no barrier between Adam and God. If Adam desired knowledge, God was there to give him knowledge. If Adam desired wisdom, God was there to give wisdom. This one man enjoyed communion with The Highest Himself, the Almighty. Adam’s Creator was his Counselor, and Teacher. The fresh odor of the new creation was every where, and the flower of man had just begun to bloom when the greatest tragedy on earth happened. By ONE man, SIN came into the world, and DEATH by sin. The flower faded and divided ALL that tied Adam to God. Adam’s spirit DIED and withered away, and the image that was glorious then bore the shroud of SIN and DEATH. But that was not all. This great epic, this great tragedy brought DEATH into the whole creation on earth. All that God had made on this earth that He had called GOOD was then under the curse of SIN and DEATH.

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, (Romans 8:20)
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:21)
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. (Romans 8:22)
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (Romans 8:23)

Through this dark cloud of SIN came an immense shattering that affected the entire universe: the spiritual and the natural worlds became unclean in the eyes of God. Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. (Job 15:15) Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. (Job 25:5)
Faith is the medicine and the cure for sin. We know this from Hebrews Chapter 11, verse 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. FAITH instructs us that our redemption comes through belief in God, the Lord Jesus Christ, But without faith it is impossible to please him. As the horrifying darkness of sin came into the world, so at the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, both LIGHT and LIFE also came into the world. In that infant was the SPIRIT of LIFE which would free man from The Law of Sin and Death. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2) As Adam and Eve stood at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their glory had departed, and they saw the HORROR of their nakedness, for the Spirit of God had departed from them, and they were then possessed with the sinful spirit of man. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. (1st Corinthians 2:11)

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. (1st Corinthians 15:40)
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. (1st Corinthians 15:41)
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: (1st Corinthians 15:42)
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: (1st Corinthians 15:43)
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (1st Corinthians 15:44)
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (1st Corinthians 15:45)

There are two parts to the glory of Adam departing. Not only was he aware of his own nakedness, for the glory of God had departed, but Adam also lost sight of God’s glory for the darkness of sin had put Adam in a state of condemnation. Thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 1:17) Although throughout Scripture, the Glory of God returned, it was not as a covering for man, but a presence of God’s habitation. The proof of this is in the gospels. The Glory of God had come down from heaven in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, and man could only see no form, nor comeliness, and no beauty in Him that man would desire. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. (Isaiah 53:2) Man could NOT SEE the glory of Christ because of man’s condition in sin.

The Glory of the Highest Himself Manifested to Mankind

When the Lord Jesus revealed His glory, it was to Peter, James and John on the holy mount. After they viewed His glory, they went into a deep sleep and for a moment in time, in that sleep, their sin was covered with the glory of God. Then, as a man returns from sleep, they returned to the darkness of sin. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. (Luke 9:32) Instead of understanding what had just happened, and what was revealed, the heart of man wanted to BUILD. This was NOT the purpose of this great revelation of the revealing of Christ’s glory. These three men would become responsible for some of the greatest revelations given of God concerning His beloved Son. God had to interrupt their thoughts with a statement from heaven, This is my beloved Son: hear him. This great revelation was not only given to Peter, James and John, but to EVERYONE who believes the Scriptures with their hearts and souls. This is an important portion of the doctrine of Christ. This revelation shows a direct connection with heaven, with God the Father, and with His divine Sonship. In Hebrews 1:2, His Sonship as Heir, and His creatorial power as He made the worlds are brought to us again to show us the doctrine of Christ, the fullness of His glory and the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
The glory of God is the glory of the Spirit. The glory of God is the glory of the Father. The glory of God is the glory of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. John 17 reveals this unity in the SPIRIT of God’s glory both Father and Son and the unity of that glory in the Spirit of Christ with ALL those who believe IN Him. Their FAITH in the Son of God shares that invisible glory. As the world cannot see the glory of Christ, they cannot see the glory of the sons of God, for we have NOT yet been made like Him, but that moment will come as John tells us in his first epistle, Chapter 3. We will be made like Him, and we will see Him as He is. We will behold His glory, The Highest Himself, and we will think of those words. This is my beloved Son: hear him. When the glory of God is revealed throughout the word of God there is always a purpose at that particular instant.
Moses was the great intercessor between God and Israel. Moses was the revealer of secrets to man. Moses revealed the mind of God to man through his writings. He had received the Law and commandments and ordinances from God, and the witness of the Truth was upon his face. Moses was face to face with God’s glory, so much so that his face glowed with divine light and brought fear to the children of Israel. Man might have said, Is this that same Moses who brought us out of Egypt? They feared greatly, for even the shadow and reflection of divine glory upon the face of Moses revealed the heart of man, that man was in trespass against God. Moses had to cover his face while in their presence.

My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. (Numbers 12:7)
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? (Numbers 12:8)
And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. (Exodus 33:11)
And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. (Exodus 34:33)
But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded. (Exodus 34:34)
And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him. (Exodus 34:35)
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. (Exodus 34:28)
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. (Exodus 34:29)
And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. (Exodus 34:30)

Consider the record that Moses was FACE to FACE with the HIGHEST Himself. Moses was eye to eye with the image of the invisible God, and as Noah, Moses found grace in the sight of the Lord. The experience that Moses had in the presence of God on mount Sinai, was not the only face to face experience that Moses had. Moses would become the instrument of grace to Israel. He would be their mediator between God and Israel. His life was a prophecy of witness to the Greater Mediator (the Lord Jesus Christ) between God and man, both Jew and Gentile.
Both Moses and Elijah were on that holy mount when Christ revealed Himself to Peter, James and John. They faded away when Christ revealed HIS glory, but they were all there as witnesses to the past revelations of God in The Law and The Prophets. Elijah was the prophet of judgment. He was the final word of God passed on to the ten tribes called Israel (or Ephraim) who had forsaken God. Elijah passed his message of judgment onto Elisha and Elisha fulfilled those judgments upon Israel. Elijah’s parting from the earth was as no other parting. There was  a whirlwind, and a fiery chariot, and horses: a divine parting as no other.

And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. (2nd Kings 2:1)
And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2nd Kings 2:11)
And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. (2nd Kings 2:12)
He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; (2nd Kings 2:13)
And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. (2nd Kings 2:14)

These two men, Moses and Elijah, stood on mount Sinai, the holy mount. They were in the presence of the Lord’s glory and majesty, and now they had been called up from death to discuss the Lord’s death that He would accomplish in Jerusalem. Remember that Moses had a divine burial because the Lord Himself buried Moses, and to this day, no one knows, except the Almighty, where this burial took place. Elijah departed from the world surrounded by flames of glory. In Peter’s epistle we are reminded of the Supernatural revelation of the glory and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ on the holy mount which is Sinai.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (2nd Peter 1:16)
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (2nd Peter 1:17)
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. (2nd Peter 1:18)
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (2nd Peter 1:19)

Peter gives us the only witness of the holy mount in the New Testament. This particular holy mount is NOT the holy mount found in Isaiah 27:13. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Peter provides a witness of the Supernatural power of the Son of man, the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ transported His disciples to the holy mount which is the holy ground of mount Sinai. This is the SAME mount where Paul ascended to the third heaven. This is a great puzzle for many. Many can accept that the Son of God healed lepers. They can accept that the Son of God raised the dead. They can accept that the Son of God calmed the storm, and both wind and boisterous waves. But man cannot accept the POWER of translation and transporting His disciples to the holy mount of mount Sinai where He would meet with Moses who received the Law and commandments on the same mount. Elijah who is symbolic of the prophets, he also was there on mount Sinai when he received the judgments upon Israel. After the new birth of Paul, God took Paul into Arabia to the holy mount and he ascended to the third heaven and received revelations from the Lord, the Highest Himself. Scripture discloses that there were seven (7) who were on mount Sinai: Peter, James, John, Moses, Elijah, the LORD and the apostle Paul. The evidence of Peter, James, John and the Lord is also recorded in Mark Chapter 9 and in Luke Chapter 9. The following is recorded evidence of the three men: Paul, Moses and Elijah.

The Apostle Paul on Mount Sinai:

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, (Galatians 1:15)
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: (Galatians 1:16)
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. (Galatians 1:17)
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. (Galatians 4:25)
Moses:
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. (Exodus 3:1)
And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. (Exodus 3:5)
And Jethro, Moses’ father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God: (Exodus 18:5)
Elijah:
And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. (1st Kings 19:7)
And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. (1st Kings 19:8)
The LORD Jesus Christ:
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
The Apostle Paul in the third heaven:
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. (2nd Corinthians 12:1)
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. (2nd Corinthians 12:2)
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) (2nd Corinthians 12:3)
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (2nd Corinthians 12:4)
Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. (2nd Corinthians 12:5)
For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. (2nd Corinthians 12:6)
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (2nd Corinthians 12:7)

What I am about to write is NOT for the faint of heart. God established the seventh day as a day of rest and also a day of goodness. When He looked over all that He had made, He rested from His work. This revealing of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ on the holy mount was connected with the 7th day with the words after six days in Mark 9:2, And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. The transfiguration also presents SEVEN beings: Peter, James and John, Moses and Elijah, the Son of man (the Lord Jesus Christ) and then finally Paul the apostle born out of due time. All six of these men were drawn together by God the Father to reveal the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, the seventh Being on the mount of transfiguration: the Son of man who is also the Son of God.
The disciples had no other experience as this time on the holy mount. And yet, few dare to go there. Today, men fear the revelation that was given of the glory of the Son of God on the holy mount. If man acknowledges that THAT mount was mount Sinai, they have to acknowledge the Law and the prophets. They cannot take the word of God and pull it to pieces to suit their own needs and vanity. When Peter, James and John looked on the glory of the Son of God, this was the SAME glory that Adam beheld in Eden BEFORE he brought sin into the world.

The HIGHEST Himself
HIGH PRIEST
Higher than the Heavens
Holy – Harmless – Undefiled – Separate

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:26)

In Hebrews 7:26 we have SUCH a high priest that has not only ascended INTO the heavens but is MADE HIGHER than the heavens. We see Him there as the HIGHEST Himself. It is equally difficult for man to put the image of the invisible God, Jesus Christ, on the HIGHEST throne of the HIGHEST Himself. And yet, God tells us in the book of Hebrews that the throne of the Son of God is FOREVER, and that He rules with a sceptre of righteousness. God unites His righteousness with His creatorial power.

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8)
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Hebrews 1:9)
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (Hebrews 1:10)

We are ALL descendants of Adam in our natural birth. We can only become a descendant of Christ by a Supernatural birth of being born again of the Spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. The natural man, as Satan, wants the position of the Highest Himself. Only through the grace of God can the eyes of man be opened to see the great murderer of all men, the old serpent, the devil and Satan who was a liar from the beginning. (John 8:44)
It is only through the word of God that man can get a true evaluation of himself and of all mankind. Even if an unregenerate person reads ALL the Scriptures, their eyes are closed as Nicodemus of old to the Supernatural. It takes the Spirit of God to move over the heart of man and enlighten man to the ONLY Lord God, Jesus Christ. If this title, the Highest Himself was in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ we would see it as we see the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Almighty, and the beginning of the creation of God.    In comparison of Revelation and John the apostle with Paul the apostle that which Paul could not write about of what he saw in heaven, we see as John describes to us the wonder and the glories of the heaven that God has prepared for His own. There are times when John was on Patmos, and there are times when he is called up into the Supernatural when he was in another sphere. Each time it was a Supernatural moment of God. As Paul described his own experience whether in the body or in the spirit, he could not tell. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. (2nd Corinthians 12:2) And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) (2nd Corinthians 12:3) John also described his own personal contact with heavenly brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling in Jesus Christ, our Lord.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10)
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. (Revelation 22:8) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (Revelation 22:9)

From these two Scriptures when John was carried away into a spiritual world, there was a heavenly presence of both John and one of his fellow brethren and of the prophets. I want you to remember the beginning of this journey of John was a continuation of Christ revealing Himself on the holy mount in John Chapter 1, verse 14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. In this section, the word we refers to Peter, James and John, when they beheld the glory, the glory of the only begotten Son, full of grace and truth on the holy mount which is Sinai. Now, as the Lord was transfigured, it was just not merely an earthly revelation, it was a heavenly revelation to unite the heaven WITH the earthly. To reveal to Peter, James and John that this earthly Being whom they had walked with, and that they had handled of the word of life WAS ALSO a HEAVENLY BEING. In John’s gospel, Chapter 3, verse 13, And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Here we see the unity of the Son of man with the image of transfiguration IN heaven. We cannot understand this unity and this presence of Christ being on earth and at the same time being with God the Father IN heaven. He maintains His position as the Son of God both in heaven and on earth.
On the holy mount we have the Law and the Prophets in Moses and in Elijah and we have grace and truth in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This transfiguration connects earth with heaven, and also it connects the Old Testament with the New Testament in Peter, James and John and the Lord Himself is made HIGHER than the heavens. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:26) This verse from the book of Hebrews says much in light of the eternal Priesthood of the Son of God. Melchisedec is a description of the Priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. His eternal Priesthood is yesterday, today and forever, and His Priesthood is based on His holiness which is the first qualifying aspect in Hebrews 7:26. This compares the Lord Jesus Christ with the vision of Isaiah in Isaiah Chapter 6, verses 1 – 3.

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. (Isaiah 6:1)
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. (Isaiah 6:2)
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (Isaiah 6:3)

This is a heavenly witness of the HIGHEST Himself as Holy, holy, holy. The complete Godhead is surrounded by His own holiness. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. (1st Peter 1:15)
The Holy, holy, holy in Isaiah 6 is the unity of the Godhead IN Jesus Christ. Holiness is the first element that is given to us in the eternal Priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are many descriptive names for the chairs that we sit in, but they are all chairs. Throughout Scripture there are many revelations of ONE God with many names and many titles. These all are found in the bosom of Jesus Christ. There is only ONE Savior, and ONLY ONE name above every name and that is the name JESUS.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:9)
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Philippians 2:10)
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:11)

The next designation in Hebrews 7:26 is harmless. Here we see the character of the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. We also see the intercession of the divine Priest for those who He loves.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:29) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:30)

The meek and lowly servant is the servitude of His priesthood. And one of the key elements is that we should learn of Him. He states Learn of me. This is to all the children of God, not just to learn the word of God, but to LEARN the Living Word who is Jesus Christ. To live by His grace and His truth and this can only be done in the power of the Lord of glory Jesus Christ.
Then in Hebrews 7:26, we have another qualifying element . . . He is undefiled. One of the key elements of the priesthood of Aaron before he entered into the Tabernacle, he had to cleanse himself at the laver. He had to keep himself unspotted from the world to, thus to enter in he had to be undefiled. As we see the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the UNSPOTTED LAMB of sacrifice within and without. As He is righteous, He performs His priestly duties in the purity of His own righteousness for He did NO sin. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (1st Peter 2:21) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (1st Peter 2:22)
The Son of God KNEW NO sin. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2nd Corinthians 5:21) IN Him was NO sin. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. (1st John 3:5) Perfection of the precious Lamb of God who was the Holy One of Israel. He was apart from all sin. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) Here is a witness directly from heaven that the ONE sent down from the Father’s bosom was THAT holy thing. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:35) This also links the Lord Jesus to the HIGHEST Himself in Psalm 87:5 and 6. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. (Psalm 87:5) The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. (Psalm 87:6) The Holy Spirit continues the theme of the Lord’s holiness in the book of Acts where He is designated as the holy child.

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, (Acts 4:27)
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, (Acts 4:29)
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. (Acts 4:30)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY ONE designated as a holy child in all of Scripture, and twice in the book of Acts as a heavenly witness to us, He is called the holy child Jesus. In the book of Acts the Lord Jesus Christ is also called the Holy One twice.

But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; (Acts 3:14)
Wherefore he saith also in another [psalm], Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Acts 13:35)

In the gospel of Mark Chapter 1, verse 24, the demons recognize the holiness of the Son of God by calling Him the Holy One of God. Saying, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. (Mark 1:24) So therefore, the origin of that Holy thing was IN the holiness of God. The life of the Holy child was in the holiness of God. The ministry of the Lord Jesus as a Man, the Son of God, was in the holiness of God. The sacrifice in the book of Acts of the Holy One was IN the holiness of God. All these writings are controlled by the Holy Ghost to show us the holiness and the purity of the Son of God and to preserve this holiness to this very day. It is a shame when people do not realize the PURITY of the Son of God in the holiness of God. Man has a faint understanding of the word holy. It should NEVER be applied to a man of the earth for there is no good thing in man.
Now in Hebrews 7:26, God gives another revelation of the divine and eternal Priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is separate from sinners. This takes us to the Man from heaven. The second man, separate from sinners, this means that there was NOTHING of Adam in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was separate from sinners as the image of the invisible God. He is apart from Adam’s sinful race. That Holy thing came from heaven as a NEW MAN from heaven without the sin and guile of ADAM in Him. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only ONE who has complete PURITY of holiness; Holy, holy, holy is the complete Godhead bodily in Jesus Christ. So, in Jesus Christ we have the fulfillment of God’s holiness. In Jesus Christ we have the fulfillment of God’s righteousness. These two qualifying factors QUALIFIED the Lord Jesus to take away the blight of SIN and DEATH by His eternal Spirit of life within Himself. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:20 Why is this verse important to us who are the children of God? Because, the Spirit of ALL LIFE is IN Christ Jesus. He is the ONE who presents to us our new birth, and by His Spirit sent down by the Father, He acknowledges that LIFE within the heart of each and every believer. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) With all these qualifications and the very fulfillment of these qualifications, God says that the Lord Jesus in His eternal Priesthood is made higher than the heavens. This takes us back to the HIGHEST Himself.
Man celebrates the birth of the child. Man celebrates the death of the MAN. However, the world and man individually have to understand that the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and His death upon Calvary is to introduce us to the MAN in heaven at the right hand of the majesty on high. Celebrate a LIVING MAN. There is NO Man upon the cross. He was taken down by Joseph of Arimathaea and placed in Joseph’s tomb and rose on the third day and ascended on high to God the Father. However, man in his blindness of sin and his blackened heart will accept fairy tales and lies concerning the Lord of glory. Even in the world church, they have defiled the holiness of the Lord Jesus Christ through their actions and in their messages of deception.
On the holy mount, the disciples wanted to build three tabernacles: one for Jesus, one for Moses and one for Elijah. This is when God had enough of the thoughts of man. They had just witnessed a heavenly glory on earth, God the Father rebuked them for their unbelief with the words, This is my beloved Son: hear him. (Mark 9:7) This is what is lacking in the church today. We do not hear the voice of the Son of God. Mostly we see and hear of the traditions of men and sermons that have been beaten to death, as a dead horse by their repetition over the years. According to Peter, every message of the gospel needs to come down from heaven by the power of the Holy Ghost. This keeps the message fresh and real to the hearts of men. If we do not hear the voice of the Son of God in the message to our heart then it is NOT the voice of the Son of God.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (Hebrews 12:25)
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)

Let us move from the HIGHEST Himself to Adam and his descendants: when all men come into the world, they come into a storm of sin and iniquity. They come into a satanic world where Satan roams freely and destroys souls. There is a natural enmity within ALL men, whether or not they admit this against the Almighty. There is also a storm within men, the wind of sin and boisterous iniquity, and angry waves that come over our soul, our spirit, our heart and our mind. Man cannot understand because SIN blinds mankind to their true condition.

The root of ALL mankind’s turmoil is SIN.

All men have a journey through life, and no two fingerprints of that journey are the same. We travel through a maze of SIN and DEATH, and sin is the very storm of our soul. Since Adam brought SIN into the world, the world of mankind has had thousands of years in SIN: scheming, lying, and thieving for sin has been perfected in all categories of life, thus, the lust for sin is uncontrollable. Man’s deception, as the devil’s deception, is their most important product and resource. They have anointed their deception in the highest positions of governments and religions. The root of ALL mankind’s turmoil is SIN. FAITH must come into the journey of life to change man’s position before God. A man MUST be born again.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7)
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1st Peter 1:23)

We should acknowledge the storm around us and within us in our soul, in our spirit, in our heart and in our mind. We have to FEAR our very position before God, and to call out to the Lord Jesus Christ, Master, carest thou not that we perish? (Mark 4:38) Only the Lord Jesus can calm the boisterous waves of the sin of the world, both within and without. Only the Lord Jesus can say to the waves of sin and iniquity, Peace, be still. (Mark 4:39) To those who have been born of His Spirit, there was a great calm. Not just a temporary calm, but a great calm.
MY peace: the Master speaks, the Highest Himself comes to the lonely soul and says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27) My peace I give unto you. It is Christ who will guide the little boat of faith to a safe haven. He delivers us to the shores of eternal life.
In the life of Job, he experienced the great storms of life. Job is given to us as an example of the servant’s path through this world. God called Job His servant, a title given to man that is under God’s watch and care. When Satan came before the Lord in Job Chapter 1, the conflict was between God and Satan. The battle over sin and iniquity that began in heaven moved from heaven to earth where it became a battle over the souls of mankind. The Lord asked Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1:8) Then the Lord reviewed the life and testimony of His servant Job. And may I say to all those who name the name of Jesus Christ, and are born again, the eyes of the Lord are constantly beholding your testimony while the devil is constantly attempting to upset that testimony. The Lord said of Job, there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man. It was said in the position of a servant that Job FEARED God and eschewed evil. In our modern age, the fear of God is left behind. The general populace of the world does not fear God. The religions of the world do not fear God. The world church or professing church does not fear God. Yet, we are told, even as Christians, to have a FEAR and REVERENCE of the Almighty God.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: (Hebrews 12:28) For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:29)

If we go to Genesis Chapter 6, we will find that the world that was then had no fear of God in them. And again, we are introduced to one man of faith, Noe/Noah. In all the world, only ONE MAN found grace in the sight of the Lord. The Lord could see all and every person, He knew the life, the actions, what was in the heart, what was in their imaginations, and there was ONLY ONE MAN who walked with God. When God gave the command to build the ark, Noah began a testimony of a coming judgment. Each and every board, each and every day, as Noah labored on the ark, he was condemning the world that then was. This was to be an ark of safety, an ark of God’s grace to preserve life on earth. God was going to wash the world from all the sinful beings and of the evil that man had become.

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6)
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7)
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6:8)
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9)

The Lord brings out the words evil and heart and imagination. This is just a thought: does not sin drive, to a certain extent, our imaginations? In proportion, does our imagination give us more good than evil? As we look around, we see the same evil imagination as God saw in Genesis 6:5. In these three words: evil, heart, and imagination are brought out to take us BACK to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. By the sin of Adam, evil and not good became the dominant force in mankind. The proof is in Genesis Chapter 6. Sins (plural) brought out the evil imagination that consumed the minds of those of Genesis 6, and their hearts followed the imaginations of their evil minds and led to a trail of iniquity against God. But here is the mystery: FAITH was NOT dead, Noah stood alone, and was embraced by the faith of God. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7) Noah’s FAITH was not a dormant faith, for as Job, Noah was a servant by faith and moved with fear, and by building the ark of safety he condemned the world that then was. Noah was well aware of the most high, the HIGHEST Himself, for he walked with God. So, we see these two men: Job and Noah as servants of the most high. And in the book of Ezekiel, God placed these men twice with Daniel the prophet.

Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver [but] their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 14:14)
Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. (Ezekiel 14:16)
Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. (Ezekiel 14:18)
Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, [were] in it, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall [but] deliver their own souls by their righteousness. (Ezekiel 14:20)

Daniel was a man greatly beloved. There is a worldly phrase, a man is known by the company he keeps. What a wonderful thing to have your name connected to these three men: Noah, Daniel and Job. There are many lessons in these three names, and each one of these men feared God. Job feared God and eschewed evil; Noah feared God and condemned the world that then was, and Daniel also greatly feared God.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. (Daniel 10:8)
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. (Daniel 10:9)
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. (Daniel 10:10)
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. (Daniel 10:11)

What we discover in these three men is that they were righteous before God. God declared that they could only save themselves through their own righteousness. This seems to be a contradiction of Romans 3:10, As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. However, the truth is found in Romans 3:21 and 22. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. (Romans 3:21) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. (Romans 3:22) Here we have the righteousness of God manifested WITHOUT THE LAW, yet, the righteousness of God is witnessed by the LAW AND THE PROPHETS. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ, NOT IN but OF Jesus Christ, who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Through FAITH, we receive the righteousness of God as Job, and as Noah and as Daniel and ALL the servants of God. So we see these three men as the servants of the most high God, the HIGHEST HIMSELF, and then in the fullness of time, God sent forth His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) to be the servant of servants. The servant that was the Father’s delight, the HIGHEST HIMSELF humbled Himself and took on the form of a servant.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: (Philippians 2:5)
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Philippians 2:6)
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (Philippians 2:7)
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:8)
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 29)
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Philippians 2:10)
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:11)

Here in Philippians Chapter 2, we see the Holy Spirit looking over this great account of history when the HIGHEST HIMSELF came down to redeem man.

—–♦—–
The HIGHEST Himself HUMBLED Himself

The Author and Finisher of faith was manifested before man to take away the sin of the world. Again, in Hebrews 11:6, without faith it is impossible to please Him (God) and without faith it is impossible to acquire God’s righteousness, and this goes all the way back to Abel. God is not subject to the times of man. Although He interacts with time, time is not a controlling factor over God. He weaves Himself as a crimson thread throughout the history of mankind. In the fullness of man’s time, He interjects Himself as the Savior of the world.
Without Christ there would be no FAITH. The world would be faithless, for Christ is both the Author, as He is the Alpha; He is the Finisher, as the Omega of our FAITH. Before the cross, FAITH and righteousness existed as we see in Job, Noah and Daniel. Faith was in anticipation of the cross. When Christ gave Himself on the cross, FAITH was wed to God’s righteousness for Christ fulfilled ALL righteousness. Well, what about today? Who do you think has kept the Bible? What does your Bible prove? Your Bible proves that your FAITH was established: past, present and future IN our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith is also a paintbrush upon our mind, heart, spirit and soul. Faith builds a portrait of the ONE whom we worship, the Lord Jesus Christ.
When the Lord took the cup and the bread, and said, Do this in remembrance of me. It was not only to remember His life upon earth, but it was to bring the past to the present and to remember Him in His service in the very presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the building of the portrait of the Lord Jesus Christ, we MUST see Him as the great gift of God. He, who created all things, who was the beginning of the creation of God, the HIGHEST Himself, humbled Himself. This in itself is a mystery for Adam’s race. For in Adam, man has very little humility. Man hates to be humbled by others. Yet, the HIGHEST Himself humbled Himself. He had such power over His own omnipotent Being that contrary to the ways of mankind, He stood in all humility before His own creation, the creation of the race of man. He shielded His glory in His humility. This is very contrary to the ways of man. In this humility, Christ took on Himself the form of a servant: to serve as a servant of man; to wash the feet of sinners, to eat with sinners; to heal sinners, and to raise sinners from the dead. You may have never thought of it that way, but that was also a part of His servitude.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. (Isaiah 49:6)
Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. (Isaiah 49:7)
Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; (Isaiah 49:8)
That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. (Isaiah 49:9)
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them. (Isaiah 49:10)

Here in Isaiah Chapter 49 is a portrait of our Savior and God. He has the waters of life. In verse 10, it connects us to the HIGHEST Himself. How? As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. (Psalm 87:7) Even by the springs of water shall He guide them. And then, all my springs are in thee.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (John 4:10)
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? (John 4:11)
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? (John 4:12)
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: (John 4:13)
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)

. . . . all my springs are in thee. Here is the gift of God, the Lord Jesus Christ who has come forth from heaven in the fullness of time. He FREELY reveals His compassion for the woman of Samaria. This woman was held in contempt by the Jews, and as Eve was in transgression, this woman of Samaria had many transgressions for she was a daughter of Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (1st Timothy 2:14) She had met the HIGHEST Himself, but He had cloaked Himself in the likeness of a man. There was no beauty in Him that we should desire Him, He was a man of sorrows, and yet, joy would come in the morning. As the Lord Jesus explained to this woman at the well, that He was the Gift of God, and that all the springs of life are IN Him . . . . all my springs are in thee . . . But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14).
This was most definitely a Supernatural meeting. This was not just a casual random journey. Jacob’s well was there, and Jacob’s well was on the plot of land that he gave to his son, Joseph. Joseph was the savior of Egypt in the great famine, and in that he was also the savior of all of Israel who were also in Egypt during the great famine.

SIDE NOTE . . . . all my springs are in thee . . .
Now, I must travel a side road, I cannot help this diversion. The Spirit of God is pushing my cart of faith. When the children of Israel were in bondage in Egypt for four hundred years BEFORE the death of Joseph, he told his people to take his bones up out of Egypt. Here we go . . . . . when the nation of Israel went through the Red Sea it was a symbol of their death to the world, and what was with them? The bones of Joseph. When they came up out of the Red Sea, the bones of Joseph were a symbol of the resurrection of the nation of Israel. Yes, they wandered in the wilderness, but God built a nation and brought them into the land. According to Scripture the bones of Joseph (according to the traditions of Israel) were buried on that same plot of land where Jacob’s well was, and where the Gift of God sat on THAT well in John Chapter 4, verse 6. Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. (John 4:5) Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. (John 4:6)
And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. (Genesis 50:25)
And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you. (Exodus 13:19)
And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph. (Joshua 24:32)
In John Chapter 4, this was a purposeful meeting, the well was sealed and was not yet opened. The Lord SAT upon Jacob’s well as the springs of life in the parcel of ground that was given to Joseph and where Joseph was buried. The Lord Jesus was not only the springs of life, but He was also the resurrection and life. This meeting was an appointment with the woman of Samaria. It was totally Supernatural in the HIGHEST Himself. Consider the springs of life . . . . all my springs are in thee . . . Everything that was and is springs forth from the fountain of life . . . . all my springs are in thee . . . All that is within the fullness of the Godhead body springs forth from Christ . . . . all my springs are in thee . . .
Jesus Christ is the everlasting One. Jesus Christ is the ROOT of all life. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. Jesus Christ is the WORD of God. Jesus Christ is the LIFE and the LIGHT of man. Jesus Christ is all wisdom and knowledge. Jesus Christ is the water of life. Jesus Christ is the RIVER SENT FORTH. Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. Jesus Christ is He that liveth and was dead. Jesus Christ is the ROOT and OFFSPRING of David. Jesus Christ is the bright and morning star. Jesus Christ is The Holy One and The Holy One of Israel. Jesus Christ is the Infinite One. Jesus Christ is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. Jesus Christ is the Door to the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ is the Faithful and True witness. Jesus Christ is the King of kings. Jesus Christ is the Lord of lords. Jesus Christ is the God of all gods. Jesus Christ is the beginning of the creation of God. Jesus Christ is the HIGHEST Himself. Jesus Christ IS the  I AM that I AM. And that does not complete the list of who and what Jesus Christ was and is. For if all that was written concerning the Son of God, the world itself would not be able to contain all the writings. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (John 21:25) End of Side Note. . . . all my springs are in thee . . .

Christ is the Son of the HIGHEST Himself

We are not finished with the theme of The HIGHEST Himself. I want you to see the difference between visions and prophecy. Visions are the reality of what a man sees at that particular time and age. Prophecy is what comes in the future. The visions of Ezekiel are very important. Ezekiel saw on the throne the appearance of a man above upon it surrounded with flames of fire and lightning and thunder.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. (Ezekiel 1:13)
And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. (Ezekiel 1:26)
And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. (Ezekiel 1:27)
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake. (Ezekiel 1:28)
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (Revelations 4:2)
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. (Revelations 4:3)
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. (Revelations 4:4)
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. (Revelations 4:5)
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2nd Corinthians 4:6)

If one takes these Scriptures and connects them together in the Son of God, you will truly see the glory in your heart of the Spirit of Christ. We are so feeble when we write compared to the written and Living Word of God that is settled in heaven. The Word of God overshadows every person, for the Word of God is invincible, it is Living and the Spirit of Christ dwells IN the invincible Word of God. The progressive revelation of God IN His Word cannot be denied for Christ revealed through many generations of man, from Moses to Joshua, through Judges and Ruth, through 1st and 2nd Samuel, and you see the progression and onward to the book of Psalms. Through the prophets we have the progressive revelation of the Son of God and even in the New Testament the Lord Himself shows us this progressive revelation when He sat with the two on the Road of Emmaus. It was in the breaking of bread that He was revealed. He began at Moses AND the prophets AND Psalms and revealed to them the revelation of HIMSELF IN those ancient books.

And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. (Luke 24:13)
And they talked together of all these things which had happened. (Luke 24:14)
And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. (Luke 24:15)
But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. (Luke 24:16)
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: (Luke 24:25)
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? (Luke 24:26)
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. (Luke 24:27)
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. (Luke 24:31)
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (Luke 24:32)
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. (Luke 24:44)
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, (Luke 24:45)
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (Luke 24:46)

After Christ had presented Himself in the writings of Moses, in the Psalms and in the prophets, and when they understood the progressive revelation of HIMSELF in the Old Testament, He led them out to Bethany and was parted from them as He ascended into heaven.
Verse 52 is very important because they worshiped Him. And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. After He was parted from them, they WORSHIPED the Living Christ as GOD. Worship only belongs to GOD. Through progressive revelation in the Old Testament, we see all the facets of the DEITY of the Lord Jesus Christ. In several instances when He appeared in the image of the invisible God, He was worshiped by those who beheld Him. We should understand that our WORSHIP belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ for HE is the fullness of the GODHEAD BODILY, the HIGHEST Himself. We see progressive revelation even in the life of the Son of God while He was on earth. Through the gospels, the Spirit of God reveals the wonder of Christ, and gives us continuous views of the great power that He had to draw man unto Himself. Many times in His own words, the Lord Jesus opens our eyes to HIM through the Old Testament to reveal that HE is the knowledge and the wisdom that is given to man. Then through the New Testament, the apostles give us further revelations of the Son of God. We see things that are present, and things to come, but most importantly we see things concerning the HIGHEST HIMSELF.
We are blessed today in the darkness of this dying world to have God’s preserving hand on the written word of God. The HIGH and HOLY ONE has kept His word throughout millenniums. It is NOT up to man to preserve the word of God, or even a group of men, God HIMSELF is the KEEPER and the Preserver of His word. The same breath that created the worlds HOLDS His word on earth as He spoke it when He was here on earth. There are many formulas in Scripture: one formula that stands out in both the Old and New Testaments is how God enlightens those who diligently seek Him and His word. It is God who puts them on the right path of faith seeking the true path through the word of God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) They DILIGENTLY SEEK the word of His power. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3) CLICK HERE for more about ‘the word of His power.’
They rest in FAITH knowing that the word of God is settled in heaven forever. LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89) There is a bridge or path from heaven to earth. It is found in Galatians 4:6, And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Here is the Light and Life of the Spirit of Christ sent into the heart by God the Father to enlighten us and to guide us through the written word of God. But, WAIT . . . let us go back to Psalm 119, verse 11, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. In the Old Testament, the psalmist believed THROUGH FAITH that there was a connection with the word of God on earth to the word of God that is settled in heaven. The written word of God HAD power against SIN that when a man hid that word in his heart, he could push aside sin and keep his communion with God.
The path of the new birth is by the same Spirit that gave the written word of God, and the Spirit of Christ that was in the prophets, that SAME SPIRIT has been given of God the Father into EVERY heart of EVERY new born one IN Christ. In the new birth, we come into a new sphere, our world becomes a different place, a different world, we are in an earthly domain but we have been moved into a spiritual world: the very domain of the HIGHEST Himself. This spiritual world cannot be known by the natural man for the sin within him, as a child of Adam, has blinded him to the things of Christ. The words IN CHRIST are very important, for as He has by His Spirit come into our hearts THROUGH His ever lasting Spirit, He has received our spirit in Himself for CHRIST LIVETH IN ME. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) This one verse in the 2nd Chapter of Galatians contains much. This verse embraces us with the Spirit of the Son of God, as the Spirit presents to us that we SHARE the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, our sin being crucified with Him. This is NOT our imagination. THIS IS FACT.

As the Spirit of God moved over the waters of the void of the formless face of the earth in Genesis 1:2 when God brought Light and Life to a dark earth . . . in a similar manner, the Spirit of the MOST HIGH moved over our soul, restored our soul, and put His Spirit within us, and gave us NEW LIFE as a new born one, only this time, we live in a heavenly sphere because CHRIST LIVETH IN ME. This gives the Spirit of Christ omnipresence: in heaven and on earth in every believer.
The creatures in Ezekiel’s vision were moved by the Spirit of God, so in our day and age, the SAME Spirit of God moves the sons of God using both the written word and the Spirit of the Living Word who is Jesus Christ. Christ has full authority over the written word of God. There is none higher than the HIGHEST Himself, the Son of the HIGHEST. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:35) As Christ is the Son of the most HIGH, He is also the divine Priest of the HIGHEST Himself.

THE MOST HIGH GOD
and the
CONNECTION to MELCHIZEDEK/ MELCHISEDEC

1. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God. (Genesis 14:18)
2. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: (Genesis 14:19)
3. And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. (Genesis 14:20)
4. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, (Genesis 14:22)
5. Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies: (Psalm 78:56)
6. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, [and] spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come [hither]. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. (Daniel 3:26)
7. O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: (Daniel 5:18)
8. And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and [that] he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. (Daniel 5:21)
9. And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. (Mark 5:7)
10. The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. (Acts 16:17)
11. For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)

(Note: the numbers have been color coded to show that although the words most high God is recorded eleven times in Scripture: four out of the eleven mentions connect either to the king of Sodom, or to the heathen or to the servants of God. Out of the eleven mentions, SEVEN mentions connect to Melchisedec, or to the power of the Almighty God or to Jesus as the Son of God.)

There are eleven mentions in the written word of God of these three words: most high God. (Genesis 14:18, 19, 20, 22; Psalm 78:56; Daniel 3:26, 5:18, 21; Mark 5:7; Acts 16:17; Hebrews 7:1) The phrase most high God begins with Melchisedec in Genesis 14:18 , He is the priest of the most HIGH GOD. The first three mentions of the most high God were in the presence of Melchisedec. Melchisedec appears from on high when Abraham successfully defeated the four (4) kings of the East by God’s hand. Man fails to see that in the presence of Melchisedec the most HIGH God is mentioned. Three times this phrase most high God is connected to Melchisedec.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God. (Genesis 14:18)
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: (Genesis 14:19)
And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. (Genesis 14:20)

The fourth mention of most high God was to the ungodly world of the king of Sodom. The number four is the number of the world. Abraham, as a servant, had lifted up his hand to the most high God showing his servitude to the divine Being of God Almighty. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth. (Genesis 14:22)
These are directly connected to the most HIGH God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. And ALL three mentions show possession of both heaven and earth. This is a possession that man cannot understand. Man rejects that the most HIGH possesses all that is around Him. Well, that is just the Old Testament . . . NO . . . the LAST mention of these three words most high God is guess where and guess to who? It is in Hebrews 7:1 concerning Melchisedec. For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him.
This seventh Chapter in the New Testament in the book of Hebrews identifies Melchisedec and His Priesthood as the eternal Priesthood of the Son of God that Melchisedec and Jesus Christ are one and the same. In Mark 5:7, the same three words most high God was used by the demons when they recognized Jesus Christ as the Son of the most high God, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
In Hebrews 7:3, God denies the fatherhood and the motherhood of Adam and Eve concerning the life and birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. In Hebrews 1:5, God the Father DENIES Adam in every way when He proclaimed concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, Thou art MY SON, this day have I begotten Thee. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? There is no mention of Adam nor of Adam’s descendants in Hebrews 1:5. Again, the conception of the Lord Jesus was COMPLETELY Supernatural. Acts Chapter 20 shows us that the blood of Christ (even in the womb) was the blood of God SUPERNATURALLY. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28) God the Father sent forth the Spirit of His Son, and the divine Seed was placed in the womb of Mary.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16) In this verse, we have a description of the Seed, the divine Seed sent forth by God the Father. Man does not want to accept the SUPERNATURAL BIRTH of Christ apart from any human connection, except for the human connection of the virgin womb of Mary. In Hebrews 1:5, God proclaimed His Fathership of His Son, in the words, I will be to Him a Father and He shall be to me a Son. I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
In 2nd Corinthians 5, verse 19 we read God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. No where in Scripture are we told that God was in Adam. Adam was a created being. Christ was a Supernatural Being. Adam in his humanity was and is COMPLETELY alienated and separated by SIN from a relationship to the DIVINE BEING of the Lord Jesus Christ without the new birth . . . and by the way, the new birth is NOT of mankind, it is Supernatural, as we read in the gospel of John 1:12 and 13. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)

In the 11th Chapter of Hebrews called ‘the FAITH Chapter,’ the first person mentioned is Abel by his divine relationship to God by FAITH. There IS NO MENTION of Adam in this ‘faith Chapter.’ Man, through SIN, gave up his eternal relationship with God.
Returning now to Melchisedec in Genesis Chapter 14, in the fourth mention of the most high God: it is the testimony of Abram to the world when he told the king of Sodom, a child of the devil (John 8:44) I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth.  Abram’s testimony was in the presence of Melchisedec. Abram had lifted up his hand to the Lord, the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth. Genesis 14:22) Here is another wonderful connection to Melchisedec. The phrase possessor of heaven and earth, is only mention twice in all of Scripture, and it is centered around Melchisedec blessing Abram.
The following verses ties Melchisedec to His position as Priest of the most high God (Hebrews 7:1), and His origin or lineage was not of mankind (Hebrews 7:6), and thirdly in Hebrews 7:8, He did not have the nature of man in death, but He had a divine nature . . . he liveth. The Holy Spirit of God CLEARLY stated Melchisedec’s divine position, His divine lineage and His divine nature.

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. (Hebrews 7:6)
And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. (Hebrews 7:7)
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. (Hebrews 7:8)

To understand the seventh Chapter of the book of Hebrews, through FAITH one must accept the Supernatural. In fact, the book of Hebrews begins with the Supernatural. The very first word is GOD. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets. (Hebrews 1:1) We call this book the book of Hebrews, BUT God considers this book also as The Book of GOD. CLICK HERE for more about Hebrews 1:1.
It is His Supernatural title throughout the entire book in revealing His Supernatural Son. This divine introduction has preeminence over the entire book, for God overshadows and preserves ALL the Supernatural of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only in His manifestation, but in His relationship before the worlds were.

Mini Side Note: the phrase before the world is recorded four (4) times in Scripture. Note that the number of the world/earth is the number four.
1. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (John 17:5)
2. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: (1st Corinthians 2:7)
3. Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (2nd Timothy 1:9)
4. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (Titus 1:2) ♦ End of Mini Side Note.

Man remains CLUELESS to the Supernatural and Divine Being that is within the pages of the book of Hebrews. There is no other book in Scripture that God DEMANDS His preeminence in the very first word . . . GOD. All through the first Chapter of the book of Hebrews, God relates to us the Supernatural One, His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a tremendous revelation of the Son of God and can only be compared to the revelations of John when he received the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which is the final description of the One who laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the work of His hands.

The HIGHEST Himself came down to earth to redeem us to Himself through His own blood.
The HIGHEST Himself Placed His Own Blood on the Mercy Seat
in the Holy of Holies in the Holy Sanctuary Above

The book of Hebrews is the 58th book of the Bible. You know how much I like numbers, and the number 5 and the number 8 put together gives us a number salad to make the heart desire to see the mind of God. Number 5 is the number of grace, and the number 8 is the number of both resurrection and the first day of that particular week of resurrection. In the book of Hebrews, the word grace is mentioned eight times. (Hebrews 2:9; twice in 4:16, 10:29; 12:15, 28; 13:9, 25) Do you think that the Holy Spirit knows more than we do? Humbly, we bow to the mind of God. The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. (John 20:1) That SAME day, that FIRST day of the week is also called the eighth day, and the eighth day is recorded twenty-one times in the Bible. Which leads me to think that the eighth day is the day of the Spirit.

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: (Romans 1:4)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: (1st Peter 3:18)
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:11)
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. (Acts 2:24)

In the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, we not only see the movement of the Spirit of God, but through God the Father, Christ was raised from the dead. Here we see the intermingling of the Godhead bodily when Christ was crucified among us, He commended His Spirit to God the Father. He spoke as He was in the presence of His Father, into thy hands, I commend my Spirit. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. (Luke 23:46) The Lord Jesus, who is the manifestation of the Godhead bodily, told the woman of Samaria in John 4 that God is Spirit. So, therefore, we see the uniqueness in the Son of God commending HIS Spirit to the Father of lights and perfection: the FULLNESS of the Spirit. This fullness is revealed to us in Revelation Chapter 5.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Revelation 5:5)
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (Revelation 5:6)
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. (Revelation 5:7)
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. (Revelation 5:8)
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Revelation 5:9)
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:10)
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; (Revelation 5:11)
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. (Revelation 5:12)

Now, to us, who are at the end of the world, we see a continuing theme of ‘Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.‘ We see the more excellent sacrifice out of the flock of Abel. CLICK HERE for the more excellent sacrifice. We see John the Baptist looking upon Jesus, proclaiming, Behold the Lamb of God. A man enlightened by the Spirit of God, for God had informed John that THIS Lamb was His beloved Son. John was a man sent from God, not merely sent BY God but SENT FROM GOD. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. (John 1:6) The word from brings into play the determinate counsels and foreknowledge of God. God took the barrenness of Zacharias and his wife Elisabeth and from the golden altar answered their prayers. Now you know how I like to remind you of progressive revelation throughout the Bible, not only through prophecy, but in special articles that God has presented. The golden altar that Zacharias stood before as he offered up sweet incense to God, the incense spoke of the sweetness of Christ even before His birth. In the book of Exodus, the last article before the veil was the golden altar. From this altar, the high priest took coals and placed them in the censer and mingled the coals with certain spices thus forming a sweet incense. Then the priest took the censer through the veil into the Holy of Holies. The sweetness from the odor of spices flooded the room with the savor of heaven. In the Holy of Holies we have the ark of the covenant and at each end of the ark of the covenant were images of two Cherubim looking down on the mercy seat. It was on that mercy seat  where the high priest placed the blood of the lamb.

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. (Revelation 5:4)
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:20)
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. (Revelation 8:3)
And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. (Revelation 8:4)
And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. (Revelation 8:5)

In Chapter 37 of the book of Exodus God did not begin at the brazen altar out in the courtyard. He began in the Holy of Holies, then He worked outward to man as Christ first came down from heaven’s glory to fulfill the will of His Father and complete the determinate counsels of God. It was from the Holy of Holies in heaven above, from that high and lofty place, the Lamb of God descended into the world of mankind. It was there where the Lord of lords presented His righteousness to man. We see this in the gold that was preeminent in the Tabernacle. The mercy seat was made out of pure gold. The Cherubim look down on that mercy seat in wonder and desired to look into the mystery of the redeeming blood of the Lamb. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)
As gold was the material theme within the Tabernacle in the wilderness, the door of the Tabernacle prevented man from seeing the gold inside. That gold spoke of the righteousness of Christ when the Lord Jesus tabernacled among us. That gold and righteousness were hidden from the eyes of man, but not from the eyes of God the Father. God the Father beheld the purity and the excellency of His beloved Son. It is Christ who is the Minister and High Priest of the sanctuary above. He has entered into the Holy of Holies above, ONCE with His own blood to put away sin for us.

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; (Hebrews 9:11)
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: (Hebrews 9:13)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (Hebrews 9:24)
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; (Hebrews 9:25)
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Hebrews 9:26)

Here in Hebrews Chapter 9, the Holy Spirit wants us to see into the heavens where Christ entered into the Holy of Holies. However, He also desires that we should remember the journey of the high priest all the way back from the book of Exodus and the Holy of Holies on earth, and the pathway by progressive revelation to the Holy of Holies in heaven. There is also the theme of the sacrifice of the Lamb and His blood that flows to Revelation Chapter 5. It is there that we see the Lamb as it had been slain: a reminder of the sacrifice of Christ. Now, in this last book of the Bible, God takes us with this theme of the Lamb from the end to the beginning in Revelation 13:8. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. God knows the beginning to the end, and the end to the beginning. In Revelation 13:8 God reveals His foreknowledge from the foundation of the world. At the END of all things, we see the beginning of the creation of God and there in the determinate counsels of God, we see a Lamb slain. Yes, this is the evidence . . . progressive revelation. This Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ, is presented to us as OUR sacrifice from the foundation of the world. It was purposed by God to redeem us, a people of God to fulfill His determinate counsels and foreknowledge.
There are many springs and streams of themes of truth in the word of God. But one theme stands out above them all. The stream of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world to redeem us to God by His blood AND that HE, the Lord Jesus, passed into the heavens and presented His own precious blood and placed it on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies above. As the Cherubim looked down and as we look up upon the mercy seat through our heart, souls, and spirit, as John the Baptist, with all our affections, we declare, Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. The HIGHEST Himself came down to earth to redeem us to God by His own blood . . . God’s blood. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28) Meditate on the last twelve words of this wonderful verse . . . the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood . . . and then move on to Romans 8:2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. It is the Spirit of life that is within Christ Jesus who has made us FREE from the Law of SIN and DEATH. He has covered both SIN and DEATH with His own blood, and has redeemed us unto Himself, the HIGHEST Himself.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. (Psalm 87:5)
The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. (Psalm 87:6)
As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. (Psalm 87:7)

There is so much more in the eternal view of the HIGHEST Himself, but the pen of the ready writer must stop for now. Get some rest and I will see you soon. God bless and may the Word of God dwell in you.

Amen and Selah.
