THE WORD OF GOD
The Bible has a very special stamp upon it. Its pages contain the breath, the Spirit and the heartbeat of the Almighty God. Walk thou before me and be thou perfect. And at the same time, Walk with me and please me. To only those who seek Him is He seen as the Eternal Living Word of God. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1st Peter 1:23) Because the Word of God is living, it has a heartbeat. It has life. It has breath and it has Spirit, thus, all giving us the foundation of ALL truth. It was born out of darkness when God said, And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:3 and 4). And God saw the light and it was good. The Word of God is the very voice of God to all of mankind. It is a voice that penetrates the very inward heart of mankind.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Hebrews 4:13)
The Bible is the breath of life to those who listen to every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4) The Word of God contains the voice of the Father, the voice of the Son, and the voice of the Holy Ghost. It is compiled by the determinate counsels and foreknowledge of God for such a time as this. The Word of God is the Son in John Chapter 1, verses 1 – 4.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)
The Word of God is the voice of the Father. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:17) And the Word of God is spirit and life. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. (John 6:63) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6:17) What is the sum of all things? Believe God’s word, walk before Him and with Him. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3) And love the Lord with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (Matthew 22:37)
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (Mark 12:30)
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. (Luke 10:27)
And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)
