Things Not Seen As Yet
(Hebrews 11:7)
Part 3
The Battle Between Good and Evil Continues
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

The UNSEEN Sum of Righteousness
in the Things Not SEEN as Yet
It is FAITH that reveals the UNSEEN. It is FAITH that gives us the Spirit of Christ, the mind of Christ and the renewal of our conscience toward God. The Spirit of God beseeches us to let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5) The gift of the Spirit of Christ is from God the Father. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) The Spirit of Christ is a gift that reassures us of our salvation and gives us an understanding of the monumental work of Christ on the cross. As the mind and the heart are connected with the crimson thread of the Spirit of Christ so the mind and the heart are given complete understanding in the words of ‘spirit and life.’ Peter in his epistle, through the Spirit of God, informs us that the men of old, the prophets, had the Spirit of Christ within them directing their minds and thoughts to reveal THOSE THINGS which were NOT SEEN AS YET.
Noah was a preacher of righteousness, and he could not speak the words of righteousness apart from the Spirit of Christ within. As Noah spoke to a perishing world, we also knowing the things to come, condemn an ungodly world with the SAME SPIRIT of Christ that was within Noah, and the SAME words of Spirit and life we give unto you.
● Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1st Peter 1:9)
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10)
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11)
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)
● And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; (2nd Peter 2:5)

The UNSEEN Within a Measure of Faith and Fear
In the Things Not SEEN as Yet
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
In Hebrews 11:7 we have the last man of the old world by faith. We also have the progressive revelation from God in things not seen as yet. What is the progressive revelation of God? God reveals HIMSELF as in Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. From this first verse in the book of Genesis, God expands Himself in things not seen as yet. We look back to the mystery of the God of creation, and we see Him revealing Himself for man could NEVER understand the things of God without GOD REVEALING them to man. And the doorway to this progressive revelation of God is by FAITH. I believe that those who diligently seek God will receive from God the truth and the measure of FAITH in their commitment to seek Him. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) If we had no other Scripture concerning Noah, only Hebrews 11:7, this is what we find in God’s revelation of the man Noah in this verse. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
First: Noah was warned by God. Here is a righteous man walking with God and God spoke to Noah of His plan and purpose for the world. Second: things not seen as yet, by FAITH Noah believed that God was going to fulfill His judgment upon the earth. Thirdly: Noah MOVED with fear.
There are three elements of fear: the fear of man, the fear of things which are to come, and most of all, the fear of God. The fear of God applies to every person, that everyone should fear God, for He is the Giver and the Judge of the eternal soul. This soul is worth all the treasures, and more, of the world in which we dwell. The fourth point: Noah prepared by FAITH the ark of salvation. This brings in the fifth point . . . to the saving of his house. God had respect unto Noah and not only saved His servant but brought every member of Noah’s house through the flood. The sixth point is by the which he (Noah) condemned the world. We stand on the same precipice of evil today. The volcanic explosive enmity and open hatred for God is at an all-time high. The days of man are numbered, and the judgment is coming, YES, the things not seen as yet. The seventh and last movement of God with Noah that sealed all that Noah was before God, Noah became heir of the righteousness of God which is by FAITH.

Through the Line of Faith
Faith Leads, Faith Prepares and Faith Believes in the
Things Not Seen as Yet
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
Hebrews 11:7 begins with By faith. This same verse after giving all these wonders concerning Noah ENDS with the words by faith. What is the Holy Spirit disclosing? That FAITH surrounded the very being of Noah. FAITH led him. FAITH prepared him and FAITH led him in the path of righteousness to follow his God in things not seen as yet.
Genesis Chapter 5 is a Chapter all of GRACE through FAITH. We see in the line that God gives to us that it is a crimson line of FAITH established on the more excellent sacrifice.
We have men of FAITH carrying the torch of FAITH that led them to the same path of righteousness as Noah and all those who have lived by FAITH for those who are justified before God shall live by FAITH. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)
In Genesis Chapter 5 in this crimson thread of FAITH we have the truth of the work of the Holy Spirit of God for as Peter informed us that these men had the Spirit of Christ within. If they did not have the Spirit of Christ, then their names would not be in Genesis Chapter 5. This LINE OF FAITH was drawn together by men calling on the name of the Lord. God raised up prophets as Enoch and declared those things which are to come of things not seen as yet.
Noah finalized THAT LINE of FAITH in that Noah was a preacher of righteousness that Noah was an heir of God, and an heir of righteousness which is by FAITH. We, as the children of God today, being born again of the Spirit of Christ, have been given the words of Spirit and life to a world totally given over to all the abominations of Genesis Chapter 6 and Romans 1. The number six being the number of man and in Romans Chapter 1, the downward path of mankind begins in verse 18 which is three times the number 6 (3 x 6=18) . . . and six is also the number of the man, The Beast that is to come of 6 – 6 – 6. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Verse 18 describes our contemporary world for this world has been constantly under judgment since they crucified the Son of God’s love, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Man describes his wars and the so-called ‘natural disasters’ as things that are common to mankind. But as Noah preached, he warned them that the WRATH of God is revealed from heaven AGAINST ALL UNGODLINESS AND UNRIGHTEOUSNESS by things not seen as yet. The men of Genesis Chapter 6 were of the mind set of Cain. Cain KNEW the truth of the sacrificial lamb and the cleansing blood for the sin of man. Cain held the truth IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS and REFUSED to obey what God DEMANDED of him for the salvation of his soul. Therefore, Cain being of the wicked one multiplied upon the earth and in Genesis Chapter 6 we have the unrighteousness of Cain multiplied so that evil possessed their ungodly world. Only ONE MAN stood for God and preached the righteousness of God. In that preaching he told them that the WRATH of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and AGAINST all unrighteousness. As the sons of God, in our day, God has required of us that we, by FAITH, should look BACK to the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death upon the cross as the more excellent sacrifice.
Remember that the phrase more excellent sacrifice is used only one time in Scripture. This was the first DEMAND that was placed on a man of FAITH, Abel, looking forward to the sacrifice of Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundations of the world. The FAITH that Abel had is the same FAITH that has brought us to Christ. The world may change definition of words as it has constantly done in our Age of Insanity, but NO ONE can change the definition of GODLY FAITH, for God has SEALED THAT DEFINITION in the words of God in the more excellent sacrifice, which is the Son of His love. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2)

God IN Christ Offered His Soul for Sin
Was One of the Things Not Seen as Yet by Noah and the Saints of Old
In Ephesians 5:2 we have the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we see God the Father ACCEPTING that sacrifice, the offering of the soul of His beloved Son for the sin of the whole world. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53:10) When Christ offered Himself on the cross at Calvary, the very act of His submission was of divine importance for God not only offered His blood, but His SOUL was also offered for SIN. In Isaiah 53:10 the word SIN embraces the original sin of Adam AND ALL the SIN that was and IS IN Adamkind. Many think that repentance toward God embraces ALL in sin, and it does NOT! Repentance is for sin committed by the individual, the very product of sin is within man, of those things not seen as yet. Every child who has been born of a woman EXCEPT ONE has this inherent sin within. They are conceived IN SIN and IN iniquity, therefore, ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Since Christ IS THE GLORY OF GOD, He must come from heaven in a divine path of PURITY, that holy thing. Only in the purity of the heavenly Man could He offer His soul to redeem the souls of many. It is FAITH that introduces us to the divine will and purpose of the Godhead bodily in Jesus Christ.
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. (Hebrews 2:1)
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (Hebrews 2:2)
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3)
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4)
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. (Hebrews 2:5)
The first thing that the Spirit of God exhorts us to do is to heed the things that we have heard, and if we return to the days of Noah, he had direct communication WITH God, he walked WITH God and he had given himself to the things which he had heard, even the things that were spoken by the fathers, such as Enoch, who in turn had the Spirit of Christ within them. This is confirmed in Hebrews 11:2, For by it the elders obtained a good report. All that was known of Abel was passed on by these godly men who had the Spirit of Christ. Each man of FAITH in Genesis Chapter 5 left his own testimony concerning the God of creation, the God of mercy and grace, the God of the more excellent sacrifice and the God of love.
As we look to Hebrews Chapter 2, we are exhorted to take the same path of FAITH, we are to give the MORE EARNEST HEED to the things that we have heard. This means, making the word of God part of our soul, spirit, heart and mind and keeping those things before us continually and bearing the burden of the love of God to an ungodly world. The Spirit of God in Hebrews Chapter 2 describes what will happen if we neglect the word of God and the teaching of the Holy Ghost. It is evident in this world today that the word of God has been socialized by the devil and his Nicolaitan hosts.
For many of these fundamental truths have slipped from the mind of the professing Church. A social gospel is NOT a sacrificial gospel. You CANNOT turn society with good words and good feelings because that inherent sin in man will NOT surrender EXCEPT by salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ IN HIS SACRIFICIAL DEATH and shed blood. Only the infusion of the Son of God will give new life in a new creation. Christ told Nicodemus that a man MUST be born again. This new birth is not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, ONLY THROUGH the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of God can one be born again.
Now concerning Noah and his path of FAITH in the Old Testament, there must have been intervention by the angels of God because in Hebrews 2, we have a dispensation of angels which covers not only the old world in Genesis Chapter 5, but takes us all the way to Moses on the holy mount where God gave Moses the words of testimony for the children of Israel. By the Spirit of God placing this in Hebrews Chapter 2, we are exhorted by the Holy Ghost to understand the men and the purpose of God in the Old Testament by revealing FAITH in the beginning with Abel, we see in Hebrews 2 for us the words spoken by the Lord directly to usward in the gospels. The Spirit of God was sent down with the gospel to lead us into all truth and to keep us on a path of FAITH and understanding in the plan and purpose of God. Then the Holy Ghost instructs us to take HEED to them who had heard the Lord. Why? . . . because they possessed the Spirit of Christ within. Thus, they wrote as they also were led by the Holy Ghost of things not seen as yet. God was not going to expect His servants to rely on their imagination as the men of Genesis 6. As Noah received divine revelation of the approaching flood, it was directly from the mouth of God. In every child of God there is the Spirit of Truth within. The very word of His breath and power is contained in the word of God.
● But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)
● And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. (Luke 4:4)
● Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)
In both Matthew and Luke, we have God’s arithmetic in the number four, the number of the world, we have the four measurements of the world as a directive: north, south, east and west. This encompasses the whole world. Each one of these directives has a specific spiritual meaning and purposes in God’s plan. It is definitely a worthy study when you consider that The Tabernacle was established by directions of north, south, east and west. Through Scripture we have these divine directives related to the position of the world. According to Scripture, the Lord in His second advent will come as lightening out of the east. We know that the evil world empires are related to the north and the sons of Ham to the south. The west, as a continual measurement, embraces both the east and the west in a continuum of unbroken measurement. I have given enough thought, and it is up to you to set the hook and study for your own understanding, the north, the south, the east and the west. All geographical locations are within this sphere.
The Holy Ghost also doubles the number four in Matthew and Luke 4:4, or the number eight, or the first day of the week, the day of resurrection. It seems as if the Holy Ghost informs us TWICE in Matthew and Luke. In Matthew we have the gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, in that Israel shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. In Luke we have the Son of man who spoke on EARTH and NOW in heaven at the right hand of God He speaks to the earth, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (Hebrews 12:25)
It is evident by death and destruction that man today in his ungodliness does NOT LIVE by the word of God. Man in his sin wants to live independently from the word of God because his own sin alienates him from God. Just follow Adam and his descendants through history. The record of God shows the complete depravity of ALL of Adamkind.
Here is a message outside of the word of God. Study the nations and the peoples who have denied the word of God both He who lives in heaven on high and the written word of God on earth. See the poverty of the nations who have turned their backs on the word of God. See the complete spiritual depravity of man who has endured the long absence of the word of God. Take away the word of God from mankind and you will end up with the book of Satan, his one-word book, SIN that brings forth death.
Noah received the word of God from the mouth of God Himself. This was life to his soul. The words that I speak unto you are the words of Spirit and life. One of the greatest teaching points in the word of God is the repetition of the condition of mankind. One can only be delivered by the word of God’s power. When the Lord Jesus spoke, He proclaimed that the words that He spoke were Spirit and life. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63) As we study Chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews, we notice that there is a big gap between verse 7 and verse 8. A big gap between Noah and Abraham, of things not seen as yet. Yes, you got it! Noah is the last man of FAITH from the old world. Abraham is the first man of FAITH born in the new world. During the time period between Noah and Abraham there was NO FAITH on earth. This is why evil accelerated at such a rapid pace during that period of time. Goodness was completely thrown aside for evil. In the last days of Noah, undoubtedly, he watched his sons. There were no children born to Noah in the new world, and the direction or prophecy that was given about each son: Shem, Ham and Japheth were overturned by their evil hearts and imaginations. The absence of FAITH during that time period is very similar to the day in which we live. We, the children of FAITH, IN this present day and age have been warned of God to BUILD a house, not made with hands, but a HOUSE built in our hearts FILLED with the righteousness of God IN Jesus Christ and directed by the Spirit of God and the word of God. Over and over, we see the repetition of the word of God, By faith, By faith, By faith. Sixteen times this combination of these two words was used by the Holy Ghost in Hebrews Chapter 11. The number sixteen is only divisible by 2, 3, 6 and 8. Two being the number of witness, three being the number of the Godhead, six being the number of man and eight is the number of resurrection. Also, we have another combination of two words THROUGH FAITH, thus, showing the continuous line or crimson thread of FAITH IN ACTION. Five times this combination of words is used, and five is the number of GRACE. These numbers are NOT random. They have been penned by the breath of the Holy Spirit of God. As we see God speaking both in words and in numbers, we can feel the breath of God upon us.
As we have previously seen, Noah MOVED WITH FEAR. His FAITH had proven to him that God was TRUE and every man was a liar. Noah lived in a world of the children of Lucifer, and the lies of their father, the devil. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44) As you consider that we live in a world of Genesis Chapter 6 and Romans Chapter 1, time has separated us by a great distance, but the sin of the world today TIES us with the sin of the diluvian world, and the cord of its death and demise. Today, man wants to dilute and destroy the word of God. When the Holy Spirit has given the divine word to us by His complete direction without error in the KJB (King James Bible) man has NO authority over this word of God, so . . . in the state of the world today when man does not want to face his sin, (and by the way, SIN dulls the thoughts of man) SIN overcomes the truth when left unchecked so that many translations of our age are out of the evil hearts of man, and they are not the VOICE of the Holy Spirit of God. What I have written, I have written. There is only ONE VOICE in this ungodly world, the VOICE of God the Holy Spirit.

Heirship and Righteousness by Faith Revealed and Preached Through
Things Not Seen as Yet
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
In Hebrews 11:7, HEIRSHIP is revealed. Noah was also an heir of salvation as well as the heir of righteousness by FAITH. These two cannot be separated. When one becomes heir of the righteousness of God, which is by FAITH, one cannot be separated from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Do you see this truth? That we, the children of God, as Noah was, are heirs of the righteousness of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (Romans 8:16) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:17)
Do you see the distance between Noah and us? It is the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ as He completed the fullness of time in the sacrifice of Himself for us. God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. (Hebrews 11:40) This verse specifically joins both sides of the cross together. They which were of the OLD, and we who are of the NEW are UNITED in ONE WORK, the work of Christ on Calvary. This is a great truth that has been denied for many years by the cult of the Nicolaitans that have always attempted to find an inferior faith in the Old Testament saints. To back this up, we have Hebrews 12:23 and 24, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Hebrews 12:23) And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)
Now let us connect these things together. In Hebrews 11:40, it is they without us should not be made perfect. They without us cannot be made perfect. In Hebrews 12:23, we have just men made perfect, and then in Romans Chapter 1, verse 17, we have the just shall live by faith. FAITH is the common denominator of our position before God in Jesus Christ for those who are justified are made perfect IN Jesus Christ. This links us to Noah, to Abel, to Enoch, and to all those of the Old Testament made perfect by the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ by the more excellent sacrifice in the fullness of time on the cross of Calvary.
The world of destruction is fastly changing. The men of renown of Genesis Chapter 6 have reappeared to rule over the whole world. The mind set of the diluvian world has returned in the evil imaginations of man’s heart of evil. Religion has amalgamated into every evil of Romans Chapter1 in comparison with the past world and that past world has reemerged as well and is very much alive today. Man has reached the level of insanity where he cannot define his own being. At that stage during the old world, Noah was warned of God a hundred years before the flood, and for one hundred years there was a message of judgment preached to the ungodly. But this message was not new in Noah, for Enoch, also a prophet, preached previously the destruction of the ungodly in such a manner that his prophecy covered many time periods with judgment to come.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, (Jude 1:14)
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (Jude 1:15)
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. (Jude 1:16)
In the days of Noah, God was longsuffering. God waited and watched the deep scars of sin that held all mankind in its grasp. God was longsuffering as Noah preached the righteousness of God. Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1st Peter 3:20) Peter writing by and through the Holy Ghost brings the longsuffering of God three times in his two epistles.
● Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1st Peter 3:20)
● The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2nd Peter 3:9)
● And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (2nd Peter 3:15)
The theme of Noah’s preaching was the righteousness of God which is very misunderstood today. God IMPARTS His righteousness to man by FAITH AND FAITH has to be centered in the Person of Christ. Let’s relate to Noah in his world. God’s righteousness did not exist in the descendants of Adam. Only those who had the gift of FAITH were graciously endowed with the righteousness of God. When Adam transgressed at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam lost everything, even his natural life would be forfeited because of sin. Here is an example, although it may not be a pure example: man creates a vaccine, and this vaccine is imparted into man. The vaccine is designed to completely change the DNA leaving nothing behind with your original DNA. Now, you can never go back or return to what you once had. A similar change in our mNRA in the covid shot has changed forever the mNRA in those who received the shot. They can never go back. We are on the precipice of science falsely so-called in destroying the DNA of mankind. There is no formula of the mad scientist to return man to his original DNA that would leave the individual without hope. Now, when sin came into the world, Adam was completely changed, and thus, he could NEVER go back no matter how hard he attempted to return to his original self, for sin continually conquered him AND all of his descendants because of Adam we were MADE SIN and BY SIN came forth the curtain of death.
The future of SIN was the destruction of mankind for Cain, by sin, killed Abel. Thus, Cain brought the reality of sin into the cursed earth of thorns and thistles which was death. God told Cain, sin lieth at the door, and Cain in disobedience opened the door of death and stepped over the threshold in the world of sin. This brought man in Cain face to face with death in the slaying of his brother, Abel. This enforced the theme or the war of good and evil, thus proving the words of God, thou shalt surely die. This is why it was of necessity that Christ was MADE SIN for us. Although the venom of sin began in heaven when Lucifer brought sin into God’s spiritual realm, and for that sin, Lucifer and the sinful angels were cast out Lucifer down to the ground, or to the Earth. His rogue angels were cast into hell, bound in chains and they will only be released in the process of being cast into the lake of fire forever. Now forever has no height nor depth, forever has neither breadth nor measurable length, it is the fullness of all the pain and suffering that Lucifer and man has caused. Throughout time in history, they will live in torment for all their ungodly deeds and there is NO escape as they walked in sin, now their own sin will be their torment. As Adam was MADE SIN, so that death would reign by SIN, so Christ was MADE SIN for us so that we could be made the righteousness of God in Him. The final statement in Hebrews 11:7 is that Noah had become an heir of righteousness which is by FAITH. The first man of FAITH, Abel obtained witness that he was righteous because of the more excellent sacrifice. The Holy Ghost weaves the words FAITH, GRACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS together in the fabric of God’s determinate counsels which are ALL met and fulfilled in the Person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Having not seen as yet, yet we believe not only in the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ but in His power of an endless life which He has imparted to those who believe in Him. (1st Peter 1:8 and 9) (2nd Peter 1:10 and 11).

The Things That are SEEN Witness to Mankind
Through the Things Not Seen as Yet
Man in Adam lost ALL at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Romans Chapter 1 discloses that ALL without God are under the judgment of God because what was placed in them by God to MAKE man AWARE that there is a GOD they have rejected by an evil and ungodly heart. When Jeremiah wrote of the desperate and deceitful heart, he applied this heart to ALL of mankind. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Verse 9 of Jeremiah 17 discloses the condition of every person, that the very root of man, the heart is deceitful above all things. Then the Holy Ghost adds that this same deceitful heart is DESPERATELY WICKED, then the next statement is WHO CAN KNOW IT? All the knowledge and all the great institutions of man’s education can give neither a reason nor an understanding for the wickedness and the deceitfulness of the heart of man throughout ALL forms of societies and time periods of the history of man ONLY GOD can discern man’s heart. In verse 10 of Jeremiah Chapter 17, it is the Lord who searches the heart. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10) It is the Lord who tries the reins. Think of the example of the reins that controls the bit in the mouth of a horse. Now turn to Romans Chapter 1 and look at verse 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (Romans 1:19) God placed a flicker of light in every person. It is manifested in them and God has shown them in their conscience, in their inner being that HE IS GOD. However, sin in its darkness covers that flicker of light, and thus, man loves darkness rather than that light. God testifies of His invisibility by the things that He has created that are CLEARLY SEEN by ALL of mankind, that the things NOT SEEN have a testimony in the things that are made. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:21)
Both Cain and Abel stood before God. They were in the presence of God and they both KNEW GOD. Only Abel glorified God in the more excellent sacrifice. Cain was warned of the darkness of sin when God told Cain, sin lieth at the door. Cain opened that door of sin. He became vain in his own imagination. He brought his desires to God and NOT what GOD required of him, and because of his vain imagination, his foolish heart became dark. He went out from the presence of God into his own dark world of delusion thinking that he was wiser than God, but he became a fool and a child of the wicked one. The Lord had searched the heart of Cain, He had tried the reins of Cain, He had pulled the reins to the right, and Cain pulled his reins to the left and therefore, Cain was given according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. As we progress through Romans Chapter 1, we see the emptiness of man toward God. The further man travels into sin determines the distance he is away from God. When we approach Romans Chapter 2, verse 1, that man, every man, is without excuse. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. (Romans 2:1)
Noah was an heir which determines sonship. He was an heir of righteousness BY FAITH. This joins Noah in sonship as a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Noah had sonship through adoption.
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (Galatians 4:5) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:7)
We are brought into sonship by the ring of FAITH. It is the SEAL on that ring that determines our salvation. The seal on that ring of FAITH is the manifest image of the invisible God: God’s dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We (as the children and sons of God) have been made HEIRS of righteousness by FAITH in and through the more excellent sacrifice which is Christ our Lord.
As Adam brought sin into the world, he was MADE sin, so God sent His only begotten Son into the world, and during the hours of darkness on the cross Christ was MADE SIN for US. This was to fulfill God’s righteousness as God KNOWS the hairs on the head of every person, He also KNOWS the full tragedy of sin, and that ALL have SINNED and come short of the glory of God. Here is a fact that God sent HIS GLORY IN HIS SON to be made sin for us so that WE could be made the righteousness of God through FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ.
● But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (1st Corinthians 1:30) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (1st Corinthians 1:31)
● For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2nd Corinthians 5:21)
● Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (Romans 4:25)
● And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. (Philippians 3:9)
As we examine these verses, we see that man cannot obtain righteousness EXCEPT it is by FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ. This establishes the singularity of God’s righteousness above all. Christ fulfilled that righteousness on the cross at Calvary. He established righteousness in those of FAITH. That same righteousness paid the price of the ungodly although they refuse the payment of God’s dear Son for their sin. Shall not the Judge of the earth and of all men do right? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? (Genesis 18:25) The answer to the question of Abraham to God is that God upheld the PURITY of His righteousness in the death of His beloved Son on the cross of Calvary. It was there on that brutal cross that Christ LINKED those of FAITH of yesterday with those of FAITH today, and of those of FAITH tomorrow and those of FAITH of the future. Our FAITH today walks hand in hand with Abel’s FAITH in the more excellent sacrifice. Abel obtained a witness before God that he was righteous. God can justify those of faith THROUGH the preciousness and pricelessness of the more excellent sacrifice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Noah became an heir of God’s righteousness by FAITH in that same excellent sacrifice of God’s dear Son. I realize that these thoughts are far reaching for many mortals, but the infinite wisdom and knowledge of God through the Holy Ghost have revealed these precious thoughts and truths in the anointed word of God which is settled in heaven forever. In Philippians Chapter 3, verse 9, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith, pay attention to the last eight words of this verse, the righteousness which is of God by faith. Now compare this to Noah being an heir of righteousness by FAITH. What a incredible journey the Holy Ghost is taking us along through this golden path in the word of God.
When it comes to the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a small word that is very important, it is the word made. When you follow this word in relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be amazed at all the biblical principles, and of all the ministries of God in His Spirit concerning that His beloved Son was MADE FOR US. This word made although small, is one of the most eye opening words in all of Scripture. This word is used by the Holy Ghost in the New Testament two hundred and sixty-six times. These are not my numbers, but this is what is in the word of God. In these three numbers (266) we have God’s witness in the number two, in the number six this witness is to man, six being the number of man. In the double six, we have God’s testimony to the whole world in the sixty-six books of His anointed word.
There are many small words in the Bible that God assembles to bring out His divine truths. This is one of many evidences that the Holy Spirit presents the truth to man in all walks of life, in all levels of knowledge so that every person has an equal opening into the word of God. We should realize that the word of God is given to show the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We stand in the righteousness of God NOT through our own righteousness, it is Christ who is our righteousness, and we stand before God IN HIM. The gospel reveals the righteousness of God through faith, for the JUST shall live by FAITH.
● For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)
● Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. (Habukkuk 2:4)
● Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (Hebrews 10:38)
In all three of these books, the divine theme is THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH, for it is FAITH that reveals the righteousness of God IN Jesus Christ as the Bible teaches the children of God that they are part of His BODY. This is what is missing, we are not only part of His Body which makes up the Church of the Living God, but we are PLACED in the Body of Christ to SHOW US that we stand before God in that Body of sacrifice in the risen Christ in the sweet-smelling savor of Christ’s righteousness by FAITH. We are part of that Body that was prepared for Him. The apostles instruct that as we suffer with Him, we shall also be glorified together WITH Him. This is very high ground to stand on, and the only way we can stand before God is by FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter the time period in man’s history, it is CHRIST REVEALED in the preaching of Christ by FAITH. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. (2nd Peter 2:5) As Noah preached the righteousness of God to the ungodly world in which he dwelt, in his heart, he knew that he was JUST and that he was JUSTIFIED before God in the words that he spoke to a perishing world. In the same sense, the apostle Paul wrote that he was not ashamed of the gospel because IT IS the POWER OF GOD unto righteousness; thereby souls are delivered from the power of sin and death.
● For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
There is much POWER in the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus for it has delivered us from the Law of Sin and Death. He is the ONLY ONE who has the POWER of endless life which magnifies the Spirit of life within Him. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16) Once again we see the word made in this verse. We see the opening of the righteousness of God to mankind for Christ was NOT MADE under the carnal commandment that was given to Adam and Eve, to go forth and to multiply. The Lord Jesus was SENT from heaven’s glory as the holy thing from heaven, who was the manifest image of the invisible God. The fullness of God came forth in the fullness of time to be the fullness of God’s righteousness to those who believe in the everlasting Son of God.
Hebrews 11 gives us the history of FAITH so that we might see the FULLNESS of FAITH and the walk of faith of those who trusted the Lord in the keeping of their souls. Throughout all of Chapter 11, we see the Old Testament saints standing for God IN their immoveable FAITH. It is only in the LAST verse of Chapter 11 that we today are joined with those JUST men and women MADE PERFECT in Christ Jesus. Again, I remind you that FAITH is the ring that weds us to Christ, for He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2) Faith does not answer to the people of the world. Faith answers to the Gift of God who is Jesus Christ and He is the Author and Finisher of this gift of FAITH. The entire book of Hebrews was purposely written by the Holy Ghost so that man CANNOT deny the Holy image of Christ through the whole book both the SEEN and the UNSEEN as we read and study this book of the UNSEEN the heart of God reveals all the mysteries concerning His beloved Son, the first born of many brethren.
As Noah was the heir of righteousness through FAITH, this connected him directly to Christ, the Author and Finisher of FAITH. It was CHRIST NOT ADAM who came out from heaven. The glory of God came to earth to fulfill the righteousness of God. (Matthew 3:15) It was NOT what John did at the river Jordan, it WAS what CHRIST saw in the UNSEEN future as He began His journey to the cross. (Hebrews 12:2) In the fulfillment of righteousness the Son of God, the Prince of life who bore the name above every name, and is NOW in His glorified form and image, set down at the right hand of the majesty on high. He poured out His soul to solidify and to uphold that He is the ONLY Author and Finisher of our FAITH. Although we have been plucked out of a dark and sinful world, He is NOT ashamed to call us His brethren.
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, (Hebrews 2:11) Our spiritual birth is more important and much greater than our natural physical birth.
Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. (Hebrews 2:12)
And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. (Hebrews 2:13)
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:14)
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:15)
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. (Hebrews 2:16)
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Hebrews 2:17)
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)
We are born into the family of God BY the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. This center point in Christ joins us to Noah and to ALL the JUST men and women made perfect IN Christ. We might be separated from Noah in time and history, but through FAITH we are eternally joined in the cross of Christ. God has made the fullness of time the umbilical cord of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our spiritual birth is more important and much greater than our natural physical birth. Our spiritual birth overcomes that which is natural. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)
The love of our God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost, has overcome ALL of our sin and deficiencies to allow us to overcome the world of sin. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33) In John’s first epistle, in Chapter 2, verse 29, we read these words, If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. As Noah was a preacher of righteousness, verse 29 proves that Noah received the new birth through FAITH. He not only received the new birth, but he found GRACE through FAITH. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6:8) Noah was also a JUST man, verse 9 of Chapter 6, These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. He was also PERFECT in his generations of righteousness through FAITH, thus, connecting Noah with all those of Genesis Chapter 5. Noah had a visible relationship with God for Noah walked with God. When Moses was given these words to write, we should remember that God began the history of creation with HIMSELF. It was God who related to Moses the miracle of dust becoming man and formed in the image of God. It was God who informed Moses that Adam defiled that image by bringing sin into the world. These are the divine truths that Moses wrote from the lips of God while Moses was face to face with his own Creator. Today, we skip over Adam and sin and go directly to the cross. We treat the cross as a symbol, a miraculous vehicle that gives us NEW LIFE instead of going to the beginning of sin, and what sin does in man. Every man, woman and child have one common factor: IT IS SIN. The path and footprints of sin lead all to death. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Romans 5:12) The footprints of GRACE and TRUTH lead to Christ.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. (John 1:16) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)
When preachers of righteousness, as Noah, speak to a sinful world they often reject the message and refuse to acknowledge their sin. They make excuses for that which is inexcusable. The world, as Adam, has a sin blindness, and true sight in the world of faith can only come by the washing of the cover of sin from their eyes for we are ALL born blind to sin. The corrupt soul refuses to see their blindness. Through the lesson of John Chapter 9, it is evident that the man was born blind begged for his existence. Many see him after Christ opened his eyes and rejoiced in his sight, but few see the blind man made whole and his soul restored when the Son of God revealed Himself to this once blind man and the eyes of his soul were opened, and then he worshiped the Son of God. For the incarnate image before this man was the image of the invisible God.
Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? (John 9:35) He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? (John 9:36) And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. (John 9:37) And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. (John 9:38)
The Holy Ghost discloses the blind man’s NEW life in Christ for he worshiped Him, and we also see that Christ ACCEPTED his worship. If Christ was NOT the fullness of the Godhead bodily, He WOULD NOT have accepted his worship.
When the Lord Jesus spoke to the woman in the gospel of John in Chapter 4, He declared that the Samaritans did not understand the worship of God. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. (John 4:22) The GODHEAD is never divided. There is complete unity in words and thought. The ONENESS of the Godhead leads to the complete FULLNESS of time when Christ revealed Himself to the woman of Samaria, He explained that God is Spirit and they that worship God must worship Him in Spirit and truth. (John 4:21-26; John 14:6-12; Colossians 1:12-18; Revelation 3:14) These verses cover a lot of biblical truth and they also knit together the Godhead. (Colossians 2:9) It was impossible for Christ to have thoughts outside the parameters of the Godhead: Father. Son and Holy Ghost. To destroy the continuity of the Godhead man attempts to erase the unity of the fullness of the Godhead. The counsels of God are complete in the Father. Son and Holy Ghost, however, Christ is the manifest image of the invisible God, He represents the Father, Himself and the Holy Ghost for IN Christ is the FULLNESS of ALL fullness. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; (Colossians 1:19) The Lord Jesus is the TRUE WITNESS of God: yesterday, today and forever. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. (Revelation 3:14) The Lord Jesus is also the beginning of the creation of God. His words are TRUTH from the beginning, and throughout the entire canon of Scripture the Lord Jesus is the VOICE of the Living God as the faithful witness of the fullness of the Godhead. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18) The Holy Spirit desires that we should see the unity in Colossians 1:18. He as Head of the Church unites each and every child of God IN HIS BODY, therefore, it is HE who should be worshiped as the FULLNESS of the Godhead bodily.
Sin divided Adam from God and cut off the goodness of God from man, so that nothing good was found in man, and only God was and is eternal goodness, thus, within man, there was and is NO GOOD THING. God testified of the failure of man through the Father, through the Son and through the Holy Ghost. In the gospels, the Lord Jesus represented the fullness of the Godhead bodily. As the Father sent the Son, the Son testified of His oneness with the Father, and as the Lord Jesus was preparing to leave this world, He PROMISED to send ANOTHER Comforter, which was the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost then testified of both the Father and the Son. All the Scriptures that we have today has been given by the will and authority of the Godhead. The Lord Jesus testified that the words that He spoke were of the Father, and Peter in his epistle (through the Holy Ghost) stated that the prophets of old spoke as they were moved by the Spirit of Christ which WAS IN THEM.
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:120)
The pre-existence of the Son of God is disclosed by Peter. Here the invisible Christ imparted His Spirit to those holy men of old. This was the testimony of Christ Himself prior to His manifestation. It was then at His manifestation that grace and truth came by Jesus Christ as the physical image of the Godhead. The Son of God spoke the words of TRUTH that were given to Him by God the Father and manifest by the Spirit. There was always complete unity in the ONENESS of God.
● It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)
● For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
● But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:9)
In these three references we see the activity of the Spirit of Christ. In John 6:63 the Lord Jesus discloses that the words that He spoke had BOTH spirit and life within them. In Romans 8:2, it is the Spirit of life IN Christ Jesus. In Romans 8:9, it is the manifestation of the Spirit of Christ WITHIN the child of God that unites that child with Christ, and all those who have not the Spirit of Christ are none of His. The divine act of the new birth is by the Spirit of Christ sent down from heaven IN His creatorial role to MAKE a NEW creation IN each child of God born again BY His Spirit. We are NOT born of Adam. We are MADE through the Spirit of Christ a child of God. (John 1:12-13)
In the NEW CREATION all things are made new. At that point we, as Noah, become heirs of the righteousness of God through Christ. Listen to the voice of the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven and NOT the unfaithful words of man. There is no voice except the Spirit’s voice and He is HERE upon this earth to exalt the Son of God, to relate the love of the Father in the words, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. We should remind ourselves that the word of God has within its pages both Spirit and life. Noah, thank you for your faithfulness to the word of God. We are joined together in the fulness of time through the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus our Lord as heirs of righteousness in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. To God be the glory.
Amen and Selah.
