The Supernatural Man – Part ix
He is Wonderful
O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. (Psalm 105:1, 2)
 <<David’s Psalm of praise.>> I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.(Psalm 145:1, 2)
 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
  I have been considering the Supernatural Man a lot longer than just these messages. I can claim Him GOD, my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the God that I love. There is no other God. It amazes me that such a One could love me, that such a One has created me, and I stand in awe, as I declare, My Lord and my God. He is Wonderful is an expression of the heart, the Spirit of God anoints the inner man to see the beauty, the holiness, and the wonder of this great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
He Is Wonderful: Holy – Heir – Highest
 In our alphabet we have the letter H, this letter is full of His Holiness, for holiness belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Heir of all things. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;(Hebrews 1:2) In Hebrews 7:26 He is higher than the heavens. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; In the Psalms He is the highest himself. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. (Psalm 87:5) This gives us a view of the complete manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who is the image of God. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:3) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (Colossians 1:15) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
He is Wonderful: The Holiness of God – The High Priest
  We refer to this Supernatural Man as being Wonderful, for He is Wonderful in our hearts, our souls, and in our spirit. Although we do not see Him, faith takes us far beyond the thoughts of man. We ascend into the heavenlies in our spirits, and behold His Holiness, the Holiness of God. We see Him in the heavenlies as the Minister and Possessor of the Holy of Holies. He stands there with our names engraved on His heart. The cherubim cry out, Holy, Holy, Holy, as they look on with their wings overspreading Him, their eyes filled with the vision of the Lamb of God. How fitting that the Lamb should be the outpouring of He Himself: the outpouring of God’s love to mankind. For who is like unto this Supernatural Man? Give me his name, or his father’s name of this One who holds eternity. We can simply say, Behold the Man! For He is the True Man, the True Son of man, He is GOD! He is the Highest Himself. He is the High Priest forever after the order and oath of Melchisedec. Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 6:20) He is the High Priest that has been given by the oath of eternity, that He in His position would fulfill the glorious order of Melchisedec. In this eternal Priesthood we fail to see the ministry and the position that the Lord Jesus fulfilled when He was manifested upon the earth.
  John the Baptist, through the genealogy of both his father Zacharias and his mother (Elizabeth), had all the qualifications to be the high priest of Israel. However, John stood at the river Jordan baptizing with the baptism of repentance, and as his eyes looked up from the surface of the river, he beheld the ark of the covenant, the mercy seat, the Lamb of God, the heavenly Priest after the oath and order of Melchisedec. The Lord told John that they (together) must fulfill all righteousness; therefore, the earthly priest (John after the order of Aaron, the earthly priest) and the heavenly Priest (after the order of Melchisedec, the Lord Jesus Christ) both enter into the Jordan (the river of death). In John (in the priesthood of Aaron) we have man bringing himself to God. In the Lord Jesus (as Melchisedec) He brought God to man. Heaven is now open to see this display of God’s divine love. Here both men (one of the earth, earthly, and the other from heaven, heavenly) are standing on the twelve stones of Israel that Joshua had commanded to be placed at the feet of the priest when Israel (crossed over Jordan) going into the promised land.
  The Lord’s Priesthood is an everlasting priesthood, He not only fulfills it as the Man in heaven, but it is His right as the Man of eternity. He has been fulfilling this priesthood from before the foundation of the earth. As Christ was manifested as the Son of God, so also, He was manifested as the Son of man uniting both spirit and flesh. As the Son of God, He was also Jesus Christ. As He was Jesus Christ, He was also Melchisedec. In the construction of the tabernacle and all the articles within, why did God begin with the mercy seat? What realm did the Holy of Holies represent? Everything has to begin with Christ!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3)
  Even from the very first unseen molecule of matter, all things were made by Him, and all things began by Him. Although Aaron took blood and placed it on the mercy seat, the sin question for Israel was not confirmed until Aaron came out of the holy of holies, and all of Israel beheld the high priest appointed of God. It was at this point that Israel then knew that God was satisfied by the blood. Christ as the Ark of the Covenant, and as the Mercy Seat came out of heaven for us to be the sacrifice of God; and by doing this God’s mercy and grace was available to all. After the resurrection of the Lord, He returned to glory, He entered glory as the Lamb of God. He satisfied all of God’s righteous claims against us; thus, Christ has become our salvation, and peace with God. He returned to earth from heaven’s glory to show His brethren that He had been accepted as the sacrifice of God for their sins. He had been to the Holy of Holies in heaven, and His sacrifice was accepted as a sweet savor to God.
Touch Me Not — For I am Not Yet Ascended
  The words that He spoke to Mary at the tomb were profound, the tragedy is that no one hears them for the Lord Jesus described His first ascension to Mary. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. (John 20:17) Notice that in this text, it is an immediate action, I ascend unto my Father, this was not the ascension of Acts Chapter 1: verses 8 -11. Forty days later . . .
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:8-11)
  In recognizing the two ascensions, we have two characteristics of our Lord’s heavenly and earthly ministry. At His tomb He was fulfilling His order of Melchisedec. He still needed to present the sacrifice to God the Father in Himself. This was (if you can receive it) between God the Son, and God the Father. This would bring forth the anointing with the oil of gladness, and establish the emerald throne, the throne of righteousness. In Acts, Chapter 1, it is the ascension of the Man Jesus Christ. In this we see He has made of twain one new Man.
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: (Ephesians 2:15)
  The angels, the two witnesses (for everything is established by two or three witnesses) told the Lord’s disciples that this same Jesus will come again in like manner. This will be His return as Lord of lords and King of kings. Remember, the first ascension was to establish His redemption for both things on the earth and things in heaven.
 Side Note: For it was not only the things of earth that needed redemption and to be purified, but it was also the things in heaven as well. Angels sinned and rebelled against their Almighty Creator; therefore, the heavens are not clean in His sight.
 Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. (Job 15:15)
 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: (Job 4:18)
 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; (2 Peter 2:4)
 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezekiel 28:14, 15)
 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (Luke 10:18) ♦ End of Side Note.
 His second ascension was to establish Him upon the throne with His eternal glory. Let us now consider the Lord’s priesthood and His ascension: soon after His resurrection Mary could not touch Him, for He would be defiled as the everlasting and eternal Priest. When God appointed Aaron, he could not be touched as he entered into the tabernacle; Aaron had to remain pure as he approached the mercy seat nothing could defile him, so the heavenly must be purged by a greater priest (than Aaron) after the order of Melchisedec. One more thought for our consideration: there was a divine veil between the holy place and the holy of holies, when Aaron entered into the holy of holies, he was no longer seen, or could be seen by man. As the Lord ascended in His first ascension there was no human witness to that ascension (that is: entering into the holy of holies) as I have said previously, this was to present Himself a sweet savor unto God. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2)
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (Hebrews 9:23)
Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. (Hebrews 8:5)
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (Colossians 1:20)
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: (Ephesians 1:10)
  After satisfying the claims of heaven, He descended back to earth to reveal Himself as the accepted sacrifice of God to His brethren, to Israel, and to the world. It was His high Priestly responsibility to ascend Himself to the True Holy of Holies in heaven, and then return to reveal Himself unto His brethren, disciples, and followers.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (John 20: 28-31)
  The declaration of Thomas is the confirmation of acceptance of Christ in heaven above. Thomas proclaimed, My Lord and my God, there was no doubt from the man of doubt. Just as Aaron was revealed to Israel and joy filled their hearts when Aaron appeared at the door of the tabernacle, so the joy of the salvation of the disciples was met by the image of the invisible God, the Man Jesus Christ. I will ask a series of questions: Who could be the divine Son? Who could be the great Prophet? Who could be the High Priest of eternity? Who could be the eternal Word? Who could be the Lord of lords and King of kings? Who could be the highest Himself? And who could be higher than the heavens? Who could be the Lamb of God? Who could of twain make one new man? We could go on and on, but the answer is: He who is Wonderful. The Wonderful One, the only One, the great I AM, the Captain of the Lord’s host, the only True and Righteous Man, and we declare, Behold the Man! The only true lips that has no guile. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. (Psalm 24:3, 4) The voice of God, for never a man spake like this man. And when the Spirit of God closes the gospel of John, the Spirit speaketh expressly. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (John 21:25)
He is Wonderful: The Image of EternityÂ
  In this closing statement in the gospel of John, the Spirit of God takes our thoughts of the Supernatural Man to a pinnacle of thought: if all the works of Christ could be revealed through books this world could not contain them. Man can only seek the mind of the Spirit of God, for in the mind of the Spirit, God will reveal the glories of the image of God, the image of eternity, and this glorious image: the glory of Christ. His glory outshines the natural sun, He is truly the Supernatural Light, and this light is brighter than all temporal light.
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (Matthew 17:2)
And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. (Mark 9:3)
And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. (Luke 9:29)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: (Acts 9:3)
And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. (Acts 22:6)
At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. (Acts 26:13, 14)
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. (Revelation 1:16)
  All these references have one common denominator, the Supernatural Man, the Lord of glory, Jesus Christ. All these references are of one Being, the eternal God. Think of the power that God unleashed out of darkness. His voice spoke the creation into existence. His mighty plan all drawn out in the mind of eternity; then with the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3) all began to take shape. Eternity now began to unleash the power of God as worlds and stars came spinning out of the darkness, the entire cosmos was shaped by the infinite power of God: the God of ALL power. So powerful were His divine decrees that it left His footprints on the dust of creation. Throughout the entire universe His voice echoed, and continues to echo today through the Holy Spirit of God. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, the Lord of lords had dominion over all things. He created the heaven, this would be His throne, from this great realm of His holy and righteousness He would lay the foundation of the earth. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (Hebrews 1:10) Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. (Psalm 102:25)
  This is His work. This is the work of the Supernatural Man. He reveals Himself from heaven’s glory to the children of men. These revelations were given to Moses, then Moses wrote the revelation of creation, and the revelation of the Creator in Genesis Chapter 1. God did not bring us to Genesis Chapter 1 to see the seven days, or the darkness of the deep, we are to see the marvelous Being of GOD! Who is the God of creation, who is the God of the seven days, who is the God over the darkness and the deep? for by Him were all things created that were created; and for Him was all things created, all for His good pleasure.
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (Revelation 4:11)
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (Acts 17:24)
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: (Ephesians 3:9)
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:15, 16)
And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: (Revelation 10:6)
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation 1:8)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3)
He is Wonderful: The Power Who Holds All Things Together
 All these verses only give us a glimpse beyond the veil. But what a glimpse of our Savior. From Genesis to Revelation He is the power that holds all things in place. He is the power of redemption. He is the power that will give us a new heaven and a new earth wherein righteousness will dwell in His Person with His redeemed. This new heaven and earth will hear the echo from the river Jordan, It becometh us to fulfill all righteousness.
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:15-17)
  I would like us to see a comparison between Matthew Chapter 3, and Chapter 3 of the book of John. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:15-16)
  In the book of Matthew we have the Lamb presented by the priest to be slain, and set forth His blood as accepted by God. The unspotted Lamb had appeared, He was here to take away the sin of the world. He was pure without and within. (Leviticus 1) In John Chapter 3:15 and 16 we have the Lamb slain and lifted up before the world to express God’s love for man: For God so loved the world. In Matthew’s gospel, the Lamb of sacrifice had to be accepted, God the Father pronounced His acceptance from heaven. In Leviticus, the Lamb was brought to the high priest, it could have no blemish without, or within. God presented His Son at the river of death (the Jordan) Christ was presented to John. John had the right to the earthly priesthood, the Lamb is also presented to Israel, for there was a great multitude at John’s baptisms. In this act God also presented the sacrifice to the whole world, and Christ received divine acceptance, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Compare the mind of the Spirit in, Ephesians 1:9-11: Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
  Let us travel through time to the cross at Golgotha. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,(Ephesians 1:17-18)
  Let us now travel to heaven where the anthems ring in song with the praise of God. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2) The sweet savor of Christ spiritually elevates us to God. Compare this with Leviticus 1:9, But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. In both Matthew 3 and John 3, we have the divine Son of God fulfilling all righteousness and will also be completely fulfilled in the new heavens and the new earth. Our glory will be God dwelling with man, and all in Himself with the total righteousness of God.
He is Wonderful: He is the Image of God: He is God’s Glory
  We have been considering the past when Christ was manifested among men. We have also looked into the future to the new heavens and the new earth, so now we come to our present age. We should now consider the Man in heaven for us, Jesus Christ the righteous. As the High Priest (forever after the order of Melchisedec) He desires to communicate to us by His Spirit from the throne of grace; and why not? for He has loved us unto death, even the death of the cross. The work of redemption is finished, and therefore, we have His master plan before us.
 Whenever I am building anything, I gather my materials first, whether it be wood, metal or stone, then I set my plan. Sometimes, the only plan that I have is what is in my head; so, I set to work, and when the projected is completed, I stand back and look at what has been accomplished. Then, I pick up my tools, and sweep up, and put things away before I move the project into the house. So too, God has been fulfilling His master plan of redemption, and when He is finished, He will pick up and sweep, then He will bring us into His new heaven and His new earth. I know. . . . this is a very simple explanation for this mighty work of God, but God is dealing with a simple man, and sometimes a simple explanation is most enlightening.
  We are the children of redemption. We are the adopted sons of God. And we will dwell with a Holy and Righteous God in the new heaven and the new earth for all eternity. When I speak with people, I often hear their one string instrument, Millennial kingdom, millennial kingdom. It seems like they cannot go any further than the last kingdom on earth (or the last earth kingdom). We should consider the new heavens and the new earth for everything that has been defiled will not and cannot enter into this new realm of the new heaven and the new earth. Many do not want to see this old earth go, but it’s in God’s plan to burn it up and to create a brand-new heaven and earth wherein He will dwell in righteousness. I can only write and speak for myself for every man’s heart has to touch heaven to see and to know the glories of Christ.
  He sits upon an emerald throne, and only the High Priest forever after the order of Melchisedec could walk through the hearts of men with His divine light. In Him is life, and that life is the light of men. As in Genesis 1:3, and God said Let there be light. He revealed Himself as the Light out of darkness; so, we see the conclusion in John 1. He in the beginning of the seven days displayed Himself (Psalm 87:5) as light. His glory was that Light. This connects us with Christ in the 1st Chapter of the Gospel of John. This Supernatural Man was and is God’s glory! God, Himself, is expressed in the image of Jesus Christ. The light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. Compare once again Genesis 1:3 and 4 (And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness) with John’s Gospel, Chapter 1, verses 4 and 5, In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
He is Wonderful: The Son of God
  Christ is the embodiment of God’s Light and God’s glory. He is also exalted higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:26) We can only see one who is wonderful, and possesses a name from heaven, a wonderful name. Have you considered the divine title or titles that were given to the Lord Jesus upon His manifestation and even before His manifestation. As the angel of God related the name of John to Zechariah, the angel also related the name or title of Son of God to Mary in Luke 1:35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
  This begins to build the name that is above all the names of men, a name that is above all names of angels, a name above all names. At His birth, He was called the Son of God; at His death He was called the Son of God. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (Matthew 27:54) God the Father would keep the record straight both at the birth of His Son and even at His death. The angel was the witness from heaven, shall be called the Son of God. The Roman centurion was the closing witness at the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. The conclusion, Truly this was the Son of God. One was the angelic pronouncing His glory, the other was a man on earth recording that glory. This can only be related by God the Holy Spirit working in this man, the Roman centurion. And so, the Holy Spirit reveals this name with one Scripture to announce, and the other Scripture to confirm. We see the divine hand of God throughout the entire Bible, adding line upon line, and precept upon precept. To add to this wonderful truth of His name, consider Luke 23:47. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
He is Wonderful: Christ the Lord
  Again, God sends a name from heaven, this time, it is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11, For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. The angel not only proclaimed Him as Christ the Lord but pronounced Him as Savior. And when the eight days were accomplished, He was also called Jesus (which is Savior) which had been pronounced from heaven by the angelic hosts. (Luke 2:21) And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. All these names were given from heaven. They were given and confirmed on the earth.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Philippians 2:9-10)
He is Wonderful: He is Jesus (Savior)
 The apostle Paul, through the Spirit of God, gives us the final glory of the name which is above every name. God the Father will have His Son glorified before man. As the Lord Jesus was glorified before Peter, James, and John, as John wrote, We beheld His glory. They saw the glory of the Son of God on this earth upon the holy mount. The Lord Jesus Christ is highly exalted and this wonderful One with the name Jesus (Savior) has been made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews7:26) His name is above every name through all the course of time there is no other name higher, and this name will continue throughout all eternity. One name will stand above all names, Jesus, Savior. Now at this name every knee shall bow. This takes in the confines of heaven, and all the hosts in heaven will bow to the name of Jesus; all the hosts of the redeemed will bow to His glory, and bow to the name Jesus. Everyone will take a knee, for every knee shall bow. But heaven is not alone, for earth, earth, O earth will also bow the knee. The great type of this is Joseph. I refer you to Genesis 41:39-44.
 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
  Through this great example of Joseph, everyone bowed the knee, and therefore, when the Lord returns to earth everyone will bow the knee to the Lord of lords, and King of kings. The Lord Jesus who is truly the finality of the revealer of secrets will have His glorious position and His throne over this earth. But that’s not all: for under the earth the angels in chains, the host of demons, the haters of God, the men of renown, the once great kings of the earth, and men without God (now in the fires of judgment) will bow their knee. The Jews who yelled, Crucify him, now will bow the knee to this wonderful name. Pilate will now bow his knee, the Roman centurions who mocked him when they bowed in jest, will now bow their knees; they will now in all reverence bow the knee. Judas Iscariot will bow the knee. Caiaphas and Annas will bow the knee. On and on, then the last . . . the old Serpent, the Devil will bow his knee. (Revelation 12:9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. I use this for name purpose only, for we know that this deceiver also bears the name Apollyon in Revelation 9:11, And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. This great deceiver will finally bow the knee to the name that is above every name, the name of Jesus. And every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. As the sun is now coming up and a new day approaches, I leave you with a question that the Lord asked His disciples, Who do men say that I am? At the wonderful name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, for truly He is Wonderful. Amen.
