The Still Small Voice

The Still Small Voice

1 Kings 19:12

And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

Be still my heart, listen, be patient, O my soul and wait . . . He is near. The whisper of His voice, the love in His presence is as the dew of Hermon. His light of life lights the precious room in the heart and in the soul. It is His light and only His light, the glory that the world cannot behold; a glory that the world cannot contain; yet, in the small room of my heart and soul this light burns brighter than any light known to man. The burning presence of love unbounded, the tears of grace that have washed sin from the room, the heavenly sacrifice of His own blood has prevailed for me. O listen, and hear the still small voice “Come up hither.” Amen
