Come and See – Chapter 10 of the Gospel of John – Verily, Verily – Part xiii – Because I Go Unto My Father –

Chapter 10 of the Gospel of John

Verily, Verily

Part xiii

Because I Go Unto My Father

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

♦

Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. (Psalm 66:5)

For I [know] their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see my glory. (Isaiah 66:18)

♦

He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about tenth hour. (John 1:39)

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. (John 1:46)

And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. (John 11:34)

♦

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; (Philippians 1:27)

♦

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. (Revelation 6:1)

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. (Revelation 6:3)

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (Revelation 6:5)

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. (Revelation 6:7)

Introduction to Verily, Verily

—— ♦——

Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. (John 13:38)

In our study of John 10:1, I mentioned, Verily, verily, or truly, truly, or Amen and Amen, and I am moved to return to this important point. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1) In the racing world, it would be known as a pit stop to prepare our car for what is ahead, to open up our chances to see the invisible. So, I am moved to return to this point of importance not only for the value of Verily, verily, but how the Spirit of Christ uses this combination throughout the gospel of John, and ONLY IN the gospel of John. It is evident that the three gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke are predominately of the earth. However, John by the Spirit of God takes us into the unseen world, into the mind of Christ, and into the revelation of God. We pass from the temporal world to the spiritual world in the first three gospels in that we can see the horizon of the earth: Matthew is the gospel of the king, Mark reveals God’s faithful servant in every way, and Luke unfolds the Son of man in a divine form as the Man from heaven. However, in John, we have heavenly things such as the eternal Word being made flesh and being God.  Angels ascend and descend upon the Son of man as the Spirit of God looks down from above wherein the three preceding gospels it is the world looking up. In the gospel according to John, it is the Spirit of Christ opening to us spiritual truths found nowhere else in the Scriptures. This reveals the very importance of Verily, verily in the gospel of John. Before we begin, I will list all the verses that have the words Verily, verily.

1. And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. (John 1:51)

∼

2. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

3. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)

4. Verily, verily, I say  unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. (John 3:11)

∼

5. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (John 5:19)

6. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)

7.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (John 5:25)

∼

8. Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. (John 6:26)

9.Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. (John 6:32)

10.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (John 6:47)

11.Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (John 6:53)

∼

12. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (John 8:34)

13. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (John 8:51)

14. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58)

∼

15. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1)

16.Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. (John 10:7)

∼

17. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24)

∼

18.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. (John 13:16)

19. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. (John 13:20)

20. When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. (John 13:21)

21. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. (John 13:38)

∼

22.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

∼

23.Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. (John 16:20)

24. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. (John 16:23)

∼

25. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry [thee] whither thou wouldest not. (John 21:18)

The different subject matter found with each Verily, verily is extremely important. The Spirit of God emphasizes these verses so that we might know and understand the mind of the Spirit of Christ. Let’s take each Verily, verily together, and open the mind of the Spirit so that we might understand and receive of the glories of Christ. This will take some time, but I believe that this will be our only opportunity to see these truths within the veil. I suggest that you read the previous articles on Verily, verily.

Christ is the Evidence of Things Not Seen

—— ♦——

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

In the 14th Chapter of the gospel of John, we get another glimpse of the unseen. We are taken by the Son to His Father’s house, and within this house there are many mansions. We have pierced the evidence of things not seen. Remember that the gospel of John not only reveals the Lord Jesus, but we have the full revelation of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus referred to His Father many times in this gospel more than in the other three gospels. He also gives us the evidence of God the Holy Spirit, past, present and future in Chapters 14, 15 and 16. The manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ became the evidence of things not seen. God the Father sent His Son, and the unseen Father revealed the Son AND Himself in the same Person. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (John 14:9) The unseen in the manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ revealed the seen of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He IS the ONLY begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father: past, present and future tense. To pierce the unseen, one must have the gift of faith given by the great Law Giver the Lord Jesus Christ by the Law of Faith. This is not the Law given at mount Sinai, but a law given after the fall of man. The first person who received the Law of Faith was Abel, and his faith was the substance of things hoped for and was the evidence of things not seen. To fulfill the Law of Faith one must believe.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (Romans 3:27)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

This Law of Faith was given after the Law of Sin and Death. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2) The Law of Faith is a gift from God and comes through Jesus Christ. He is the Possessor of all faith for He is the Author and Finisher of faith. It is the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) We receive faith through revelation. Yes. God reveals faith. For without faith it is impossible to please Him. The word please in Hebrews 11:6 is the same as, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased in Matthew 3:17. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. This was also repeated on the holy mount.

Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. (2nd Peter 1:15) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (2nd Peter 1:16) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (2nd Peter 1:17) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. (2nd Peter 1:18)

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. (Matthew 17:5)

And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. (Mark 9:7)

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. (Luke 9:35)

Well what about the gospel of John? Faith will give you the answer. The answer is in John 1:14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. The we in this verse was Peter, James and John. They beheld His glory on the mount which was the glory of the only begotten Son of God, which later Paul described in Hebrews 1:3, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. The impact of this verse in Hebrews is beyond time and space. It is part of the unseen of faith, and those things that are put forth. Here we see not only the glory of God, but the brightness of God’s glory, the full effulgence of God’s glory in the manifestation of His Son as the express image of God, truly the glory of God in the face of the Lord Jesus Christ. The answer of John in beholding the glory of God was staring us right in the face all the time. But the Spirit has revealed it to us just as in Chapter 4:23, and verse 24 that God is Spirit. Can you decipher this? You can only receive it by revelation from God that God is Spirit, and this Spirit existed BEFORE creation. In His spiritual realm He convened His determinate counsel. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: (Acts 2:23). Why then did God wait so long to reveal the fullness of His counsel in the manifestation of His beloved Son? It was for and because of the fullness of time.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (Galatians 4:4) To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (Galatians 4:5) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6)

The Almighty God is a God of progressive revelation. We see this throughout the word of God: here a little, there a little, line upon line, and precept upon precept. So when did this ALL start in the determinate counsels before creation? Before time God convened through Father, Son and Holy Spirit His determinate counsels. The revelation of Jesus Christ is not just the last book of the Bible, but the revelation of Jesus Christ begins in Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  It is here that the Lord Jesus revealed Himself as the Creator of both heaven and earth. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2) All the understanding that we receive from the Spirit of God is according to our faith. Faith becomes the article, then substance of the Holy Spirit within to reveal the evidence of things not seen. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) This brings us back to our verse in John 14:12, and let’s just include verses 13 and 14.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:13) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14)

Faith is the Evidence of Things Not Seen

—— ♦——

One must travel into the unseen to understand the seen.

The first thing that we notice in verse 12 is that it is specifically addressed to he that believeth. This is NOT a statement to the world, or to the false apostate church. It is to HE THAT BELIEVETH, which again returns us to the element of faith in Hebrews 11:6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. We need to be aware of this substance of faith, this tangible article within us that God has given to EVERY believer, and faith will take us to the evidence of things not seen. It will also help us to understand the things around us and those things that are seen. However, one must travel into the unseen to understand the seen. Everyone today wants to understand the future, what is coming in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and it seems that no one wants to understand the past or the present which concludes or is finalized in the future.

We must treat God’s determinate counsels as past, present and future for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have given us the marvelous creation that He has created all according to His determinate counsels. For God IS Spirit, as documented in John Chapter 4, so His counsels began within the Spirit. Out of the Spirit was revealed the Godhead, and out of the Godhead came the image of God in the Son of the first born. The very image of the invisible God, and the revelation of the unseen that the unseen became tangible in the seen. And in the unseen, all the things that are seen are made by Him and for Him. God is Spirit and within the Spirit He has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Body that was prepared for the Lord Jesus in Hebrews 10:5 is the body that was manifested as the image and fullness of the Godhead BODILY. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9) This is the image that made the world which is confirmed in Hebrews 1:2 and in Genesis Chapter 1. In Genesis Chapter 1 it was God who was in the beginning. It was not the beginning of God. It was the beginning of His creation, and the very beginning was the heavens . . . . . No, not the stars, not the vast area of blackness, but a VAST spiritual world, this was/is His kingdom of heaven which He created, and in this kingdom He placed His creatures, the angels, the Seraphims and Cherubims, dominions and authorities, the kingdom of heaven is truly a kingdom and realm of a thrice holy God. These angels, and their positions, both were specifically related to worship and serve the Almighty. This was and is a tremendous spiritual domain in which the occupants had vision and tangible objects in a realm separated from what was to come. God then, after the heavens were established, set His attention to create the stars in the heavenlies, and the worlds to come. The stars are His handiwork. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands. (Hebrews 1:10) This was all done by the Son of God, who is also the Heir of all things. God is specific when He declared that BY HIM HE ALSO MADE THE WORLDS. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2).

Remember that this vast kingdom of heaven had an established Throne, it had an established society of angels with different services and different authority, and this is where the rebellion of Lucifer began. It began by sin in heaven. (Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28) See how easy it is to see God’s revelation when it is rightly divided by God’s Spirit. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2nd Timothy 2:15) We all need to remember that the Spirit of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.(Revelation 19:10) This is the same Spirit that was in the holy prophets of old.

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)

In Revelation 22, verses 8 and 9, we find the worship of God BY the prophets of old in the testimony that was given to John. In the closing verses in the book of the Revelation we see the grand conclusion of the mystery of God. God gives a voice of one of the prophets of old and he declared to John that he is brethren to him, And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. (Revelation 22:8) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (Revelation 22:9) This again takes us into the unseen by faith. God reveals to our heart that the prophets of old have the same Spirit of Christ that we have within ourselves as the children of God. And the message to John is worship thou God. And we repeat, God is spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth.

In John 14:2, the Lord Jesus revealed the Father’s house, and His many mansions. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. He was speaking of a tangible place, yet unseen. He revealed to us that He is the way, the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by Him. He revealed to Philip that He is not only the Son but the image of the Father, and within Him is the Spirit of truth. I would think that all these things would prove and confirm the Lord’s deity, not only IN heaven, but as He walked upon the earth revealing the fullness of the Godhead bodily. It would be the Son among the determinate counsels of the Spirit that would be the image of God the Son even in what we call the unseen.

The Mystery of Iniquity is the Evidence of Things Not Seen

—— ♦——

We have very little understanding of a vast kingdom that we cannot see. And yet, to the occupants that populate it, it is seen. It is a seen spiritual world and kingdom which we have many references to in the Old and in the New Testament. We understand through the Scriptures that in God’s kingdom of heaven there was a rebellion headed by Lucifer, the anointed and covering cherub.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; (Ezekiel 28:6)Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (Ezekiel 28:13)Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:14)Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezekiel 28:15)By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:16)Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17)Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:18)All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. (Ezekiel 28:19)   Although God used the King of Tyre in Ezekiel Chapter 28 as the lead-in and as a type, God wants to reveal to us the affinity that Lucifer has with man in his enmity against God. We see that both man and Lucifer are joined together in the mystery of iniquity. And Lucifer’s sin and iniquity is passed on to man because man brought sin into the world, and death by sin. Therefore, the mystery of iniquity continues in both the unseen and in the seen through time and space, it is Lucifer who is trying to dominate the temporal and the spiritual. Was the creation of mankind happenstance? No. The determinate counsels and foreknowledge of God was enacting His plan of redemption. As man was a forethought BEFORE the creation, so the plan of redemption was also present in the determinate counsels of God. Lucifer became an enemy of God and was cast down. (Isaiah 14:12-20) Once more, in Chapter 14 of Isaiah, we see Lucifer’s affinity with man, verse 4. That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! As God used the King of Tyre in Ezekiel 28, so He also used the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14:4 to show the affinity of Lucifer with the kingdoms of this earth. And to follow this up, one of the temptations that was directed to the Lord Jesus from Lucifer was the dominion and kingdoms of this world. And in the prophecy and record of Isaiah Chapter 14, we see that the king of Babylon is a prophetic picture of the man of sin, the true Beast of Revelation Chapter 13.

This Beast, as Lucifer, has never had ANY moral truth, he is completely alienated from God in his rebellion against God. The Beast of Revelation Chapter 13 is MAN at the end of sin and its domain over the people of the world. This Beast of a man lives in a world of lies which he gets from his father the devil, he is a master of all lies, and he is a murderer from the beginning. (John 8:44) It would amaze you if you knew how many politicians and leaders of this world consult and actively participate in the occult, the demon world of Lucifer. Once you understand this affinity of man with Lucifer, then all the decisions that are made in governments reveal their true meaning and purpose. At the end, man receives his power from the dragon. He sits in the throne or seat of the dragon, and he takes his authority by and from the dragon. In different points in history, Lucifer raised up many men to do his will in the mystery of iniquity. Even now, today, world leaders and world councils are part of the unseen working to bring about Lucifer’s will and Lucifer’s world. Government is giving us a foreshadow of how the Beast will take dominion over the whole world. At first, he will put the people of the world into utter confusion, and then through his satanic power he will bring the people of the world under his authority through fear of death. As we have watched the PLANdemic of Covid-19, we have seen this fear of death all around us. People driving alone in their cars wearing a mask, people working in the yards and in their gardens wear a mask, and within their own dwelling places they wear a mask. The leaders of the world have put the fear of death within them. And just as they submit to the shot to today, in the future, they will take the mark of the Beast without a thought because of the fear of death. There are people dying from the shot, and from the booster shots, athletes having heart disorders and strokes from the shot and dying, men in their prime are dying, healthy children are dying . . . . these deaths are not mysterious . . . . it is part of the PLANdemic controlling the minds and fears of the people. This manipulative experiment designed to confuse and build fear is merely the beginning of many plagues yet to come in order to prepare the people to willingly desire to the take on the mark of the Beast. The Beast is not yet in power, but his philosophy of evil is already working among the nations of the world.

The Oneness of God, and the Oneness with His own

is the Evidence of Things Not Seen

—— ♦——

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12) To my knowledge no one man has ever completed this, Verily, verily, of John 14:12. However, through the Spirit of Christ many have entered into the works of Christ. They have received the gifts of Christ, and these have come from above from the Father of lights and perfection. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17) The pure gift of God was His Son. This is the greatest gift of all when revelation took on a face and walked among us as a holy and heavenly Son of man, Son of God. The manifestation of the unseen became the seen. He in all reality was the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The door of hope had opened to this marvelous world of the unseen by the Son of God, and a way of entrance was made by the Son of man, uniquely in one sinless manifestation of Immanuel, God with us. To have such a Savior is truly a gift from God. And to enhance this gift within us He gives the gift of the Spirit of Himself, which is the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of grace, one and the same Spirit to enlighten us to His mind, and His will. Once one sees the depth of this one verse in John 17:24 (Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world) we are then made partakers of the unseen and of the seen at the commencement of our new birth. This verse not only includes the apostles and disciples, but those who would believe, and do believe on the Son of God. Consider John 17, verse 20, Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word, and Hebrews 2:3 and 4. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3) God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4)

John Chapter 17 opens to us the heart of God in His manifestation and His will and His purpose. He redeemed His own from this evil world. John Chapter 17 is the infinite and intimate relationship between the Son and the Father. We see them as ONE, and then through God’s redemptive purpose we see ourselves as ONE with the Son of God and ONE with the Father redeemed through the precious blood of His Son. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (John 17:5) In verse 5 of John 17, the Lord Jesus referred to the glory that He had with the Father BEFORE the world was. This is the FULL GLORY of God, the effulgence of His brightness of the glory of the Father IN the Son, and the glory of the Son in the Father. And we see the transition of this glory in verse 10 of John 17. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. This marvelous transition of the glory of God from the Father to the Son and then from the Son to His own (which also belongs to the Father) as the Lord Jesus said, That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:21) Chapter 17 is full of the dominion and deity, and the attributes of God. In verse 5, it is the glory of the Father. In verse 11, it is the holiness of the Father, And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. In verse 25, O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. It is the righteousness of the Father in verse 25. This one Chapter is an ocean of divine thought of the Oneness of God, and the Oneness with His own. He has drawn us, as the children of God, into His own bosom of love and perfection through the Son of His love, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Only Belief Can See the Seen and the Unseen

—— ♦——

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12) Today through one little wire, and through the word of God, God is speaking through His Spirit throughout the whole world, and through almost all known languages. He is doing this by the technology of the computer and of His Spirit. This is truly, a miracle and work of God that one man and one woman could have such a privilege in the family of God to minister the love of God and His grace throughout the whole world. Who is sufficient for these things? God has connected our hearts to His children by His Spirit all over the world. The same Spirit of grace that redeemed my soul is the same Spirit of grace that has redeemed your soul. As a child of God where you go, I go, and where I go, you go, all in one Spirit. This is the truth of John Chapter 17. Consider John 17:23, I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Isn’t this wonderful, that the Oneness of the Almighty shows us the ability of our God in His own miracles of grace transforming us from the enemies of God into the sons of God. We become the sons of grace through the Son of His love who is the Son of the first born from the spiritual to the tangible, from the substance of things hoped for to the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) We behold this truth in our hearts the great Oneness of God’s love both in the tangible that which is seen, and that which is unseen is the manifestation of God’s love in the Lord Jesus Christ. The love that is within Him is the unseen character of His love which He fulfilled on the cross of Calvary.

The manifestation of love is the Lord Jesus Christ. The manifestation of grace of truth is the Lord Jesus Christ, and the manifestation of righteousness and holiness is the Lord Jesus Christ. These are just a few evidences of the things that are unseen, and God has revealed them in His Son, the Son of the first born. The unseen is the Spirit of God’s Son placed within EVERY redeemed heart, soul and spirit. This is truly a miracle of the unseen, and by the Spirit of His Son, we can have communion with the Father, and cry out, Abba Father. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) It is because we are sons, and this is not only the place of privilege, but it is also responsibility. The wonder of sonship . . . . John puts it this way in his epistle 1st John Chapter 3, verses1-3.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1st John 3:1)

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1st John 3:2)

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1st John 3:3)

Lay hold of the unseen world around you, for the very faith that you possess is the evidence of the unseen, and as the measure of your faith, so be it unto you.

Once again, this is determined by God’s love that we are called the sons of God, and the miracle of the Spirit of Christ within. In knowing God and having the Spirit of Christ and the new birth IN Christ, we are no longer the children of Adam, but the children of God. Outside the family of God, that would be all of Adam’s children, the understanding of an indwelling Spirit is outside of their comprehension. Man cannot receive the Spirit of Christ within except by the revelation of that Spirit and the unction that God puts within, and this comes from the most high God. This is one of those evidences of the unseen spoken of in Hebrews 11:1 which is another miracle of our salvation: as the heirs of salvation, we receive the ministry of angels. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (Hebrews 1:14) These angels are ministering spirits. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. These angels are unseen and yet present. They function as ministers to us in many ways, and we also have the Spirit of His Son in our hearts. This is a direct way of communication with the Almighty. This communication is always open to the throne of God, we should feel very humble knowing that the One who created all things not only has addressed us as sons but allows us to enter into His presence in the unseen and cry out to Him. The Spirit of Christ belongs to what we consider the unseen realm, and this Spirit of Christ within intercedes even in our prayers. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26) When you have one of those days and all that you do or try to do goes wrong, and fails, it is at that time that God gives you confirmation of His Spirit within. That even in your trials He is able to give you peace within the burden that you carry, and that ALL will be alright in God’s will and purpose no matter how dark the trial, and the Spirit of God will give us the everlasting Son shining within. Many times, in these times of crisis or trials, God uses them to give assurance by His ministry to us through the Spirit of His Son within. Lay hold of the unseen world around you, for the very faith that you possess is the evidence of the unseen, and as the measure of your faith, so be it unto you.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12) In this verse of John 14:12, there is a qualifier: one must have life in the Son of God and this life can only come by belief in Him. When we consider Hebrews 11:6, this is not a stagnant verse, but this verse is applied to ALL men of ALL times. This is the eternal God telling us that we MUST believe that HE IS, and by this qualification we diligently seek Him. The Lord Jesus said to His disciples concerning the work of God that if the unseen work of belief is not there, then there will be no tangible work without. Faith not only determines our salvation, but our trust in God that He will work through us, and those works will be the work of God.

Belief was a big problem for the nation that was born in a day. When Moses, by the hand of God, brought them out of Egypt, God parted the Red Sea with His own divine power. He gathered the wind and separated the waters, and then held the waters there with His hand until ALL of Israel and the strangers out of Egypt had passed through. These were the waters of death and the confirmation of these waters of death are seen upon the enemies of God. When Pharaoh and his hosts pursued the Israelites, they were then swallowed up by the waters of death. These waters of death were not only the salvation for God’s people, but assurance of God’s work for them, and yet, as we see not all the people believed. God’s defense for His people and in unbelief there were many who could not go into the land. Many wonder why the Lord brought His people to the Red Sea, He was their defense. They could not go out of the land of Egypt by the northern trade route because of the great wall of Egypt that stretched from the great sea (Mediterranean) to the land of Sur, to the tongue of the Red Sea. The great wall was a border defense for the Egyptian, and protected them from northern invaders, and from the Chaldeans. This great wall was also a border station for trade and those who brought goods through this wall were taxed by the Egyptians. At each entrance gate there was a military unit or garrison, and this was their residence to protect the wall and Egypt from invasion. The reason why this great wall is not standing today and not visible is the great stones were taken from quarries near the desert. These were poor quality sandstones, and each time that Egypt was invaded the enemies tore down sections of this wall. In our own lifetime, can you tell me the description of the Berlin Wall? Or what is left out of the great city of Babylon? Which came much later then the great wall of Egypt. Where are the hanging gardens of Nebuchadnezzar? Or where is the Temple of Herod that was built in Jerusalem? Give me a true and detailed description of the Temple of Herod. You cannot do this because history has erased the details. It was truly a wonder, and we can barely recognize the spot where it stood. The great wall of Egypt also fell victim to the eroding winds from the desert that covered what remained from the poor quality of the sandstone.

The unbelief of the Israelites is projected in our modern day for many theologians do not believe that God parted the Red Sea. They give us man’s fabrication and not biblical truth. There are three reasons for the miracle at the Red Sea. The first reason was that at this point of God gathering His people out of Egypt, they were neither ready, nor qualified to defend themselves. If they had gone to the northern trade route most likely the army of the Egyptians would have cut them to pieces, and perchance, if somehow a group had passed through the wall, they would have been pursued into the barren desert by the Egyptian army. The second reason was to lure the Egyptian forces with Pharaoh into the sea to destroy them all, and therefore, delivering those who came out of Egypt. The third and final reason was to establish and to show God’s great power to the people that He had saved out of Egypt. How could anyone that lived through that experience forget or disbelieve the great power of the Almighty? And yet, the heart and mind of man continued with Moses in unbelief.

I read a small article the other day and this was the mindset of the article was written to remove the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ, the article declared that the birth of Christ, the life of Christ, and the death of Christ, and the resurrection of Christ was all just a fantasy, and never happened. The world is in a terrible state, and when enemies of God come out like this, we know that we are in the last times. There are evidence in the great libraries of England, Egypt, and in the US that documents the ancient history of this great wall of Egypt. However, these documents are not referred to by theologians because of man’s unbelief. It is amazing how man continually wants to dictate, design, and create a God of his own understanding. And yet, the frailty of sin keeps man from understanding the Almighty, and this sin has to be removed by the death of Christ on the cross and the spiritual awakening through faith in the Son of God; thus, a man must be born again. It is only through the Spirit of Christ that we can receive enlightenment through the truth. Don’t compare the great stones of the pyramids to the sandstone of the great wall. The stones of the pyramid were from other southern quarries with better quality stones. It would be like comparing granite to clay. The same power of the unseen is available today in the Lord Jesus Christ because all power in heaven and earth has been given unto Him. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18)

The Works of God Revealing the Seen and the Unseen

—— ♦——

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. In John 14:12, it is the works that the Lord Jesus was speaking about. It is the WORK that we are to follow Him and allow ourselves to be directed by His will to the WORK that He wants us to accomplish, and to submit ourselves through faith to the WORK of Christ. The great wall of Egypt and the other great works that we mentioned were all built by man, and the world of the seen, and through time they have vanished into the unseen. The great wall was just one of the monuments in the course of Adam’s history that is gone. How many works of mankind have disappeared into time and are no longer.

Now our verse in Chapter 14 of Verily, verily is important since this verse affects the person of faith. It is faith that will determine the success of the work that God gives us to do that substance of faith give us belief in the unseen capability of an Almighty God. The first work of God is to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those of faith who diligently seek Him. All the parts of creation, the universe, the stars, the sun, the moon, the planets, the ocean, the streams, the vegetation and trees, the dust and the wind must all work in unison and in harmony to God’s will and purpose, and we, as individuals are no different because the Spirit of Christ within us is to bring out the will of God through us.

To believe that He is, is to give us the revelation of Himself. All the moving parts of individuals who are born of God are moving and directed according to His will. He accomplishes this, by being the Almighty God, the Creator of the smallest particle, and the builder of a great universe, but in the unseen world, God is Spirit and within this Spirit is the fullness of the Godhead. God does not depend on man’s imagination, for He reveals Himself through revelation in the entirety of the word of God. The kingdom of heaven is quite visible to the angels, and the creatures, and to the redeemed saints in heaven. And we KNOW that God’s angels have the capability of manifesting themselves to our world. They have been messengers, they have been warriors, they have been instructors and have given prophetic revelations to man. The book of Daniel is the book of angelic witness to man. We see them as messengers and combatants in military action against the prince of Persia. Angels have rank, and position. When the angelic military general approached Daniel he was called Michael: the great prince, one of the chief prince, the archangel.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Daniel 12:1)

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. (Daniel 10:7)

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. (Daniel 10:8)

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. (Daniel 10:9)

And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. (Daniel 10:10)

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. (Daniel 10:11)

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. (Daniel 10:12)

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. (Daniel 10:13)

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. (Daniel 10:14)

And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. (Daniel 10:15)

And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. (Daniel 10:16)

For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. (Daniel 10:17)

Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, (Daniel 10:18)

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. (Daniel 10:19)

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. (Daniel 10:20)

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. (Daniel 10:21)

This shows us the conflict between the unseen and the seen. The battles of flesh and blood mingled with battles of spirits and life in the battles of good and evil. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Genesis 3:3) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:1) This is where the battle began for mankind. Adam, the tree of mankind, at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil became inflicted with sin and the battle of good and evil raged within him since he partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Under the banner of sin man battled against God, and the battle between good and evil is not only in the visible realm, but also the battle is in the invisible realm for there is a continual battle between God and His adversary, the devil, the serpent of Genesis Chapter 3. Satan is now called that old serpent in Revelation 12:9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. The reason for this aged one (the old serpent), God wants us to know and to understand that through the years, the centuries, the millenniums of man’s history, Satan has been warring against God over the souls of man.

In Revelation Chapter 13, man is portrayed as a beast. Sixteen (16) times the word beast is mentioned either to a physical man or his image. It is the revealing of evil personified in a man consumed by his flesh as a beast, and then promoting his beasthood by putting his mark or brand on ALL of mankind. (As beasts have been branded, so man as beasts will be branded.) This beast of a man in Chapter 13 receives his power from the author of evil. This beast of a man will sit upon Satan’s throne, and it is here in Revelation Chapter 13 that man exalts himself to expel all good out of the world so that darkness will rule the seen over mankind.

As the man of sin has the title of Beast given to us sixteen (16) times. This gives us the number 10 of God’s law, which the beast expels from his kingdom and the number 6 which is man’s number, and the trinity of evil is 6 – 6 – 6. Man has completely cast off the Law of God and the grace of God, and man can only function now as a beast and not as a man. He makes his claim over everything that belongs to God and goes to war with the saints. His mark is deliberately given to eliminate the sons of God from the earth.

Israel cast the most high God out of His temple, and His glory departed. Israel and the Gentiles cast the Prince of life out of this world, and His glory departed. Man under the control of Satan cast the Holy Spirit out of the professing church, and His glory has departed. And right now, before the Beast is revealed, and before the revealing of his mark, the work of the devil, the old serpent, the same serpent of Genesis Chapter 3, wants all the sons of God eliminated from the earth.

The mark of the beast will be the determining factor, it will give the devil and his affinity with man the throne of the earth, the mark will also eliminate the children of God, and it will be the children of the devil who will live. (John 8:44) This verse is far broader than Israel and the Pharisees. There are only two camps in the great conflict, in the mystery of iniquity, they are the sons of God and the sons of Satan. I vaguely remember a group of entertainers who took as their title name KISS which later became known as Kings in Satan’s Service. It’s not this group in themselves, but the thousands and thousands of followers that should make us aware of how the sons of Satan have multiplied on the earth revealing how far we have fallen, and to see the gravity of sin’s influence.

God’s Last Seen Witnesses to the World Rejected

——♦ ——

The last witness of God to the world is found in the New Testament in the book of the Revelation, Chapter 11, verse 4, in the two olive trees. Compare this with Zechariah Chapter 4 in the Old Testament.

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. (Zechariah 4:3)

∼

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? (Zechariah 4:11)

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? (Zechariah 4:12)

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. (Zechariah 4:13)

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.  (Zechariah 4:14)

∼

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Revelation 11:4)

These are the last two prophets to the world. They not only prophesy in Jerusalem, but their prophecies go all over the world, and when they have witnessed for three and a half years, the beast and his unseen partner, the old serpent, the devil, will put these two witnesses to death. And according to the word of God at the end of these 3 ½ years, everything that God wanted them to prophesy will be finished. Their message is the last message of God to a world that refuses to repent. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. (Revelation 11:7)

Side Note: Notice what may appear to be a bit of trivia. The symbolism of ‘olive trees’ is that they are Jews. The last time that these two olives trees are mentioned in the Old Testament is in Zechariah 4:11, Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon the left [side] thereof? And the last time that these two olive trees are mentioned in the New Testament is in Revelation 11:4, These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (4:11 / 11:4) Look at these numbers carefully. The beginning of the earth number of four, and the end of the earth number. Then in the number of eleven which is the number of confusion, we have the beginning and the end. The earth contains confusion. The earth is full of confusion. ♦ End of Side Note.

The enmity of mankind is so great that the last two messengers of God (who called fire down from heaven and are witnesses of the power of God) are put to death because man refuses God’s final call to a world buried in the sin of hatred and confusion. And as the whole world rejoices at their deaths, they send presents one to another, most likely with tiding of great joy that the prophets of God are dead. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. (Revelation 11:9) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. (Revelation 11:10) Now to add to the hatred of mankind, the bodies of these two dead prophets lay openly in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 ½ days to allow the world to mock them, and to celebrate their death. Is it any wonder that God the Holy Spirit calls Jerusalem Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (Revelation 11:8) The city of holiness, where God was to be glorified, became the city of evil where He was crucified.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not! (Matthew 23:37)

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! (Luke 13:34)

These words are recorded in two gospels. The lesson is this: that in Matthew, they had rejected their King, and all his wooing meant nothing to their hearts, and what we see is that their rejection had been going on for a long time, for God had sent them prophets many times, but they had stoned the prophets. In the gospel of Luke, the Lord Jesus is rejected as the Son of man, thus, we have a double witness against Jerusalem in killing the prophets of God. The Lord had always told Jerusalem that their house, their temple, would be left unto them desolate and that every stone would be cast to the ground. For the glory of God was about to depart in the Son of the most high God, Jesus Christ. So is it any wonder that His last two prophets would be killed in Sodom and Egypt which is the city of Jerusalem. When the glory finally departed Christ ascended up into the clouds and took His place at the right hand of God. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3) We have the retrospect of the actions of the world when God’s two witnesses are killed, the world sends presents one to another, ‘Have a very merry Christmas. But the conflict is much greater. It is between God and the devil, between good and evil, and between the sons of God and the sons of Satan.

We see the spirit of Herod today as Herod originally gave orders to kill the children of Bethlehem from the ages of two years and under. The same instigator, Satan, today uses abortion to kill the children of God because God claims them as His children. This is the point I want to make: the heart of man has become so evil that it has become extremely easy for Satan to direct man to do anything that he desires to be done. Satan reads the Bible more than the false professing Christian. There is an enmity of Satan and man against God and His word. Do you think that Satan might want to use abortion to destroy the two witnesses before they are born? To use man and his hatred of life to kill the unborn so that the two prophets cannot arrive to fulfill their mission in life. Well, I must relate this to you . . . no matter how evil man is, no matter how diabolical Satan is, these two prophets are already here and are already alive on earth. (This might only be my opinion, but all the evil signs and the wickedness of mankind is a witness that our time is short, and there is a GOOD and SPIRITUAL possibility that these two witnesses are already here.)

Side Note: So, you can stop your frenzy of blood, as sharks to the prey, you are rioting in the streets because you can no longer legally kill life in the womb. You are an evil people with all hatred and enmity against the goodness of God. And He IS judging you and will continue to judge you. He is destroying your nation right before your eyes for both past and present sin. This land of iniquity will receive its just reward, buckle up and hold on . . . the heavens are going to erupt with God’s judgment against you. And God is going to thunder His wrath against those who have perpetrated this abominable sin of abortion. A message to the United States Supreme Court: your decision is too little and too late. Where is the crime of murder, and why are not THESE people arrested and sentenced to death? Where is the law of insurrection now when these people are rioting all over the country and trying to bring down state governments? If you think that God is not serious and determined to judge this land, I will give you the words of God the Holy Spirit,

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:8)

How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire? (Psalm 89:46) ♦ End of Side Note.

The great miracle of today is that God’s grace still exists for those who will repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as the glory of God departed from the earth, when Revelation Chapter 6 begins, the grace of God departs from the earth. Today, God’s patience is waxing thin. If a nation will not repent of this wickedness of casting your sons and daughters on the fires of the abortion tables, then let the Lord finish His work which He has already begun on the American people. As Israel, the American people, have turned their backs on the God of heaven and earth. And so, they are now in the same position as the Israel of old.

Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. (Jeremiah 32:32)

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction. (Jeremiah 32:33)

But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it. (Jeremiah 32:34)

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. (Jeremiah 32:35)

They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: (Jeremiah 19:5)

∼

For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. (Jeremiah 7:30)

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. (Jeremiah 7:31)

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place. (Jeremiah 7:32)

And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away. (Jeremiah 7:33)

Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.  (Jeremiah 7:34)

∼

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, (Psalm 106:37) And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. (Psalm 106:38)

∼

But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore. (Isaiah 57:3) Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood, (Isaiah 57:4) Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks? (Isaiah 57:5)

∼

Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter, (Ezekiel 16:20)

That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them? (Ezekiel 16:21)

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood. (Ezekiel 16:22)

And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;) (Ezekiel 16:23)

That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street. (Ezekiel 16:24)

Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms. (Ezekiel 16:25)

Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger. (Ezekiel 16:26)

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way. (Ezekiel 16:27)

Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied. (Ezekiel 16:28)

Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith. (Ezekiel 16:29)

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman; (Ezekiel 16:30)

In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire; (Ezekiel 16:31)

But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband! (Ezekiel 16:32)

They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom. (Ezekiel 16:33)

And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary. (Ezekiel 16:34)

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: (Ezekiel 16:35)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; (Ezekiel 16:36)

Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. (Ezekiel 16:37)

And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy. (Ezekiel 16:38)

And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare. (Ezekiel 16:39)

They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. (Ezekiel 16:40)

These words from the pages of Scripture should bring fear and dread to the hearts of EVERY nation that exists today for they have ALL turned their backs on God. The whoredoms of the world, women turning their backs on the husbands, and husbands turning their backs on the wives, adultery and divorce and parents turning their backs on their children letting their children run wild in the streets of sin without any guidance from the word of God. Whores murdering their children and spreading their legs for every man, abortion after abortion still there is no end. I am going to destroy a fallacy, Israel is the only nation ever chosen of God, and even with all of God’s blessing they were not faithful. It is Israel that God declared that they were and are His people, and He has judged them severely for their waywardness, and He is still judging them, and will continue to judge them into the future. But all of the nations, past and present, (except for the nation of Israel), not one can make the claim that they are chosen nation of God. Their claims as such are false. For God has never claimed them, nor called them as a nation, ‘His people, or ‘my nation.‘ Israel, as a nation, is the only nation that God has called my nation.’ Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. (Isaiah 51:4)

The hypocritical governments of this world have made false claims of being ‘God’s nation,’ their little sayings and anthems will not justify their sin. These are times of judgment for the whole world. And we as the sons of God have to realize the dread and depth of world sin. The Almighty will only allow so much until the cup of the Gentiles is full, and then He will begin His judgment of Revelation Chapter 6. The preparation of judgment has already begun. It is the sin of the nation that has blinded its people whether it’s the sin of abortion, or murder, or thievery or lying, whether in the Old Testament or in the New Testament . . . . He, the Almighty, is the SAME GOD and changes not. Those with rose colored glasses and a fantasy religion and a fantasy god, better wake up to reality. For hundreds of years the peoples of this world have trodden underfoot the blood of Christ and done despite to the Spirit of grace.

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29)

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. (Hebrews 10:30)

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31)

We live in this day when not only is God judging us according to His word, but He is warning us to repent and to turn towards Him and His word. We have reached the brink and the only way to save society is repentance towards God, if not, you will see judgment, plagues, famine, pestilence, war, poverty, and this can all take place in ONE HOUR.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (Revelation 18:6)

How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (Revelation 18:7)

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (Revelation 18:8)

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, (Revelation 18:9)

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18:10)

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: (Revelation 18:11)

The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, (Revelation 18:12)

And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (Revelation 18:13)

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. (Revelation 18:14)

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, (Revelation 18:15)

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! (Revelation 18:16)

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, (Revelation 18:17)

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! (Revelation 18:18)

This judgment will come from the same God and Savior that they crucified and cast out of the world. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28) To the true and real Church of God, He has purchased you with His own blood, and the world is trampling underfoot the blood of your Savior Jesus Christ. God is a Jealous God, especially concerning the Son of His love, and His children through the blood of Christ. The world as a whole, is vocally denying and renouncing God, and has cried out NEVER in relationship of believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the Savior of the cross that they are denying. They have never had a relationship with God, nor did they ever want to believe in the God of Creation. Well . . . . in the final judgment when Christ sits on the great white throne, God will cry out . . . . ‘NEVER did I know you‘ in respect to His grace and mercy, they will be cast into the lake of fire, this is also the lake of fire where Satan, the beast, and the false prophet are cast into.

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. (Deuteronomy 32:1)

∼

O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.  (Job 16:18)

∼

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. (Isaiah 1:2)

∼

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. (Isaiah 49:13)

∼

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, [even] the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it. (Jeremiah 6:19)

∼

O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. (Jeremiah 22:29)

∼

Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. (Micah 1:2)

These verses are mostly warnings to the peoples of the earth. After we have contemplated these warnings, one of the last warnings in Scripture is the triple woes: woe, woe, woe in Revelation 8:13, And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

The Works of God

• to glorify God

• to be a true and faithful witness

—— ♦——

In John Chapter 17, verse 4, the Lord stated to the Father that He had finished the work which the Father gave Him to do. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. This finished work was to glorify His Father on the earth, and this was PRIOR to the cross. We should remember that the Lord Jesus was manifested to bear witness to the truth, for grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace and truth was the persona of His Person that He would be the true and faithful witness of the Godhead both then and now. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;(Revelation 3:14) The Lord Jesus claimed this title as the true and faithful witness of God. There has never been a person on planet Earth who could ever use these words from the very depth of his soul.

We, today, as Christians, are witnesses OF Christ THROUGH Christ, for His Spirit dwells within us. He is the very truth of witness. And He (being the very Son of God) was not only bound, but united in the fullness of the Godhead bodily of the witness of God. The Lord Jesus Christ, being the beloved Son, was the love child of God. He was and is the only begotten which is IN the bosom of the Father. The very heart of God contains His complete Spirit: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The fact of Christ being in the bosom of the Father is drawn out in John 1:18. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. There are many truths in the first Chapter of John. One of the first truths is His Omniscience. When Christ was on earth, He was also present at the same time in the bosom of the Father. He always knew the Father’s presence, and the Father always knew the presence of His Son. Above all the miracles that the Lord Jesus performed the number one work of the Son of God was to testify and witness and glorify the Father. And the work of God today is the same. We are to glorify the Father through our salvation by and of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the Father who sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6) We should look at our testimony to the world as a testimony THROUGH the Spirit of Christ in our hearts, and outwardly our voice and actions in the power of the Holy Ghost.

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3)

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4)

It is the Son, the true and faithful witness, who declared so great salvation whereof we speak, and by the gift of the Holy Ghost we testify of this great salvation and the worlds to come. This planet that man calls home has been defiled by sin. When the tabernacle had been defiled, it was dissolved, and was no more. When the temple was defiled, it was dissolved, and was no more. When the nation of Israel was defiled, it was removed from God’s blessing. Now, in these last times, the whole world is defiled, and this world will be dissolved.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2nd Peter 3:10)

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, (2nd Peter 3:11)

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2nd Peter 3:12)

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2nd Peter 3:13)

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (2nd Peter 3:14)

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (2nd Peter 3:15)

The Creator of all things is not yet done with us, and there is truly a day of change coming. After man has been completely judged for his sin, the earth itself will be judged and dissolved, and God will create a new heaven and a new earth where sin is no more, and His righteousness will reign supreme over this new earth. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Revelation 21:1) While mankind, in Adam, is worrying about this earth (climate change, carbon footprints, etc.) and his love for his sin (their perceived rights to kill). Their eyes are blinded to the things that will come. And this is part of the witness of God. It is the work that God has given us to be a witness of the Almighty and to glorify Him to the whole world. More than two thousand years ago our Lord walked in the land of Israel and Tyre and Sidon. Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. (Matthew 15:21) His work was to glorify God the Father, and to finish the work that God had given Him to do. ALL of US, as the sons of God, have a divine work to do according to the will of God. Each of us might not be the same, and the work that we do may not be the same, but the end result of all the work of God is to glorify the Person of God, and glorify His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Looking at the ministry of the Lord Jesus on earth (not His miracles, but his ministry through teaching and preaching), it would appear to be smaller than the work of Paul, and even Paul’s ministry was small compared to the ministry of John the apostle. For John, in the book of the Revelation, had the largest sphere both in the seen and in the unseen. Even in the gospel of John, we continually travel from the temporal to the spiritual. We travel from the seen and the unseen in both the works and miracles of Christ. Although we do not see the temporal record of the holy mount where Christ was transfigured in the gospel of John, we are translated by the Spirit to see in our hearts the unseen and the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. John wrote that we beheld His glory, and this glory was of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. It is a divine truth of the Holy Word of God that every child of God is brought into heirship as a son, and every son can feel and know the presence of God and the Spirit of Christ within. There is a oneness with God the Father with God the Son, and there is a oneness with God the Father and God the Son with the sons of God. And these are the children that God has given to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the gospel of John, Chapter 14, verse 12, it is Verily, verily, that you believe. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. It is Verily, verily, that you do the works of God. It is Verily, verily that we as the children of God are also the servants of God. And our work is to glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The witness of the Holy Spirit of God was never meant to be of man, He is the witness of GOD to the whole earth. And He dwells within each and every child of God, and He ministers to us that we should be faithful witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to know the glory of God and the peace of God in our hearts. This is beyond all understanding in the world of Adam. Only faith can open the curtains to the unseen, and this faith must come from above. Only faith can lay hold of the great mystery of God.  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1st Timothy 3:16) I would also like to bring out that in this verse of John 14:12, Christ is continuing His work in us (who believe) that as He was manifested to do the work of the Father, so He has committed His work unto us. Each and every one of us who are born of His Spirit have been snatched out of the darkness to do His work. And His work is the same today as the faithful and truth witness of God in Revelation 3:14. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; It is the Lord’s statement of Himself. This title belongs to Him that as the faithful and true witness of all, He speaks to a church of the world ruled by man who have forsaken Him and who have denied Him. This church of today is neither cold nor hot, and they are being weighed in the balance and have been found wanting. He looks over this church and in the circumference of the whole world, and He sees NO life in this church, so He casts them off, as the goats of unbelief. He introduces Himself as the Amen, the finality of the true witness of God to the false professing church. For once again, man, in his sin, has rejected his Creator who is the beginning of the creation of God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)

And now He must draw His testimony within the church to a close. Within those evil walls of apostasy and unbelief He can no longer abide. He must separate Himself from them and spew them out of His mouth. The poison of apostasy and unbelief can no longer be tolerated, so therefore, He must turn as the true and faithful witness and draw out souls by His own Spirit. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20) The Lord Jesus Christ is traveling throughout this entire world, He is knocking on the doors of hearts, and if any man opens the door of belief in God, He will come in and pour faith into the open door. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) When the door is opened, and the Lord Jesus comes in, He sits down and sups with that individual. They both sup on the word of God, and He explains and expounds out of the Scriptures all things concerning Himself. We learn as we hear the voice of His Spirit, and this voice echoes, Follow me, Learn of me, Grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. What better witness can we have to our own hearts then the faithful and true witness of God, the beginning of the creation of God, the first born from the dead, and behold, I am alive forever more. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16) And we (as the children of God) are grafted into that power of an endless life. To all the world, the Spirit of God is crying out, Be ye reconciled to God.

Amen and Amen.
