Once For All
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:10)

The Work of Christ is Finished
ONCE FOR ALL
The title of this article and the last three words of Hebrews 10:10 has inspired hymns and poems; yet the world does not even understand the finished works of Christ for being ONCE FOR ALL. Religion, in their perverted knowledge, denies the finished works of Christ and cannot conceive that His work IS FINISHED for ONCE FOR ALL.
God the Father SENT His Son, the Son of His love, into the world because the fullness of the Godhead loved His creation and loved the creation of mankind. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1st John 4:9) It is written that God so loved the world that HE GAVE His only begotten Son. It is written of the Lord Jesus Christ that His love was so strong that He loved them unto the end. Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. (John 13:1) Christ Himself declared to His disciples that there is no greater love than a man lay down his life for his friends. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) In the book of Proverbs we read in 18:24 that, A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother. We often think that the ancients did not have the full knowledge of the holy, yet Job could proclaim that he KNEW that his Redeemer liveth, and that his Redeemer would stand upon the earth in the latter days. Job gives us another wonder that with these eyes’ Job would behold Him. For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth: (Job 19:25) And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: (Job 19:26) Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. (Job 19:27) In his flesh he would see God. And yet today, there are so many deceivers who will not give themselves over to the truth, but pervert the truth of the work of redemption and the finality of being born again ONCE AND FOR ALL. If man could erase the cross from history, he would do it. (I have heard world leaders and politicians speak about ‘God.’ They show their ignorance by their assumptions, and lack of knowledge of the holy. In the government of the United States, the ole’ monkey loves gay pride, and from the same twisted mouth speaks of ‘God,’ however, behind the scenes, the organ grinder (Satan) has already enchanted the soul of ‘poor ole joe.’ Why is it that the name of Jesus leaves such a sour taste in their mouths? Sin is not sweet and sin brings forth death.) Even to this very second mankind continues to deny the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.

Christ Reconciled the World Unto Himself
ONCE FOR ALL
In the marvelous work of the Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross, He finalized a life devoted to God the Father, and the holiness of the Godhead. It was God IN Christ reconciling THE WORLD unto Himself ONCE FOR ALL. To get a complete understanding of these three words we have to understand God’s judicial judgment by God’s righteousness, by which HE MUST JUDGE ALL SIN. The work of the cross was not only for the earth, but it was also to cleanse heaven as well to remove the stain of Lucifer’s sin against the most holy God to ratify God’s judicial RIGHT to judge ALL sin.
Many believe that Christ died only for a select few, and that all the sin of the world was not placed on Him, therefore, they have never understood the FULLNESS of God’s righteousness. In the old world, a man who had committed a crime against the kingdom was judged by the rules and laws of that kingdom; therefore, the king was satisfied in his judgment against the evil against his kingdom. On God’s part, and in God’s kingdom, there is more than just the corruption of man, there is an innumerable company of angels, and as Christ was a witness to man on earth, so also the Godhead must be a witness to the angels in heaven.
The divine Judge had to judge ALL sin, and the world of sin, not only the act of Adam in sin against the most high God, but what Adam brought into the world through sin, and the result of that sin: death. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12).
In order to understand death, we have to dig deeply into its origin. Death was a judgment against man by God because of sin. Adam entered into sin at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and this brings the judgment of death upon ALL men for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). This places ALL men born in Adam under the judgment of a Holy and Righteous God and there are NO exceptions until ONCE FOR ALL came in the Person of God’s dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ not only brought His love into the world, but in His judicial sense, He became our defense against ourselves. He defines the guilt of sin in every man and in God manifested in the flesh He foretells the judgment of man at the great white throne of judgment. Christ offered Himself as the chief defense witness for man. This marvelous defense given by Christ Himself and IN Himself totally and completely adjudicated mankind because the penalty for sin MUST be paid. Someone in the creation of God MUST pay the dreadful price for sin and death.
Mankind does not understand their slavery to sin; for instance, all the evil thoughts of man is sin; most imaginations of man is sin. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.(Genesis 6:5) The mind has been given to man to understand the holiness of God as man’s divine Creator, yet man uses his mind to pervert everything around him. It is the mind and a deceitful heart that first brings on the lust of murder, as when Cain slew Abel. The chains of sin are so strong that the fullness of the Godhead had to present Himself or manifest Himself IN THE FLESH for the sole purpose of bearing the whole sin of the world upon Himself. However, Christ entered into death, which is the action of God’s judgment against sin. One could say that Christ died the death of every person as He bore the sin of every person. Now in the darkness of death, What took place? Of twain, the Lord Jesus Christ made one new man. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace. (Ephesians 2:15)

Free in Christ
ONCE FOR ALL
When light burst from the sepulcher, they came to see where the Lord had lain, and heaven proclaimed through the angels, that, He is not here: for he is risen (Matthew 28:6); thus, fulfilling His own prophecy of His death and His resurrection. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ offers freedom from sin, the removal of death, and the liberty to become the sons of God. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the signpost of that freedom. Although man is guilty before God, if man accepts the conditions of the Court and the rule of the complete pardon, then that person is FREE IN CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL.
Think what this freedom gives us, freedom from sin, freedom from death, freedom from this world. We are translated in the Person of God’s dear Son to the heavenly side, and in the heavenly side we are sat down with the Man, Christ Jesus our Lord. The book of Romans states our complete guilt under sin and shows our complete guilt under the Law by the sins that we commit. There are no exceptions for man because there is no goodness in man, his mind, his conscience, his heart, his soul and his spirit have all been corrupted by sin. Man is without excuse before a Holy and Righteous God.
In the book of Romans, we are not allowed any human witnesses to plead our cause, although Job had three witnesses in his dilemma and in his burden (Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, Job 2:11). They were not there to represent God but to represent the mind and heart of man. It took a divine voice sent to witness against Job through Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram who spoke through the Spirit and cleared Job of all his guilt. (Job 32:9-37) The words that Elihu spoke were in the excellent power and judgment of God from heaven above: the complete Godhead.
In the book of Romans, it is the complete Godhead who finds mankind guilty: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The book of Romans must be considered as the heavenly Court with a heavenly Magistrate and Judge. This heavenly Court relates man’s guilt by the declarations in the book of Romans. All the people of the Old World who perished in the flood are proclaimed guilty God in Chapter 1 of Romans. Through the very first Chapter about the First World, God discloses that men perverted himself with man, and women perverted themselves with woman, and God declared them GUILTY.
The Law of God, the commandments given to Moses, also shows the corruption of man’s heart, soul and spirit. When you consider Romans Chapters 1 and 2, man is without excuse, he stands before the bar of God naked and undone, and every sin is revealed by the first witness that God gave to man. The name of this witness is conscience, and it lays before man his trail of sin, and man within his conscience cannot justify himself before God’s Court. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (Romans 1:19)
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: (Romans 2:14) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) (Romans 2:15) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:16)
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
The second witness that is brought into this issue is the deceitful heart. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9) I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10) The heart has proclaimed that man is deceitfully wicked, and the third witness that is brought is the final witness against man. This witness is death. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) For it is the finality of all the sin that preceded in the life of man. The prosecution needs no other witnesses; and the prosecution rests its case; and then the final argument. Now the defense brings in the witness of grace under the Law of Faith. This witness reveals to the Court (and to us) that payment for our trespasses has been paid. They have all been paid by another ONCE FOR ALL. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (Romans 5:1) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:28)

Made Perfect IN Christ
ONCE FOR ALL
The sheer mystery of The Law of Faith is as a seed. There is an outer shell, and then an inner membrane and then at the center you have the life of the kernel. Faith is the outer shell that must penetrate our death in man. Faith shows us the membrane (the membrane of grace) that leads us to the Kernel, the Son of God and our redemption through Him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24)
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Romans 3:24)
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (mercy seat) through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Romans 3:25)
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. (Romans 3:26)
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (Romans 3:27)
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:28)
When we examine The Law of Faith (Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith) (Romans 3:27) it does NOT declare that man is without sin for Romans 3:23 proves that ALL are under sin and the penalty for that sin. It is through the sacrifice of ONE heavenly Man and His shed blood that God can justify man by His grace. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24) Now, through The Law of Faith, (Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, in Romans 5:1 faith becomes the door that opens grace, as we see in Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Faith is the primary word of our salvation for without it, one cannot please God, and to HAVE faith, one must believe that GOD IS and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
When you think of the characteristics of man: man’s intelligence, man’s psyche, and man’s imagination they all lead man by sin to NOT believe in God. One must have a gift from God, and this gift is faith, and faith opens the door to grace, and once we enter in, we then have come into God’s kingdom of His dear Son. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. (Colossians 1:13) The Father of lights and perfection has put before us the image of the invisible God. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. (Colossians 1:15) Then to us, who He has pulled out of darkness and given life and light in Christ, we hear through the trumpet of the loud voice of the Spirit His kingdom proclaimed from the pages of His holy word: Verily, verily and Truly, truly, and Amen and Amen . . . .
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:Â (Colossians 1:16)
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:17)
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18)
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;Â (Colossians 1:19)
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (Colossians 1:20)
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled (Colossians 1:21)
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:Â (Colossians 1:22)
When we enter into grace, we glance back, and the door is closed ONCE FOR ALL. We have been changed, we have been created anew, we have become the children of the living God. He has brought us into His celestial city, His heavenly Jerusalem. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Galatians 4:26) We have a maternal relationship with the City of our God, and we have come to mount Zion above, and to the City of the Living God. It is the heavenly Jerusalem that we look up to and desire above all the cities of the earth. As Daniel bowed his head and face toward Jerusalem, and prayed with all his heart that the people of Israel would be restored to their earthly city, we, as the children of God, born of the Spirit of God, look for a heavenly city, whose Builder and Maker is God. And this we share by grace with an innumerable company of angels.
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, (Hebrews 12:22) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Hebrews 12:23) And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)
Here we see the general assembly and church of the firstborn from the dead, which is written in heaven, the City of our God. He is the Judge of ALL, and therefore, we have the spirits of just men made perfect. When this purification takes place, God the Father sees the children of God perfect IN His Son. How can a defiled object, as man, full of sin and death, be made perfect before God? Here we have one of the great mysteries of God. It is in God’s power not only to justify, but He can also impart His righteousness to those whom He has redeemed. God can take utter defilement and make it white a snow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18) The darkest sin, or sins, has been totally cleansed in the blood of Christ. We see that we have just men, justified by Christ’s atonement made perfect IN Christ ONCE FOR ALL.

Only ONE Divine Seed
ONCE FOR ALL
We must also look at God’s righteousness IN the Lord Jesus Christ. God SENT the perfect GIFT to man in His beloved Son. It was the determinate counsels of God and His foreknowledge that led Christ to the cross of His sacrifice. God has a perfect memory, not like us who are mortal, He remembers the scene of the cross and that His Son was put to death by the wicked hands of men. When God looks out over humanity (and because Christ died for ALL the sins of the world) there is one sin that in the present dispensation of grace that GOD CANNOT FORGIVE and that is trampling under foot the Son of God. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29) There are three things mentioned in this verse that when denied by man, then man is committing his soul to eternal judgment in the flames of the lake of fire. First, is trampling under foot the Christ of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The second point is when man counts the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing. And thirdly, treating contemptuously the Spirit of grace.
Since Christ was offered ONCE FOR ALL, there is NO justification for the sins of Hebrews 10:29. It is the sin unto death. Although the crucifixion was an earthly act by the hands of wicked men the Lord Jesus knowing what was before Him, declared, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. But NOW in the new light of grace, man cannot put to shame the Lord Jesus Christ. If man takes this attitude against the risen Christ, he has no forgiveness of sin. And yet week after week, the Lord Jesus Christ by the words of men, is put to an open shame. They deny His Person, as the Living God, and the fullness of the Godhead bodily. They deny Him as their Creator, and their very breath of life, and most of all, in Hebrews 10:29, they trample upon His holiness and righteousness. This is the world in which we live. It is the PRESENT EVIL WORLD, and heaven is looking down and preparing for the final judgment of the wicked and unholy world full of sin. We need to understand as Christians and children of God the plight of Lot, for we dwell in a world that is the PRESENT SODOM all around us, and it vexes our soul and spirit in what we see and hear.
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; (2nd Peter 2:6)Â And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (2nd Peter 2:7)Â (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) (2nd Peter 2:8)Â The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: (2nd Peter 2:9)
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. (Isaiah 57:1)
The sacrificial death of Christ was a heavenly fulfillment by a heavenly Man against sin. The judgment of sin on earth gave us the forgiveness of sin in heaven and consequently, it pleased the Lord to bruise the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53:10) The wording from Isaiah 53 takes us back to the garden, for it was foretold to the woman and to Satan in the garden before the tree of death, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (Genesis 3:15) The Holy Spirit used the word bruise to show us the connection of the Son of God with the seed of the woman. It is also foretold that Christ would bruise the head of the serpent. In Christ we have the divine Seed of God sent from heaven, and it is foretold that Christ will see His seed in Isaiah 53. This is the voice of the Holy Spirit through His prophet Isaiah, more than seven hundred years BEFORE that holy thing, the holy Seed would come in the fulfillment of this prophecy in Luke 1:35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
It was foretold that Christ saw His own seed . . . he shall see his seed. In Luke 1:35, we have the process of that holy Seed coming from heaven’s glory in the power of the Highest. This power defines the supernatural act of placing a Seed from heaven in the womb of Mary, and this Seed who would come forth out of her womb as the Son of God. This was NOT the seed of man. When God told Eve that her seed would bruise the head of the serpent it was God foretelling this particular instance when God would give His Seed to Mary, the woman, to possess it in her womb so that Holy thing would come forth as the Son of God. Let’s look at another verse, given by the Spirit of God in Galatians. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16) This reveals that there is ONE Seed which has supernatural life to be presented to man in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ . . . to thy seed (singular) which is Christ. In this verse, by using only the name Christ, we see the Holy One of God, the anointed one of God and we see God’s dear Son coming forth into the world as a divine and holy Seed placed in the womb of Mary. This was NOT a seed of the earth, of man, nor the seed of Abraham, but the supernatural power of the Highest brought His eternal life, His own personal possession of life into the world of man. Christ was not conceived nor born after the carnal commandments of man. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16) Mary’s conception of the Seed from heaven was by the Highest Himself. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. (Psalm 87:5) The Seed of eternal life came in the power of His endless life. (Hebrews 7:16) This verse shows us that Christ was NOT OF ADAM and was NOT under the carnal commandment to go forth and to multiple as given to Adam and Eve. Another divine point of Christ’s deity is found when God the Father brought Christ into the world when His heavenly Father proclaimed that HE brought Christ into the world, and that at THAT point, God the Father commanded that all the holy angels should worship Christ at His birth. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (Hebrews 1:5) And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (Hebrews 1:6)
This would explain that on the night of the birth of the Lord Jesus the angels declared Glory to God in the highest. They proclaimed this, not to heaven above, but to the earth below. This was their divine worship of the glory of God that had come forth to be the Savior of the world. This shows the deity of Christ AT His birth, for the angels of God worshiped Him, and proclaimed His glory as the Highest Himself.
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. (Isaiah 43:11) I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. (Isaiah 43:12)
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god. (Psalm 81:9)
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name [is] Jealous, [is] a jealous God:Â (Exodus 34:14)
When we see all the parts of the divine puzzle, we can see the supernatural power of God working over the world and in the sons of men. For it is His Seed that same Seed which is Christ, who brings forth the new birth that a man may be born again, and the power of the Highest comes upon that individual as the Spirit of God and a person is born again through the womb of faith into the realm of grace and eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, (Luke 2:13) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:14) There are some who say that Christ did not have the Spirit of God UNTIL He was baptized in the river Jordan, this verse from Luke Chapter 2 denies this heresy, And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (Hebrews 1:6) The word of God warns us to beware of false prophets which trample under foot the Son of God. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29)
In Hebrews Chapter 1, it is God the Father who brings the only begotten into the world, this is singular, only one divine Seed, only one divine holy thing, only one Son of God and He is brought forth by God the Father to be the manifest image of God upon the earth as the very FULLNESS of the Godhead bodily from His birth to His ascension back into glory. There in God’s glorious realm, Christ presented Himself to God the Father as the Holy One who accomplished the will and purpose of God the Father on earth, and completed the work of redemption, for God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, and God has declared to His Son, ‘Sit down at my right hand until I make all thine enemies thy footstool.’ But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? (Hebrews 1:13)

The Cross of Death and Glory
ONCE FOR ALL
Now let’s consider our life in Christ. Our divine birth takes place by the supernatural power of God. It is God who has not only given the Gift of His Son, but from within His Son comes forth as the gift of faith, and this gift of faith unlocks the door of grace and the Spirit of the Highest comes upon us and we are born again.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6)Â Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:8) Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (John 3:9) Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (John 3:10) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. (John 3:11) If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (John 3:12)
We do not apply this full revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ to us in its fullness and the divine power of the Highest Himself. Mortal man cannot understand the things of the heavenlies, nor the divine act of being conceived by the Holy Ghost and born into a new realm of the Highest Himself in the kingdom of God. Man in his natural element of being born in the likeness of Adam cannot understand the things of the redeemed that God has laid out for them to believe and to understand the power of the Highest within them. Nicodemus had no understanding of the heavenly things. He had no understanding of the power of the Spirit of the Highest. Although Nicodemus was knowledgeable in the Law of God and a renowned teacher and scholar who taught others, he had NO understanding of the holy. Only those who have been quickened by God the Spirit and have the Spirit of God within understand the divine heartbeat, the divine breath, and the divine holiness which are found in the word of God. Another misconception of the world of man and the world of man’s religion is that Christ was NOT under sin. He came into the world as that Holy Thing WITHOUT sin and outside of the inheritance of the sin of Adam. Even the Lord’s temptation in the wilderness by the devil himself was not to reveal any imperfections in Christ, but to reveal His complete power and dominion OVER sin in the presence of the great deceiver, the great tempter who caused Adam to surrender himself to sin, and death, and to the works of the devil.
So, prior to our redemption, the Lord prepared us for the seed of faith, and conceived us not by blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God the Holy Spirit that we can take out place in heaven as the sons of God, and the redeemed inheritance of Jesus Christ our Lord. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;Â (Hebrews 1:2)Â
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:17)
Israel was called out of Egypt by the supernatural power of God to be an earthly people for Himself, so that He might dwell among them; they were the only people of time that God desired to dwell among and now, God is calling out a heavenly people to dwell with Him in heaven that they may be partakers of His glory and the express image of His Son.
He entered the world as a Holy Seed and walked as a holy child and a holy man, and as a holy Man He made peace for us by the blood of His cross. Some call the cross the tree of life for at that place death was swallowed up in victory. As the redeemed on earth, we see the horror of the cross, where our Savior was crucified, but Christ, even before His crucifixion, saw within the cross His own glory. For in John 17, He specifically asked the Father of lights and perfection to glorify Him in the work that was before Him.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3) I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. (John 17:4) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (John 17:5)
The Lord Jesus was already aware of the glory that was to come in His death on the cross of Calvary. And NOW, as He has sat down in heaven, in His glory, He is calling out a people for Himself to be partakers of His glory.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:21) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 17:22) I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (John 17:23)
We, as the sons of God, can boastfully say that the Holy thing, that Holy child, that Holy Man (who is the manifest image of God) LIVES in every believer. It is the Spirit of God IN Christ who comes upon us as the power of the Highest, and we enter into that supernatural womb of God’s faith by the power of the Seed of the Spirit of Christ. This is the Seed of the generation of Jesus Christ. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (Matthew 1:1) This is the generation of faith. From Abel unto the end of time when grace will be in its fullness in ALL those who have believed in Christ. There shall be time no longer, and faith will be the conqueror of the Age of Mankind. All will be complete in the words of the fullness of time in the words It is finished, and in the words ONCE FOR ALL.

A Man on the Throne of Grace for Us
ONCE FOR ALL
In our present age we have a Man in heaven for us who was manifested on earth as the Eternal image of God. He is also the Eternal Seed IN heaven. For the seed is within Himself. And this Seed produces faith in those who believe IN Him. For IN Him ALL fullness dwells. And He gives those who come to Him eternal life in the very power of His endless life. It is Christ who gives the power of conception in the believer, for they are created IN Christ to be His Eternal Body, the Church, which is the Bride of Christ. She has been born as a result of the conflict of the cross, for He in His sacrificial death and shed blood, has washed her garments clean, white as snow in the blood of the Lamb. There are those who study the word of God from the outside and there are those who enter into its pages to drink of its fountain, and devour the manna found within its holy presence. When we read the word of God every letter, every word, every symbol and number has been placed on the page by the Spirit of Christ, who is the Eternal Word. The Lord Jesus Himself told us that we LIVE by the very breath of His word, for man does not live by bread alone, but by every breath and word from the mouth of God. Just as the Lord Jesus is the Eternal Son, then every word that He has given us is Eternal. The psalmist would tell us, Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89) Now listen, there is a library in heaven. And in heaven, the Word of God is more than just the Bible that we have before us. There are the Books of Life, there is the book that Daniel sealed up, and there is the voice of ‘the thunders,’ and what John was given and told to seal up. All these books are in the Library of God, and each book has been sealed by their Author. And we are encouraged by the Spirit of God, as the children of God, to make the word of God part of our living life, part of our mind, our heart, soul and spirit. And now as we walk upon this earth, as the faithful scribe, He is writing our lives as a volume in the Book of Life, settled in heaven. Through the word of God, the soul should hunger for the glories of heaven to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better, to leave this wicked world, but in our heart, there is a parenthesis for Christ is still writing our lives and will do so until the very second of our departure. We are the epistles of God written in the blood of Christ, on this earth today, proving our faith as Abel in his and our more excellent sacrifice: the Son of God. As God’s Christ was made in the likeness of flesh, so we, the children of God, will be changed into His likeness, the likeness of the Man in heaven for us: and we will be like Him. Heaven is the home of the new man, and he can only have power on earth through the time that he spends in heaven with the Man Christ Jesus. This is where we should see ourselves, as we are in the sympathies of Christ. The sympathies of the cross have brought us to birth and given us life in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. And these same sympathies should go out from us based on grace and truth in Jesus Christ. Our mirror where we see our image should be the face of Jesus Christ in our inner being.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. (Hebrews 4:14) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
The throne of grace should not only apply to us from Christ but should be revealed in us as His child. In verse 14, we see a great truth, we HAVE a great high priest who is the Minister of the covenant in His own blood. But look what the Spirit of God tells us, this great high priest has PASSED INTO THE HEAVENS. This reveals to us the priestly ministry that Jesus, the Son of God, performed when He was upon the earth as the manifest image of God. He was the Great High Priest in His sympathies to man, as He healed the sick, as His ministry comforted the poor, as He opened the eyes of the blind, as He cleansed the lepers, and raised the dead. This was done in His sympathies as we see in John 11:35, Jesus wept. It is here that Jesus wept, it is herein the presence of death that God through His omniscience knew all the trials, the plight, the agony, and the mountains of sin that was against all of humanity. In the presence of the judgment for sin, in the presence of death, GOD CRIED. We see the fullness here of the sympathies of our Great High Priest for ALL humanity in the judgment of death. And this Great High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, was Melchisedec on earth ministering to man in ALL His priestly compassion and sympathies, and He (that same Jesus) is PASSED INTO THE HEAVENS FOR US. And this same Jesus will return to His millennial kingdom on mount Zion where He will seat as the High Priest of eternity and as the King of kings without end. This all shows us today as the children of God, His passion and sympathies for us as He sits upon His throne of grace. He walked the path of temptation, yet, He passed the path without sin. He went into OUR death to deliver us from the power of sin, and as we see in Noah, Noah had found grace in the eyes of the Lord showing us that the throne of grace is an eternal position of the High Priest after the order of Melchisedec, the Son of God. And this throne of grace is the same yesterday, today and forever. Yes, Christ was the Melchisedec of Genesis Chapter 14. Yes, Christ shared with Abraham the knowledge of the blood of the cup and the broken bread of life. Abraham understood with all his heart and power the redemptive work of Christ in his presence, although it would not come until the fullness of time. This gave Abraham the power to look into the eyes of the king of Sodom, the burning eyes of Satan, and tell that wicked one that he had lifted up his hand to the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. There was nothing that the king of Sodom could give to Abraham. There was nothing that the demented Satan could bestow on Abraham for Abraham had sat down with Melchisedec, and Melchisedec had told him, This do in remembrance of me. And as the disciples, although we are the children of God, many times we wonder, What manner of man is this? This heavenly Man, this Man FULL of divine sympathies and grace toward us, the Creator of all things, not only seats upon a throne of grace, but bids us to come to that very throne and empty the burdens of our hearts and sorrows to the Great High Priest forever after the oath and order of Melchisedec. And this throne of grace is open for every lamb of the flock. They not only have the sympathies of the Great High Priest, but a guiding Shepherd measuring and guiding our steps. Yes, Christ as the Master Scribe keeps His word by the word of His power. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)

The Treasures in His Word
ONCE FOR ALL
There is no error in this Master Scribe and every word that He writes is written for eternity and KEPT by His power. Today, our story, our life, is being written in His Book of Life with the eternal pen of His grace. What will be written today for you and for me? What will the pages contain forever? Oh, Lord, Thy word is written in and settled in heaven. This is why the apostle John in his first epistle told us that we have an unction from the Holy One, and in this unction, and in our spirit, we should love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. We should put every person aside, and in doing this, examine our own hearts, our own spirit, and our own souls. We should examine all by the word of God, and prove our heart, prove our spirit, prove our soul that they are embraced in the faith and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ so that we may prove to ourselves that we have a position before the very throne of grace.
The Divine Scribe is writing as He looks down upon us, for the eyes of the Lord go to and fro throughout the whole earth. Many times, I have heard messages on the good steward, but I think that many miss the truth that has been buried by a materialistic world; for we have one treasure on this earth that we very rarely consider, and this treasure is our life. We are to be good stewards of our life before an Almighty God who gave His life for us and washed us white as snow in His blood. Part of our stewardship is to MINE the treasures from the word of God, and then take those treasures and hide them in our hearts so that we can recall them in time of need. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalm 119:11) This also is part of the ministry of our Great High Priest from His throne of grace. When we need the treasures, He will recall those jewels within our hearts to comfort and to strengthen us. All through the scriptures, through every age, man has been called by God to be obedient to His word, and to hide His words in their hearts. I give you this concerning the treasures in the word of God for the heart: they are innumerable and let me remind you that you will take NOTHING from this earth EXCEPT the treasures within your heart. You will ascend from this earth with the love of God in your heart. You will ascend from this earth with the treasures of God that is hidden within your heart. You will ascend up into glory with the measure of life and time that you committed to the Lord while you walked this earth. Now is the time and the hour of your labor for Christ, once you transcend the worlds into heaven every word of God that is within you will travel with you. The word of God is bread and meat to the child of God in Jesus Christ. The word of God has been given to reveal the very fullness of God. It is the word of God that proves your faith in your relationship with Christ: you are either UP THERE with Christ or DOWN HERE with the world.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4)
This is one of the witnesses of the Spirit of God within the pages of the word of God that we who have professed faith in Jesus Christ, the very fiber of our new person in our new birth, should not only desire the milk, the sincere milk of the word, but our mind, heart, soul and spirit should be seeking that which is above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. It is only when our being sees these beauties above that we can escape from the fallacies and traps of this evil world. Our strength MUST come from above from the eternal fortress of Christ through His word. The inhabitants of the world without Christ find no beauty in the Son of God, neither do they find beauty in the word of God. The Bible is a beautiful garden, an abundantly rich terrarium of God’s word full of vivid and invigorating colors, and wonderful fragrances flowing from fresh flowers in bloom, and cool breezes that gently sooth the bruised and harried soul. It is the ONLY BOOK in this sinful world that stands pure in its generations.
As Noah walked with God in God’s righteousness according to God’s word, we do the same today: walking in God’s Christ as Noah. The same words that condemned the old world that was then are the same words that condemn the evil and wickedness and the imaginations of man’s hearts today.

Cleansed and Accepted by God
ONCE FOR ALL
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10, opens other treasures to us, for it is the finality of our sanctification ONCE FOR ALL in the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ that was prepared for Him in Hebrews 10:5. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. The sanctification of every child of God is settled in heaven ONCE and FOR ALL for God has placed the eternal stamp of approval in the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:10) You can put a thousand people in the body of Adam, you can lash them to the altar of sacrifice, and they would not atone for one sin, for they would be powerless against death. The wonder of the cross of Christ is that upon that cross was the Man with the power of an endless life. He had the power to lay it down and the power to take it again, and IN that transition of His sacrifice He destroyed him who had the power of death.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:14) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:15)
Without Christ there would be no divine sanctification. God’s righteousness would not be satisfied, and God’s judgment would fall on every person without mercy and without grace. Without that divine satisfaction in the sacrifice of Christ the defilement of sin would never be cleansed. The cleansing power was determined by the blood of Christ for we are not only sanctified by the offering of His body, we are sanctified AND cleansed by the blood of Christ. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. (Hebrews 13:12) The combination of Hebrews 10:10 with Hebrews 13:12 is that in being sanctified BY His Body we have the judicial judgment on Christ and we enter into that judgment in our new birth and we are set free IN Christ. In the shed blood (Hebrews 13:12) we have the washing of our defilement; therefore, we stand clean white as snow in the presence of God ONCE and FOR ALL. In the offering of Christ, we also have the transaction of our new birth, in this transaction we receive the wisdom of God IN Jesus Christ, we receive the righteousness of God IN Jesus Christ, and we receive sanctification BY Jesus Christ, and we receive the redemption of our soul THROUGH the Lord Jesus Christ. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. (1st Corinthians 1:30) The Son of God by giving His soul an offering for sin (Isaiah 53:10) when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, but of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption in the very offering of His soul. He has sanctified His people, the redeemed, with His Body, His blood and His soul.

Man’s Need for a Restored Soul
ONCE FOR ALL
Repetition in the word of God is good for the soul. In many ways, the word of God, when received with sincerity, builds the image of God within the heart. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. So, in repetition in Hebrews 10:10 we are sanctified by the Body of Christ offered on the cross, and this Body was the Body that was PREPARED for Him BEFORE the foundations of the world. (Hebrews 10:5) This was a prophecy WRITTEN throughout the volume of the book of the Old Testament. All the prophetic writings concerning the Son of God were given to man that upon the manifestation of the Body that was prepared for Him, man would believe.
We are sanctified through His blood. (Hebrews 13:12) Here we have more than one witness. We have a combination of His Body being sacrificed and His life’s blood being shed. Thirdly, the depth of His Being, the very soul of Christ, was offered as a sacrifice unto God. These three form a unified combination of the sanctification and justification of those who believe in Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 53:10) Man spends most of his time and reasoning on the outward image of God in Jesus Christ. Very rarely does anyone consider Spirit, for God is Spirit. Very rarely does man consider the soul of Christ, or the heart of Christ and yet man, within has a heart, spirit and soul. Christ offered His own soul to restore your soul.
God made man the custodian of his own soul. Why? because one of the great miracles that takes place in the new birth is the restoration of the soul. Therefore, Christ offered His own soul to restore your soul. God tells us of our need in Psalm 23, and that it is only God who can restore our soul. When the Lord Jesus was offering His soul, He saw the travail, the suffering, the anguish, all the burdens that man, under sin, carries every day. This was all part of the travail of His own soul. And He offered His soul in the fiery judgment of God to restore the souls of others ONCE FOR ALL.
God has made every person a custodian of their own soul. When we follow the Lord’s own soul being offered for sin (Isaiah 53:10) when we follow it through in Isaiah 53, we see the travail of His soul in His anguish on the cross both physically and spiritually. In the travail of His soul, He poured it out as something that was melted by the heat of judgment. However, after the travail of His soul came a satisfaction of birth in all those who would be restored by His offering of His soul. We also should see that part of the battle of the adversary was to destroy the soul of Christ. Because of Isaiah 53:11 we know that the adversary was NOT successful. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. In the great conflict of the cross, although man was used by the adversary to show the iniquity buried deep in the heart of mankind against God, man was fulfilling the outward battle of the unseen battle of Satan against God. In the realm of Christ’s soul, it was hand to hand combat against Satan. Satan was there to destroy the soul of Christ, and to keep God from fulfilling His determinate counsels to provide Himself a sacrifice for the sin of the whole world ONCE FOR ALL.
The proof that Christ was successful in this UNSEEN battle against His adversary and our adversary, the devil, He could sit down satisfied that He had paid the price for sin; He had overcome death and the works of the devil. By the way, those works included all that took place on that great Passover, the last Passover of the Lamb of God ONCE and FOR ALL. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:12) Here is the result in Isaiah 53:12 of the finished work of Christ on the cross. The Spirit of God is showing us His triumphant victory over the adversary, and over sin and death. If one would open their eyes wide they would see His future kingdom when He sits upon His throne in Jerusalem having all the spoils of the world laid at His feet. For by offering His soul, and on the power and wealth of His soul, we have in His millennial kingdom a fulfillment of the prophetic word of Isaiah 53:12.
In verse 11 of Isaiah 53, we have the phrase and shall be satisfied. This shows the completion of the work of Christ. He was satisfied with both His work FOR us and satisfied with His work IN us. We are the result of His work of justification, the bestowal of His righteousness in His Body, His blood and the travail of His soul. In Isaiah 53:11, we have the word iniquities: for he shall bear their iniquities. Where did these iniquities have their roots. Let’s read Ezekiel 28:15, Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. I want you to understand that Lucifer was standing before God and God was speaking directly to him. This is not merely information for us, but it is a condemnation of Lucifer. This is the first time that iniquity is mentioned in the creation of God, and it is in heaven NOT on the earth. This is also in the total realm of the kingdom of God. This was Lucifer, the anointed covering cherub, who was responsible for all the worship of God. Lucifer had actually walked the fires of God, and he was decorated with all the precious stones of authority, and in this position his heart was turned to iniquity. He lusted for power, and dominion over God. This iniquity brought forth lust, and lust brought forth sin. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:16) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:15) Although James is instructing the realm of mankind, man in his own iniquity is a copycat of Lucifer in the phrase that is anchored in the heart and soul of mankind, ye shall be as gods. Man is a reflection of Lucifer’s iniquities and sin which Adam brought into the world. As Lucifer brought sin and iniquity into the spiritual kingdom of God, so Adam brought that same sin and iniquity into his own being and into the natural tangible world of mankind. James relates the word lust in a very profound manner because the mind begins the process of sin, it is the thoughts that Lucifer had concerning the greatness of his own being, and the multitude of his own merchandise that caused him to lust after the power of the kingdom of God. And this brought WAR into heaven. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels. (Revelation 12:7) As Lucifer was cast down to the ground, (Isaiah 14) he continued his war against God by wanting power over Adam and the creation of God on earth which would lead to power over the nations. This has been a continual battle that began with the iniquity within Lucifer/Satan, the dragon, the serpent, and the devil. As these things led to the downfall of Lucifer, so the same iniquity and sin within man (because of Adam’s disobedience to God) led to man becoming a willing proxy of Satan against God in the continual conflict of both Satan and man trying to usurp the throne of God. We see the fulfillment of this in the tribulation period when the Beast, out of the pit, is revealed, and this man of sin takes dominion over the whole world and goes into the Temple of God and shows himself as God, and through Satan’s influence and power takes full control over the earth and is worshiped by all who have the mark of his name: the mark of The Beast.
The Church was inserted into time as a bulwark against the works of Satan, and the works of fallen man. All those who have been born of God since the sacrifice of Christ have been in a physical and spiritual battle against Lucifer and against fellow man. Although we have been changed by our new creation, we still live in the realm of mankind, and we battle against the world, and their leader Lucifer/Satan every day.
When Lucifer attached himself to the woman in the garden, he came as a shining beautiful serpent. The woman could not see that he was full of guile for guile was unknown by Adam and the woman. So, the serpent came to attract the woman, and as an angel of light, he lured her to the tree, the forbidden tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Thus, cunningly persuaded her through his iniquity to desire sin and to act disobediently against her Creator God. Satan was well aware that God gave Adam dominion over all the animals and all that breathed on the earth, as Adam was the official Federal Head over all the earth. Seeing that God has established His divine order in these two creatures, Satan saw Eve as the weaker vessel, and that Adam could only be approached through the woman; therefore, it was Eve who Satan used to pass the forbidden fruit of the tree to her husband; thus, the woman was drawn into the battle of Satan against God. She became a willing proxy to overthrow Adam. This was also where the battle between the sexes began. Man in Adam brought sin into the world, and all relationships changed because of the enmity in man’s heart. Man therefore, became an ally with the devil, and a child of sin of the devil. This enmity turned Adam against God and he became aligned with the author of enmity, the devil. So, the war, the battle that began in heaven would be now continued with Satan and man against the Almighty God. Although sin brought forth death that did not deter the iniquity and sin within mankind. Man would continue in disobedience and war against the Almighty God as a willing proxy in the hands of Satan. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12) Through Adam’s disobedience to God in bringing sin into the world, he set the spiritual world in turmoil whether he realized this or not, Adam was then and now separated from God. There is a hint that he did realize this, for both Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves and hid themselves among the trees. A very simple example, when a child does something wrong, does he run to parents to confess, no, the child hides, or hides the sin. So, by Adam hiding among the trees, we see that they understood their responsibility and by knowing their nakedness they had entered into the realm of iniquity under Satan’s dominion. Throughout mankind’s history, this iniquity, this sin is in EVERY person born of woman. Only Christ, the Holy Thing came into this world WITHOUT iniquity and sin, and this is why Isaiah does not leave out the word iniquities out of Chapter 53. Three times in this Chapter we have the iniquities of mankind mentioned. Not only do we have iniquities, but Christ absorbed these iniquities on the cross of Calvary.
But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6) He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. (Isaiah 53:11)
In Isaiah 53:3, Christ was BRUISED for our iniquities. This takes us back to the prophecy given by God in Genesis Chapter 3 in the seed of the woman. In Isaiah 53:6, we see the iniquity of us all was laid upon Him. In the New Testament, He bore in Himself our sin on the tree. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1st Peter 2:24) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. (Colossians 2:14) In Isaiah 53:11 we see the knowledge of God, this is the foreknowledge and historical knowledge of the Almighty God concerning ALL the iniquities of mankind. This discloses the completion of the work of Christ on the cross, that the root of iniquity that was found in Lucifer who brought forth sin, was the SAME iniquity that was transferred to Adam and to all of mankind, and Christ removed THAT iniquity on His cross, and to reveal to us the completeness of His act, he nailed it there in His own Body, the Body that was prepared for Him, the Body and blood that was for our sanctification, and our justification before God.
Christ TOTALLY took that iniquity away so that those who believe in Him can enter IN to peace with God for Christ is the Prince of peace through His sacrifice for us. Through faith, we have joined the army of God and we are in God’s fight against the sin and evil of this world. And we come face to face with the children of Satan every day. For everyone who is outside of the redemption that is IN Jesus Christ is of their father, the devil. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1st John 3:8) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1st John 3:9) In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (1st John 3:10)Â
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. (1st John 3:12)

The Soul Restored
ONCE FOR ALL
Man is a steward of his own soul, God makes man aware of the need of his soul to be restored. This is confirmed in Psalm 23:3, therefore, we shall see the soul of Christ in new light, for He poured out His soul unto death. He, who could not die, came in a Body prepared for Him, so that HE, WHO COULD NOT DIE, could enter into death, He poured out His soul into death. He presented His very soul TO death. (Isaiah 53:12) He destroyed death by His endless life. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16)
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. (Hebrews 2:9)
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Hebrews 2:10)
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, (Hebrews 2:11)
Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. (Hebrews 2:12)
And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. (Hebrews 2:13)
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;Â (Hebrews 2:14)
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:15)
ONCE FOR ALL, ONCE in the fullness of time, came the Man born for ALL TIME, to put an end to sin and death for ALL TIME . . . ONCE FOR ALL. This is the Son of man, Christ Jesus, born out of the womb of heaven to redeem mankind to Himself. He is the ONLY ONE who can be called both Son of man, and Son of God. The ONLY ONE that God proclaimed is born out of heaven and not out of the earth, for God the Father proclaimed, This day have I begotten thee. And to show that His birth was from heaven and not from the earth, the angles burst out in praise and worship for the infant born in Bethlehem of Judea. This worship revealed the image of God in the infant child, that this likeness of flesh was DEITY, the Almighty God, the fullness of the Godhead in the manger in Bethlehem. The Prince of life came to give life to man, who had perished at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil: to take the complete man in sin, his heart, soul and spirit and to create it anew, and to give that person, a title, as one of the sons of God. We receive a new body in Christ, we receive a new heart in Christ, we receive a new Spirit in Christ, however, we do not get a NEW soul, our soul from eternity past is RESTORED by the endless power of life in Christ.
We would be negligent if we did not relate the final resting place of the souls of those who have not Christ as their Savior. And as usual, the word of God tells the final chapter much better than any human voice.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (Revelation 20:11)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Revelation 20:12)
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (Revelation 20:13)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (Revelation 20:14)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
How did these souls get in this position? When they were born into this world, they were brought in with the burden of sin within them. However, as John 3:16 tells us, God gave the most precious thing that He had, God gave His Son from heaven’s glory, for God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself.
This judgment at the great white throne is for ALL those who would not believe in God as their Savior. Among the churchites, almost all can recite John 3:16, however, if you ask them to recite verses 17 – 21, they will stumble and they will show that they have very little knowledge of what follows John 3:16.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17)
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18)
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19)
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (John 3:20)
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:21)
Revelation 20 is the final result and destination of those who will not believe in John Chapter 3, and the result will be those who love darkness and hated the light in Jesus Christ at the great white throne of judgment will be cast into the lake of fire, where they will experience the second death and their souls will be tormented with the devil, and the Beast, and the false prophet day and night for all eternity.
I might mention that for the saints of God in heaven there is no day and there is no night. Time has ceased for them for they are in the presence of their God, and they rejoice to be with Him, however, there seems to be a time that continues in the lake of fire, for we are told that they will suffer both day and night. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10) Compare Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. with Revelation 21:7, He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Those who are not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. Well, who are these people? Who are these souls? In verse 8 of Revelation Chapter 21, we have a description of them by the Almighty God. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. There are eight distinct qualifications for those who will be cast into the lake of fire. The first qualification is fearful. They have not been released from the fear of death, for they do not KNOW the overcomer of death in Jesus Christ. And why are they in this fearful state? because they are unbelieving. John 3 shows us they have not believed in the only begotten Son of God. And they are abominable, and I refer you to Romans 1 for the full definition of these abominable individuals. They are murderers as Cain, who was of that wicked one, the devil. They are whoremongers because they have uncontrollable lusts and cannot bridle their own bodies. They are sorcerers, they dwell in the occult and are fascinated by the things of the occult. They are idolaters, they worship other Gods who are no Gods, but because of their vain imaginations and enmity against God they build for themselves idols and worship them as Gods. And then we have all liars. We live in the Age of the Great Lie. The devil, who is a liar from the beginning, has taken the heart, soul and spirit of not only man, but of nations and the world. On top of every throne, sitting upon that throne or on the seat of authority are liars without exception. Whether you like to believe it or not, the father of lies, the devil, has put his children in control of all the nations of the world. They are ruling the world individually from their seats of tyranny, and these, as well as many others, will have their part in the lake of fire which will burn with brimstone, and this is the second death. Remember these words, day and night for ever and ever. There will not be the Son of God to reach into the fire to bring them out, nor save them, as He saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego during the days of Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel.
Now only in the word of God can we spiritually turn back time. We have the time of the lake of fire, where there is no reprieve, however, when we turn back to the day of Jesus Christ which was the fullness of time, we read these things about those who believe on Jesus Christ and those who do not believe on the Son of God in John 3:18, He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Remember all those previous categories in Revelation 21:8? Now notice in John3:18, there is only one category. It is he (any person) who believes on the Son of God, the only begotten of the Father, who will not experience condemnation for they are IN Christ Jesus. I repeat, you are the custodian of your own soul, and only Christ can restore your soul. Your soul will spend eternity either WITH Christ, or in the lake of fire. Your soul is the most treasured possession that you have. You need to come to Christ for your soul needs to be restored.
Christ obtained the right to judge all of mankind for He offered HIS SOUL, He saw the travail of HIS SOUL, and He bore the iniquity of man IN HIS SOUL so that He could fulfill all righteousness and that He, and He alone, could be a just Judge in both justifying man or condemning those who refuse to receive justification by faith in the Son of God. He who had NO sin, NO iniquity, neither was guile found in His mouth, He took all of them, the sin of the whole world, and with death He buried them in the earth, and then broke forth on resurrection day as One New Man from the dead. He obtained a resurrection glory as He had previously declared to Martha in John 11:25 and 26. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
The soul of every person is eternal. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) As we have seen that in order that man be returned to God, man MUST be a custodian of his own soul. The soul of man needs to be restored. It is the deepest inner part of man that God saw buried in the heart of the earth BEFORE it was brought forth in every person’s birth.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. (Psalm 139:13) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14) My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. (Psalm 139:15) Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. (Psalm 139:16)
The soul is the deepest part of man, although man cannot see his soul, it is the most precious part of his being. His soul, although neither an organ, nor a visible part of his image, surrounds his life, surrounds his being, surrounds his heart, his mind, his conscience, his spirit, breath, bone, water, blood and sinew. Only a GREAT CREATOR could create such a being, this is why we have in our world today the fallacy and evil and wicked teaching of evolution. For evolution does not recognize the soul of man. Let me give you this thought in my own words, ‘What shall it profit any man, throughout ALL of time, if he gains ALL the wealth, ALL the power, ALL the glory of this world, and lose his own soul?’ God in Jesus Christ recognized that and told THAT truth from His heart to all of mankind. There is NO value in the creation of earth and mankind that is worth more than the eternal soul of one person.
From the dust God formed man, grit by grit, into an image, and that image stood before the Son of God with no life, no spirit, and without a soul. It was Christ who is the possessor of eternal life. He is the possessor of all life. He breathed into that image of dust and created man as a living soul. And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7) It was God who called this image MAN. It was Christ Jesus who gave an image to Adam, like unto his Creator. However, Adam did not possess deity, either within or without. However, man was totally unique in the image of his Creator. Man was separated from the beasts. He was the ONLY ONE with the image of his Creator. And then, as Lucifer brought sin into heaven, Adam also trespassed against God’s order, and God’s Law of Sin and Death. (Romans 8:2) This brought sin and iniquity into the world, and it fulfilled the Law of Sin and Death. For we remember what James wrote, that when lust has conceived and iniquity is found in us, it brings forth sin, and when sin is finished, whatever that day or time maybe, it brings forth death.
There is a place that is a good example of sin and death in Philadelphia, PA. It is Kensington Avenue, every day you can drive by and see the work of iniquity, the work of sin, and the work of death as men and women wallow in their own filth as sows in muck and mire. These poor souls have lost control over their own souls. They are victims of the sins of this world and the iniquity within the heart of every person that comes into this world. And when sin and iniquity is finished, it brings forth DEATH. They failed in being steward of their souls. They have given their souls over to the works of the devil. But I will tell you a great truth that these people in this stagnant pool of despond are no different from the people who live in mansions of gold and silver and have given their souls to sin and iniquity. It matters not WHERE you die, whether in the street gutters overdosed with drugs and under the deadly effects of opiates, or in a four post golden gilded bed on satin sheets, it is sin that brings forth death.
One more time . . . . God has made you custodian of your own soul. Now Christ gave Himself as an offering for your sin. He offered HIS OWN SOUL to reconcile you to God. He saw the travail of HIS OWN SOUL, spotless and pure, but He took on the fires of sin and death, He poured OUT HIS SOUL as the blood of His life flowed out into the dust of the ground from whence man came. In His death on the cross, God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. God would give Himself a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. And all those who will commit their soul in belief in the Lord Jesus Christ will have the forgiveness of their sin, and in their new birth, God will restore their soul, and their spirit, and one day will be giving a body like the Body of the invisible God, Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL. To conclude this article and with much desire that you would examine your own soul, I leave you with a hymn by Philip P. Bliss.
Amen and so shall it be . . . Selah.
Once for All!
~
Free from the law— O happy condition!
Jesus has bled and there is remission;
Cursed by the law and bruised by the fall,
Grace hath redeemed us once for all.
~
Now we are free — there’s no condemnation!
Jesus provides a perfect salvation;
“Come unto Me—,” O hear His sweet call!
Come — and He saves us once for all.
~
Children of God —O glorious calling!
Surely His grace will keep us from falling;
Passing from death to life at His call, Blessed salvation once for all.
CHORUS
Once for all — O sinner, receive it!
Once for all — O brother, believe it:
Cling to the cross, the burden will fall — Christ hath redeemed us once for all!
